Claims (10)

  1. Appareil pour relier par application de chaleur, des feuilles, dont l'une au moins comporte un adhésif au niveau du bord à relier, comportant un dispositif de chauffage électrique allongé, dont la longueur correspond à la longueur d'une ouverture allongée de l'appareil, un dispositif de branchement (19) pour activer un circuit électrique (5-10) au moyen d'un signal de démarrage au moment où la reliure est placée sur le dispositif de chauffage (4), et des moyens (28,34,13,14,15) pour produire, lors de la fermeture de l'ouverture, des signaux d'information contenant des indications concernant l'épaisseur de la reliure, le circuit (5-10) étant équipé de manière à produire un signal utile à partir du signal de démarrage et des signaux d'information, caractérisé en ce que l'appareil comporte une partie de fond (1) et une partie formant couvercle (2), que l'ouverture allongée (22) est située dans la partie formant couvercle (2), dans laquelle est disposée une paroi basculante (28), grâce à laquelle l'ouverture (22) peut être au moins partiellement fermée, et que sur la paroi basculante (28) est disposée une partie des moyens (34), qui servent à produire les signaux d'information.

Appareil selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que la partie de fond (1) comprend une plaque de fond (3), sur laquelle est disposé le dispositif allongé de chauffage (4), qu'une plaquette imprimée (5), équipée de composants (6,7,8,9,10) est disposée verticalement sur la plaque de fond (3) et qu'une barrette de retenue (16) est montée horizontalement dans une position légèrement surélevée, de sorte que le plan de la surface de la barrette de retenue fait un angle (W) avec la plaque de fond (3), et que la barrette de retenue (16) sert à supporter un interrupteur (17) et au moins un élément d'affichage (18).
