Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for transporting patients according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a device of this type is the subject of FR-A-2 271 805.
  • This known device does not provide the patient with sufficiently secure positioning and stabilization in the inter-leg area in the case of leg injuries and in particular in the case of thigh injuries to both legs.
  • US-A-4 910 818 discloses a substantially T-shaped pillow releasably attachable to the stretcher.
  • This pillow holds the patient's knees with a horizontal T-bar detachably attached to the surface of the stretcher, on which an essentially triangular elevation can be formed on either side of the T-bar rising vertically from the surface of the stretcher bent position and keeps the patient's knees apart with a vertical T-bar.
  • an essentially triangular elevation can be formed on either side of the T-bar rising vertically from the surface of the stretcher bent position and keeps the patient's knees apart with a vertical T-bar.
  • Fig. 1 shows a support 1 intended for the transport of patients, which consists of a flexible, preferably inherently rigid, material and in the case shown is designed as a cushion.
  • a zipper 3 extends from the edge 2, which is occupied on the head side, over a little more than 2/3 of the total length of the support 1, the bands 4 and 5 of which, each provided with a row of staples, in a longitudinal gap 6 of the cushion on its side walls facing one another 7 and 8 are attached approximately halfway up the cushion.
  • the zipper contains a zipper slide 9 for opening and closing the same, to which the free end 10 of a drawstring 11 is fastened, the opposite end region 12 of which is inserted through a guide channel 13.
  • the guide channel 13 is aligned with the longitudinal gap 6 and leads to the foot end 14 of the mattress, where the free end 15 of the tension band 11 exits from it.
  • the zipper 3 can be opened by pulling the drawstring in the direction of arrow A.
  • a protective cover 16, 17 is attached to the top and bottom of the mattress, which is attached to one side of the longitudinal gap 6 on the mattress.
  • a closed drawstring loop which is also not shown in the drawing, can be produced, which can expediently be guided in corresponding guide channels and, for example, in the area of the lateral edge of the support 1 protrudes above it for actuation purposes.
  • FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment of the support 1 shown in FIG. 1 for the transport of patients, in which matching parts have the same reference numerals and in which the head end of the support, in contrast to the illustration in FIG. 1, is shown as lying on the left .
  • a Velcro fastener 20 is provided here, which serves essentially the same purpose.
  • the Velcro fastener 20 consists of two tapes 21, 22 of a material provided with hooks on the surface, which is attached with downward-facing hooks on the underside of the support 1 such that the free, mutually facing edges protrude into the longitudinal gap 6 and adjacent to each other come to rest.
  • a band 23 provided with loops on its surface is applied to the underside of the bands 21 and 22 in such a way that the hooks and loops interlock in a known manner and form the Velcro fastener.
  • the band 23 has a width such that it covers the bands 21 and 22 and the area remaining between them.
  • the free end 10 of the tension band 11 is fastened to the end of the band 23 which is occupied at the head side, so that the Velcro fastener 20 can be torn open with the help of the tension band 11.
  • FIG. 8 and 9 also show a connection of the areas of the support 1 which are laterally occupied to the longitudinal gap 6 by means of Velcro fasteners, in both cases the longitudinal gap 6 being inclined to the surface of the support, which in particular when filling the support with foam grains over a long period of time Ensures dimensional stability of the support in its central area and counteracts accidental sagging of a particularly heavy patient. While in the case of FIG. 8 the Velcro fastener is formed by a hooked band 21 and a looped band 23, which on the opposite end faces of the gap 6th are arranged, the Velcro fastener 20 in the embodiment of FIG. 9 corresponds to that of FIG. 6.
  • the mutually opposite edges of the longitudinal gap 6 each carry a clamping profile 25, 26 into which a slide 27 can be inserted, which consists of an elastic band 28, on the outer edge of which reinforced beads 29 are attached , which hold the slide 27 in the clamping profiles 25 and 26.
  • a transverse gap 30 which, with a correspondingly rigid design of the support 1, allows the regions of the support adjacent to the longitudinal gap 6 to be pulled apart in order to gently lay a patient down from the support, this bringing the patient apart Longitudinal gap 6 adjacent areas of the support 1 in Fig. 10 and in a corresponding manner in Fig. 14 is indicated schematically by the dash-dotted line.
  • tubes 31, 32, 33, 34 are attached, the tubes 31 and 33 or 32 and 34 being able to pass from the head to the foot end of the support if they are suitably elastic are so that they do not hinder a patient's placement process.
  • handles 35 are attached, which are bent back in a U-shape and with rounded corners over the end regions of the support 1 and which, as can be seen from FIG. 16 and the arrow B shown there, extendable in the tubes 31 to 34 and rotatably mounted with respect to their longitudinal axis, so that they can be turned away to save space when not in use.
  • the support for transporting patients corresponds essentially to that of FIG. 13, but here only that at the head end occupied tubes 31 and 32 and the associated handles are shown.
  • a carrying strap 36 is provided here, the free end 37 of which is detachably attached to the end of the tube 31 projecting outward beyond the handle 35.
  • the carrying strap 36 is wound on a drum 38 which is held at the outer end of the tube 32 or the tube piece 32a which is slidably guided therein and rotatably supports the handle 35, as can be seen in detail from FIG. 16.
  • the winding drum 38 is pretensioned by a spring 39 which is received in the interior of the tube piece or the sleeve 32a and which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner opposite.
  • a suction pump can be integrated in the foot region thereof, as is indicated, for example, by the reference numeral 40 in the embodiment of FIG. 10.
  • the longitudinal gap 6 of the dividing line opens at its inner end into an opening 41, analogous to the transverse gap 30 from FIG. 10, which facilitates the pulling apart of the regions of the support adjacent to the longitudinal gap 6.
  • Handles 42 are attached to the lateral edge 19 of the support.
  • Fig. 18 shows a longitudinal section through a zipper 3 and an adjacent part of the longitudinal gap 6.
  • a material with low friction properties 43 is attached, which is to prevent the zipper from braking during the opening and closing process by the protective cover 16 .
  • the underside of the protective cover 16 is also provided with non-slip material 49.
  • a reinforcing bar 46 is arranged, which, viewed in the direction of pull A, on the front and protrudes beyond the zipper slider 9 at the rear. Spacers, which are connected to the reinforcing strip 46, are arranged between rows of staples 4, 5 and the reinforcing strip.
  • the spacers are preferably made of non-slip plastic and, as is not apparent from the drawing, rounded at their edge edges 50, 51.
  • the reinforcing strip 46 is provided on its underside with the tension band 11, in such a way that no edges form, as can be seen in FIG. 19.
  • the connection between the spacers 44, 45, the reinforcing bar 46 and the tension band 11 is made in the embodiment of FIG. 18 by means of retractable rivets 52, 53.
  • the overlap part 54 shown is provided with an indentation 55 approximately at the crotch height of the patient to be placed thereon, which makes it easier to adapt the overlap part 54 to the patient's legs.
  • Figure 21 shows a top view of a full, cross-slit vacuum mattress.
  • the dividing line provided with a zipper 3 extends into the attachment area of the additional modeling material created by cross-slitting.
  • the inner edges 56, 57 of the overlap parts are arranged on both sides of the longitudinal central axis.
  • the cross section shown in FIG. 22 through an evacuable vacuum mattress makes it clear how the inner edges 56, 57 of the overlapping parts are moved with an adapted modeling compound.
  • the steepness of the transverse slot 58 influences the thickness and width of the overlap parts.
  • ribs 59 are attached along the transverse slot, which reinforce the overlap parts of the support.
  • the angle of the transverse slot in the embodiment of FIG. 23 is significantly steeper than that in the embodiment of FIG. 22.
  • the top view of a vacuum mattress 1 in FIG. 24 shows a protuberance 60 extending from the foot end 14 of the support, which in this embodiment is firmly welded to the vacuum mattress 1.
  • the holes 61 represent an evacuable connection between the vacuum mattress and the hump 60 and, depending on the size, can prevent or facilitate the exchange of granules between the hump crest 62 and the vacuum mattress 1.
  • no indentation running parallel to the hump 60 is shown, which facilitates the pressing of the hump 60 into the vacuum mattress 1.
  • a suction valve 63 for a suction device is shown near the edge of the vacuum mattress.
  • FIG. 27 shows a cross-slit vacuum mattress 1, which is received by a carrier 67.
  • the carrier 67 has in In the embodiment shown, two supporting surfaces 68, 69, which are penetrated by a supporting spar 70 (not visible in FIG. 27).
  • the supporting spar 70 is connected here by means of clamping screws 71 to a U-shaped handle 72, on which a cross strut 73 is rotatably and foldably attached.
  • the two cross struts 73, 74 of the two supporting surfaces 68, 69 are connected to a stabilizing sleeve 75. 27, the two supporting surfaces are not connected by holding means, as is possible in an embodiment according to the invention.
  • FIG. 29 shows the top view of a cross-slit vacuum mattress 1 which, starting from the head end, can be divided by means of a zipper 3.
  • the vacuum mattress is received by a carrier and the free end 15 of the tension band 11 can be seen at the foot end 14 of the vacuum mattress.
