Definitions

  • the invention relates to a securing device for swivel components of vehicles, in particular for hoods of motor vehicles, of the type specified in the preamble of the main claim.
  • Such a device is already known from DE-PS 23 64 466, the handle being articulated on the securing hook, and the control edge belonging to the securing hook.
  • the pivoting feed of the securing hook caused by the control edge up to its catch position and the feed path of the handle are in a direct connection between its position lowered in a radiator grille and its operating position protruding from the radiator grille.
  • the feed path of the handle be increased, e.g. B. in order to be able to use a handle that is more accessible, the securing hook itself must also be enlarged by a corresponding amount.
  • the safety hook must be able to reliably perform its catching function even when driving, if the bonnet closure is triggered accidentally, as a result of which the bonnet, supported by the dynamic pressure of the airstream, soars upwards.
  • a handle arrangement for a pivoting component of vehicles in which a handle is pivoted from a recessed rest position into a release position suitable for operation as soon as a locking of the pivoting component is released.
  • a pivotably mounted control hook is provided, which is arranged on the pivot component and is moved in the opening direction by sliding along on the counter component.
  • the known arrangement does not include a safety hook which, after unlocking the pivoting component, must first maintain a catch connection between it and the corresponding counterpart.
  • the problem of unintentional removal of such a catch connection as a result of a constructive enlargement of the handle feed is therefore not at all present.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a safety device of the generic type in such a way that, while maintaining its compact design, it is possible to enlarge the automatic handling feed without safety concerns and without sacrificing the ease of use of the safety device.
  • control hook Since the control hook is formed separately from the safety hook, the control edge can be designed for the greatest possible advance of the handle regardless of the hook design. Conversely, the securing hook can also be optimized in terms of strength, since its shape is no longer influenced by the course of the control edge. Since the swivel planes of the control hook and the safety hook lie in adjacent, mutually parallel planes, the particularly simple coupling of movement of the two hooks is ensured by means of a rigid driver, the leading of the control hook relative to the safety hook being determined by the arrangement of the driver.
  • the degree of advance of the control hook is preferably selected such that the control hook is only coupled to the safety hook in the operating position of the handle.
  • the safety hook does not take part in the automatic movement of the control hook that swings forward, but initially maintains its catch position unchanged.
  • the securing hook and the control hook can be mounted on a common axle bolt. For manufacturing reasons, it is advisable to form the driver on the control hook.
  • the driver preferably consists of a plate stop which projects at right angles from a broad side of the control hook and which runs flat against a rear edge of the securing hook. Due to the flat contact of the panel stop on the rear edge of the safety hook, the requirements for the bending stiffness of the panel stop are reduced to a minimum.
  • An extension of the plate stop by a hook-shaped angled guide tab can ensure that the plate stop does not, e.g. due to its own deflection, can slip off the rear edge of the safety hook. This also significantly reduces the requirements for the control hook's bearing precision.
  • both the control hook and the safety hook are loaded by means of their own return spring. If one of the return springs breaks, a return force can be transmitted from the functional return spring to both components if, in addition to the plate stop, a further driver stop is provided, which acts in the opposite direction of pivoting.
  • the safety device With the restriction of an unintentional false triggering of the hood lock while driving, the safety device remains functional even without any spring loading of the control hook or safety hook if both the Safety hook and the control hook have a corresponding reset lug.
  • a control hook made of plastic can be e.g. by an injection molding process, inexpensive to manufacture and is characterized by a relatively low weight.
  • the acceleration mass of the control hook which is thereby lower than that of metallic materials contributes to a further increase in the safety reserves of the device.
  • the return spring assigned to the control hook can be dimensioned weaker, which benefits the ease of use when pulling the handle.
  • bonnet 1 shows a longitudinal section through a motor vehicle front in the transition area from a bonnet 1 to a radiator grille 2, the radiator grille 2 being carried by a radiator grille 2a which is firmly connected to the bonnet 1 at the latter Leading edge connects.
  • the assembly of bonnet 1 and grille 2 is struck in a manner not shown along a rear edge of the bonnet 1 via hinge arms on the body of the motor vehicle, as a result of which it can be pivoted upward about a horizontal vehicle transverse axis.
  • a safety device 3 is arranged in the center of the bonnet 1, under the front end area thereof, which interacts with a radiator bridge 4 fixed to the body above a radiator.
  • the securing device 3 comprises as main parts a support plate 5, which is screw-fastened opposite the radiator bridge 4 on the underside of the bonnet 1, a helical compression spring 6, the upper winding end of which is fastened to the underside of the support plate 5 with axial support, a securing hook 7, which by means of an axle pin 8 is articulated on the support plate 5, a control hook 9, which is mounted laterally next to the safety hook 7 on the axle pin 8, and a rod-shaped pulling handle 10, the rear end of which is articulated on the control hook 9, and the front end region of which is in a passage opening 11 of the grille 2 is sliding.
  • the helical compression spring 6 is axially compressed and is supported with its lower end under a corresponding preload on a horizontal support surface 4a.
  • the deflecting surface 4b ends in a hooking edge 4c protruding downward, the rounded lower edge of which cooperates as a locking edge with the control hook 9 or the safety hook 7.
  • control edge 9a which extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and which is formed by a length region of the rear edge of the plate-shaped control component 9.
  • the control edge 9a which is inclined to the rear approximately at right angles to the deflecting surface 4b, lies with its predominant length extension behind the hooking edge 4c and then merges into an almost vertically sloping terminating edge.
  • the control hook 9 extends upwards, where it is mounted approximately at the level of the supporting surface 4a on the axle bolt 8 passing through it.
  • the control hook 9 is extended by a lever arm, the end edge of which rests on the bottom of the support plate 5.
  • the control hook 9 is held in its illustrated starting position, since it is pivoted counterclockwise in the clockwise direction by means of a leg spring 12, the two spring legs of which are supported by abutments on the control hook 9 on the one hand and on the support plate 5 on the other hand.
  • a reset lug 9b also projects downwards, which lies approximately halfway between the bottom of the support plate 5 and the support surface 4a.
  • a plate stop 9c is injection-molded onto the broad side of the control hook 9, which is made of plastic, facing the viewer, approximately in the middle of the control edge 9a a guide tab 9d passes over.
  • the plate stop 9c extends in a transverse plane to the control hook 9 away from this before the guide tab 9d joins, which extends parallel to the opposite broad side of the control hook 9 to the front.
  • the plate stop 9c extends obliquely downward over its stop length.
  • the length of the guide plate 9d is dimensioned such that its free end covers a broad side of the securing hook 7, which is pivotably mounted in a plane lying between the control hook 9 and the guide plate 9d.
  • an axle stub 9e is molded onto the control hook 9, on which the rear end of the pull handle 10 is mounted.
  • the safety hook 7 articulated independently of the control hook 9 on the axle pin 8 is in turn fixed in the starting position shown by means of a leg spring 13.
  • the spring legs of the leg spring 13 are each supported on an associated abutment of the securing hook 7 or the support plate 5, whereby the securing hook 7 is pivoted counterclockwise.
  • the pivotal support of the securing hook 7 is carried out in the same way as for the control hook 9 via a lever arm which projects above the axle bolt 8 and is provided with a resetting lug 7b and which lies on the side next to the lever arm of the control hook 9 with a congruent circumferential contour.
  • the rear edge of the securing hook 7 initially runs approximately vertically at a distance from the deflecting surface 4b, then changes into a straight longitudinal area that is inclined slightly obliquely backwards, reaches its deepest extent perpendicularly below the hooking edge 4c, and then runs obliquely thereafter backwards upwards, after which they are vertically upwards again directed, short edge section ends.
  • the free end of the securing hook 7 provided with the short edge section lies at a distance behind the plate stop 9c with a height overlap.
  • the helical compression spring 6 acts as a spring-loaded drive, ie the released helical compression spring 6 springs out and presses the bonnet 1 upward.
  • the bonnet 1 is raised to a position shown in FIG. 2 in accordance with the spring deflection of the helical compression spring 6, the securing device 3 having participated in the relative movement of the bonnet 1 relative to the radiator bridge 4.
  • the lower edge of the hooking edge 4c slides downward along the control edge 8a, as a result of which the control hook 9 is pivoted clockwise against its spring load.
  • the spring deflection of the helical compression spring 6 is matched to the length of the control edge 9a in such a way that the lower edge of the hooking edge 4c then lies close to the rear end edge of the control hook 9 on the control edge 9a. Furthermore, the angle of inclination of the control edge 9a is dimensioned such that the plate stop 9c lies flat against the rear edge of the securing hook 7 after the pivoting movement of the control hook 9 has been completed. Due to the articulation of the pull handle 10 on the stub shaft 9e, the pull handle 10 is also pushed out of the passage opening 11 so far that it can be comfortably gripped by the hand of an operator. Since the securing hook 7 has retained its catch position unchanged during these operations, the bonnet 1 cannot yet be fully opened.
  • the safety hook 7 and the control hook 9 automatically return to their starting position, in which they engage under the hooking edge 4c ready for catching. Since both the safety hook 7 and the control hook 9 have their own reset lugs 7b and 9b, a forced reset is achieved when the hooks 7 or 9 are stuck in the release position and if the reset fails due to spring breakage, since the reset lugs 7b and 9b are pressed when the Strike the bonnet 1 on the support surface 4a, whereby they are automatically pivoted in the direction of their securing feed.
