Definitions

  • the invention relates to a kit for producing a glass brick wall, with glass brick elements as well as continuous bar reinforcement elements for the arrangement in passages running parallel to the visible wall surface in the glass brick wall, the rod reinforcement elements having an external thread for a screw fastening include on a frame profile.
  • kit is known from DE-A-32 25 689.
  • the kit consists of four Glass blocks welded together glass block elements on their narrow sides have running edge grooves for the formation of the passages. Over several Reinforcing bars that extend along the narrow sides have an external thread at their ends for screw mounting on the frame profile.
  • the kit according to the invention solving this problem is characterized in that the glass block elements at least one from the one to the other narrow side extending cavity for the formation of the passages, and that the rod reinforcement elements Rods of greater length than the cavity with an external thread at one end and a matching internal thread in a thickening on have the other end such that the glass block elements by means of, through their mentioned cavities inserted through rods by abutment of the thickenings each individually.
  • the first on the frame profile can be screwed and finally, the bars bolted together, the continuous bar reinforcement element form.
  • kit according to the invention is the possibility dispensing with glue and thus disassembly the glass brick wall, which they built for temporary buildings makes suitable.
  • the elements preferably consist of a plurality of glass blocks encircled all around in a plastic framework, and the cavities mentioned are in each case a longitudinal bore in a rod of the framework or an intermediate space between two aligned rods of a split, partly on one visible surface and partly Part formed on the other visible surface of the element with a spacing between the two parts.
  • the divided truss saves material and transport weight. Where there is no need for disassembly, it is possible to pour the glass brick wall in the spaces with thin concrete and to make it fireproof in this way.
  • truss can thicken Place on the front narrow side of the element (i.e. if the bars are arranged vertically, which is the rule will, on the upper narrow side) or in one of the thickening appropriate expansion of the hole at the front or top End due to the thickening; in the former case the Thickening can be found in a corresponding extension on lower or rear end of the hole of the next element.
  • you are bridging both Parts create an abutment, which is still discussed, or by bridging the two neighboring glass blocks.
  • a hexagon or square is formed in the thickening above or below the internal thread, so that the rod can be rotated with an Allen key.
  • a thickening placed directly on the narrow side of the element or on a said bridging could also have a hexagon or the like outside for the attack of a turning tool.
  • the thickening can also be formed by a nut screwed onto the relevant end of the rod. Then there is the possibility to place the element with the rod already inserted and only later to attach an abutment mentioned, which is pierced by the rod, and to screw the thickened portion over the abutment. This possibility is important for the top elements, which have to be placed close under the lintel.
  • grooves are formed on the two narrow sides of the elements mentioned, in the case of a divided framework with an interrupted base, and as springs extending from one element into the other element, bores for the passage of the rods are inserted into the grooves provided, preferably from the entire width or height of the glass block wall.
  • a two-dimensional reinforcement grid is created with the strips extending at right angles to the bars and penetrated by the bars.
  • the tongue and groove connection ensures that the elements of successive layers are joined together in the direction perpendicular to the glass block wall.
  • each new layer on the continuous bar is evenly laid up or laid out.
  • the strip also forms a bridging point on which the thickening of the bar can toast.
  • the elements can on the one hand have a groove and on the other hand a molded tongue, so that they are also within the position by tongue and groove get connected. In the case of shared trusses too this tongue and groove interrupted lengthwise.
  • the strips preferably have a flat, hollow cross section.
  • this cross-sectional shape corresponds to the only slight between the glass blocks for recessing the grooves standing distance and secondly gives the the desired rigidity perpendicular to the glass block wall.
  • the hollow cross-section preferably has Partitions on to the bar for its function as Stiffen abutment for the thickenings.
  • rods get along as a result of the offset between two elements of the previous row, they can be accommodated here by appropriate grooves on the narrow sides of the elements in question next to the springs and, with a correspondingly increased length, can only be screwed on in the next row as usual.
  • the elements can also be used to erect round glass block walls be designed with an angle of two opposite Narrow sides. Especially for the staggered arrangement there can also be an angulation in the middle.
  • the bars of the truss are preferably on the outside of the element as a whole half as wide as the bars inside of the framework to ensure the same joint width in the composite surrender.
  • the elements can also be sealed against each other be it by firm, soft sealing strips or by a each applied sealant.
  • Fig. 1 leaves a lower frame profile 1 and a side frame profile 2 recognize that at right angles with a miter butt and together with another side Frame profile and an upper frame profile the glass block wall encompass the whole.
  • the elements 4-7 have the configuration shown in FIG. 2:
  • the four glass blocks 3 are held together by a plastic frame 9 which represents a framework and which has been produced in a mold with the glass blocks 3 as an insert.
  • a tongue 13 matching the groove 12 is designed on the other narrow side.
  • a bore 14 extends through the entire height of the element in the vertical rod of the central cross.
  • the lower frame profile 1 has a spring 15 which the grooves 10 of the elements 4-6 is adapted and engages in these grooves.
  • the side frame profile 2 has one in the grooves 12 of the elements 4 and 7 engaging spring 16. In the side As a result of the elements, the springs 13 engage in the grooves 12.
  • Each element 4-6 is on the lower frame profile 1 by means of a rod 17 screwed from above through the hole 14 is inserted, with an external thread 18 on its lower End in a corresponding threaded hole in the frame profile 1 engages and with a thickening 19 at the top of the element presses.
  • the thickening 19 takes place in a corresponding extension 20 of the bore 14 at its upper end and meets the shoulder 21 formed by the extension 20.
  • An internal thread 22 is formed in the thickening 19 in order to screw in a next rod 17 with its external thread 18 here.
  • the thickening 19 has an internal hexagon 23 above the internal thread 22.
  • the elements 7, etc. of the second layer are screwed tight in the same way by means of rods 17, which, however, now engage with the external threads 18 in the internal thread 22 of the rods 17 located below them.
  • the strip 24 is provided with a hole for the passage of the rod 17 at the relevant points.
  • the next layer of elements is again laid in the same way, etc.
  • the frame profile there is then placed with a spring formed on it in the upper grooves 11 of the elements of the uppermost layer, on the left edge in FIG Glass block wall, the local frame profile is inserted with a groove formed in it on the springs 13 of the last elements.
  • the assembled bars 17 and strips 24 form a reinforcement grid, that also shown in Fig. 1 alone is.
  • the plastic border 9 which is continuous in the element according to FIG. 2 on the thickness of the element is replaced by a two-part plastic border 25, interrupted on the thickness of the element, again in the form of the framework.
  • the grooves corresponding to the grooves 10-12, here designated 26-28, and the spring 13 corresponding, designated 29 are accordingly interrupted.
  • the grooves 26-28 only appear as mutually facing folds on the two parts of the plastic surround 25; the spring 29 with its two parts each becomes a counterfold.
  • the rods 17 are modified into rods 30, which are also on the top End are provided with a thread 31, on one of which the thickening 19 forming mother 32 and otherwise coinciding therewith is screwed on.
  • a strip 33 lying in the grooves 26 and 27 or the rabbets is wider than the strip 24 and has stiffening partitions 34 provided.
  • the bar 33 bridges the gap between the two parts of the plastic surround 25 and forms one Counter bearing for the thickening 19 or nut 32.
  • you will already have the rods 30 handle screwed nuts 32 like rods 17.
  • the two parts are the Glass blocks 3 holding together 25 in turn the glass blocks 3 held together.
  • Fig. 6 also leaves one Recognize cavity 35 most clearly, the one here instead of the bore 14, the rod 30 receives.
  • the gap 35 extends between those cut in FIG. 5 with each other aligned, middle truss rods of the border 25.
