Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rail grinding machine which is mobile and provided with its own drive, with a platform formed from longitudinal members and cross members, the track rollers provided with drive on at least one end face and guided on the rails of the track, and a plurality of two each parallel to one another in the direction of travel and has grinding modules detachably connected to the frame, each grinding module having a frame with a swivel frame arranged in the longitudinal direction of the rail.
  • Rail grinding machines which can be moved by hand are known from the prior art for grinding welding beads and are placed on the rail by one or two persons, a grinding head or a grinding belt processing the welding bead.
  • these grinding devices can be pivoted on the rail, wherein the grinding head can optionally also be raised and lowered in order to ensure that the rail head is machined in accordance with the profile, in particular in the region of the running surface of the rail.
  • a rail grinding machine is also proposed in EP-A-0 444 242, which comprises a first grinding device with a first grinding belt oriented essentially in the longitudinal direction of the rail for eliminating corrugation and corrugation valleys on the rail running surface and additionally comprises a second grinding device with a second grinding belt oriented approximately transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail, by means of which at the transition from the rail Radii intended for the side or inner flank are ground.
  • the task is to grind shorter track sections, the length of which can be from a few 100 meters to a few kilometers. Understandably, such rail sections can no longer be ground with a hand grinder. However, the distance to be ground is too short for the use of a rail grinding train, so that the use of such a grinding train is not worthwhile for economic reasons. It should also be borne in mind that this grinding train would first have to be moved to the point to be processed via the track network in order to then be able to be brought out of the track again at a possibly distant point after the grinding work has been completed.
  • the present invention is therefore concerned with the technical problem of developing a rail grinding machine which is particularly suitable for grinding rail sections which are too long for grinding with hand grinding machines, but for which the use of a grinding train is either not possible or is not possible for reasons of traffic technology is complex.
  • a rail grinding machine should be placed on the track in a simple manner and be lifted off the track again. It must also be possible to carry out the grinding work within the framework of a rail traffic to be maintained to interrupt at short notice, to remove the grinding machine from the track and to start grinding again after the route has been cleared.
  • a movable and self-propelled rail grinding machine on a track which is characterized in that the swivel frame is pivotally mounted on both sides in two opposite guide rails in the longitudinal direction of the rail and arranged one below the other on the frame, the sliding guides being located within a common circular sector Describe concentric part circles, the common center of which is below the rail head in the region of the rail web, and a grinding spindle support frame with a motor-driven grinding head is arranged in the swivel frame and is height-adjustable relative to the swivel frame.
  • the grinding machine 1 essentially has a rail-accessible, self-propelled platform 2 which can be equipped with work facilities in the form of grinding modules 3.
  • the platform 2 has a frame 4 made of side members 5 and cross members 6 and is provided with running wheels 7 in the form of track rollers, which are combined, for example in pairs, in the direction of travel one behind the other to form wheel sets 8 and are mounted on the platform 2 via a turntable 9.
  • access areas 12 are provided for the operating personnel at a suitable location.
  • the travel drive takes place via two controllable drive units 13, which interact with the wheels 7 of two opposite wheel sets 8 at the front or rear end of the platform 2.
  • the drive unit 13 consisting of motor 14, belt wheels 15, 16, V-belts 17, drive shaft 18, drive gear 19 and the holder 21 or storage of these parts, is connected to the wheel set 8 by means of screws 22, such that that the toothing 23 of the drive gear 19 is in engagement with a corresponding impeller-side toothing 24.
  • the two wheels 7 of the wheelset 8 are rotationally coupled by means of an intermediate gear 25. By loosening the screws 22, the complete drive unit 13 can be separated from the wheel set 8 and, if necessary, mounted on another wheel set 8.
  • the drive is expediently carried out by correspondingly dimensioned electric motors 14, which can be controllable or reversible and via a current source, for example an accumulator 26 arranged on the platform 2 and / or an internal combustion engine driven generator, be supplied.
  • a current source for example an accumulator 26 arranged on the platform 2 and / or an internal combustion engine driven generator
  • a plurality of grinding modules 3 can be mounted on the platform 2 in such a way that the grinding modules 3 each assigned to a rail track 27 are arranged mirror-symmetrically one behind the other and next to one another in the direction of travel.
  • the detachable connection of the grinding modules 3 to the platform 2 takes place by means of threaded bolts 28. After the threaded bolts 28 have been loosened, the grinding modules 3 can be completely removed from the platform 2, with the handles 29 being folded out being available to the operating personnel.
  • a grinding module 3 consists of a frame 31 which can be connected to the platform 2 via the threaded bolts 28 and which carries an upper and a lower guide plate 32, 33 in two planes transverse to the direction of travel.
  • the upper and lower guide plates 32, 33 have arcuate guide grooves 34, 35 with a common center 36, which lies below the rail head 27a in the region of the rail web 27b.
  • FIG. 5 shows an enlarged view of the upper region of the frame 31 with the guide plate 32 fastened thereon, in the guide groove 34 of which the guide pin 38 protruding from the swivel frame 37 engages in the form of a roller or ball bearing.
  • rollers 58 in the form of ball bearings are arranged on the swivel frame 37, which interact with the guide plates 32 and 33, respectively.
  • the swiveling movement of the swivel frame 37 is brought about via a threaded spindle 41 mounted on the frame 31 with a hand crank 42 and a spindle nut 43 arranged on the swivel frame 37.
  • the swivel frame 37 carries two longitudinal guide rods 49, which are used to guide a support frame 45 of the grinding device 63.
  • a threaded spindle 46 mounted on the swivel frame 37 with a crank handle 47 and a spindle nut 48 arranged on the support frame 45 enable the grinding spindle 49 to be adjusted or the grinding wheel 51 in the direction of the rail head 27a and away from it (arrow Pf 2 in FIG. 4).
  • the grinding head 51 can assume any desired position on the rail head 27a to be ground in the area of its running surface.
  • the grinding wheel 51 In the uppermost position of the grinding spindle 49, the grinding wheel 51 is located above the plane 53 defined by the legs 52, so that when grinding modules 3 are not mounted on the platform 2, i. standing grinding modules 3, the grinding wheel 51 is retracted and protected. The grinding wheel 51 can then also be exchanged with the grinding modules 3 mounted on the platform 2 (better access).
  • the grinding spindle 49 is preferably driven via V-belts 54 and belt wheels 55, 56 by an internal combustion engine 57, which is arranged in the support frame 45 together with auxiliary units or tank etc.
  • brake linkages 59 which can be lowered onto the rail head 27a on the grinding machine 1 and which have brake pads 61.
  • the linkage 59 can be raised and lowered by means of a spindle 62.
  • the rail grinding machine 1 is driven to its place of use in a disassembled manner on a road vehicle (truck) with a crane boom.
  • a road vehicle truck
  • the platform 2 with its track rollers 7 is first placed on the track 27, then the drive units 13 and the grinding modules 3 are placed on the platform 2 and screwed.
  • dismantling is carried out in reverse order.
  • the grinder can also be lifted from the track and swiveled out of the track using a lifting device. In contrast to the grinding trains, you are not forced to approach the track to be ground via side tracks and switches and to leave it again in the same way.
  • the grinding machine can be approached to the track at any desired location using traffic routes that can be driven by trucks and the grinding device according to the invention can be installed in the shortest possible time. This significantly shortens the period in which a track cannot be used due to the grinding work and is closed to traffic.
