Definitions

  • the invention relates to a flyer according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • the table top covering the spinning positions is normally arranged horizontally on the wing bench.
  • a large number of blowing nozzles are arranged, for example, on the edge of the tabletop facing away from the operating side, with which the contaminants are blown away from the tabletop can be.
  • the impurities can also be insufficiently extracted.
  • a flyer according to the preamble of the independent claim is known from DE-C2-24 19 188. Blown air is conducted below the drafting system to an intermediate floor above the flyer wings, to which the fuselages run at an acute angle. Deposits on the mezzanine floor, which are whirled up by the air flow, can accumulate on the fuses, which can cause thick spots.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a spinning machine of the type mentioned, in which the flying, i.e. the accumulation of flight and other contaminants in the area of free fiber sliver sections, which extend between the drafting units and the spinning stations, in a simple and inexpensive manner can be avoided.
  • the embodiment according to claim 3 is particularly advantageous.
  • the slanted table top provided according to the invention makes it possible to use a traveling blower to keep the table top clean, which blows the table top clean from the drafting system area, since the blowing nozzles of the traveling blower can be arranged relatively close to the inclined table top and the air flow practically the free sliver sections does not need to cross.
  • the oblique table top can thus be cleaned in an energy-saving and effective manner with a blowing nozzle of a traveling blower, the air flow generated by the traveling blower blowing approximately in the longitudinal direction of the fuses.
  • the energy requirement for blowing the spinning machine clean can be kept low, since the air pressure required for blowing clean need only be generated at the blowing nozzles of the traveling blower. It is therefore sufficient if the required air pressure is present at only one or at a few blowing nozzles, as a result of which the required energy is reduced.
  • the cleaning intervals in which the traveling blower periodically or as required can be adapted to the particular circumstances during spinning, in particular to the material to be processed in each case, which produces more or less impurities or free fibers.
  • a major advantage of the invention is that the traveling blower practically does not adversely affect the quality of the fiber lunches produced with the spinning machine, since the cleaning air flow generated by it runs in the transport direction of the fiber lunches, so that it does not exert any undesirable forces on the free fiber lunar sections that possibly could lead to incorrect delays or broken rags.
  • the embodiment according to claim 5 has the advantage that the area of the free fiber sliver sections, in which there is a relatively large amount of flight due to fibers released from the fiber structure, is almost completely shielded from the inside of the spinning machine, so that the interior of the machine can be kept clean in a simplified manner .
  • a light barrier can be provided which responds to the fuse with a certain sag and indicates a fuse break.
  • a roving machine or flyer has a schematically illustrated machine frame 23 with a base frame 25 and a schematically illustrated support column arrangement 26.
  • a spool bank 24 is arranged on the base frame 25 of the machine frame 23 and carries two rows of spools 27, which extend over the length of the machine and are adjacent to one another transversely to the machine longitudinal direction.
  • flyer wings 28 are arranged on a wing bench 29, which are arranged on the support column arrangement 26 is attached.
  • a protective screen 22 is arranged on the wing bench 29 on the operating side of the roving machine.
  • the protective screen 22 is advantageously designed or arranged on the spinning machine in such a way that it can be folded away in order to allow free access to the individual spinning positions formed by the spools 27 and the flyer wings 28.
  • drafting systems 11 On the support column arrangement 26 there are arranged drafting systems 11 - only one of which is shown - to which fiber slivers, e.g. Track belts 30 are supplied.
  • an air suction duct 19 is attached to the support column arrangement 26.
  • the drafting device 11 can be designed as a hollow profile, has 20 sliver suction openings 18 in its upper wall, in order to suck off the fiber sliver or the fiber ribbon supplied by the drafting device 11 in the event of a rupture of the sliver, so that the ribbon or sliver supplied by the drafting devices 11 cannot lead to further disruptions to the spinning operation .
  • swirl bodies 10 are provided as deflection and guide bodies for the fiber lunches, in order to deflect the fiber lunches 12 coming from the delivery cylinders 17 of the drafting devices 11 and through the flyer wing attachments 31, 32 to the flyer wings 28 of the corresponding spinning positions respectively.
  • the flyer wing attachments 32 of the inner row of flyer wings are longer than the flyer wing attachments of the outer flyer wing row, so that the swirl bodies 10 are arranged essentially in a plane which coincides with a plane given by the lines of contact of the individual drafting cylinders. This ensures that the free fiber sliver sections 12 of all the fiber slivers supplied by the drafting units 11 lie in one plane, regardless of whether the fiber slabs are guided to spinning positions of the front or rear row of spinning positions.
  • a table top 13 is articulated to the hollow profile of the air extraction duct 19 and its front edge 21 rests on the wing bench 29 in the area of the protective screen 22.
  • a seal, not shown, can be provided between the wing bench 29 and the front edge 21 of the table top 13.
  • the table top 13 has passage openings 33 through which the flyer wing attachments 31, 32 with their swirl bodies 10 can protrude upwards.
  • a traveling blower 14 is provided as a blowing device, which is arranged to be movable on a rail system 35 which is connected to the machine frame in a manner not shown.
  • the traveling blower 14 is connected via a schematically illustrated, flexible compressed air line 36 to a compressed air source, not shown.
  • a blower arm 15 of the traveling blower extends into the region of the table top 13, where a blowing nozzle 16 is arranged such that the table top 13 can be blown clean in the direction of the free fiber sliver sections 12.
  • a drafting device suction nozzle 37 can be arranged on the traveling blower 14 by means of a corresponding suction arm 38. Accordingly, the traveling blower 14 is connected in a manner not shown to a vacuum source.
  • the traveling blower 14 moves the roving machine 14 as required or periodically, the table top 13 being blown clean by the blowing nozzle 16. At the same time, fibers detached from the fiber tapes are sucked off in the area of the drafting systems 11 by the drafting system suction nozzle 37.
  • a table top which extends from the hollow profile of the air suction duct 19 to the operator-side front edge of the wing bench 29, a table top can also be provided, which is also arranged above the air suction duct 19. Appropriate sliver suction openings must then be provided in the table top.
  • the pre-spinning machine or the flyer according to FIG. 2 differs from the flyer according to FIG. 1 essentially only in that the table top 13 with its longitudinal edge 34 facing the drafting units 11 is arranged at a distance from the delivery cylinders 17 is, so that between the longitudinal edge 34 and the delivery cylinders 17, a monitoring area 40 extending to below the level of the table top 13 is provided.
  • a support bracket 43 is provided on the support column arrangement 26, at the upper end of which the table top 13 is arranged to be pivotable about a pivot axis running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the machine.
  • the holding bracket 43 delimits the monitoring area 40, in which a light barrier 41 is arranged, which extends over the spinning area of the flyer, in order to detect broken rags.
  • Each drafting system 11 is assigned a sliver suction tube 42, which is connected to an air suction channel in a manner not shown.
  • the sliver suction tube 42 serves to pull off the broken fiber sliver in the event of a sliver break, which was still supplied until the roving machine was switched off.
  • the blowing nozzle 16 is aligned with the longitudinal edge 34 of the table top 13 so that the cleaning air stream leaving the blowing nozzle 16 seen in the transport direction of the fiber lunches 12 behind the longitudinal edge 34 reaches the level of the table top 13 and thus the surface of the table top 13, so that in the Monitoring area 40 no air is blown.
  • the pre-spinning machine described with reference to FIG. 2 is kept clean during the spinning operation in the same way as the pre-spinning machine according to FIG. 1.
  • a sag first forms the broken fuse which is detected by the light barrier 41, whereupon the entire roving machine is switched off.
