- the characteristic feature of claim 1 serves to solve this problem. Since two separate drives are used to drive the two oil pumps from the crankshaft and to separate the functions, one oil pump for supplying lubricating oil, the other oil pump is used exclusively for building up the hydraulic pressure on the camshaft twisting device both oil pumps are optimally designed with regard to delivery volume and delivery pressure.
