Definitions
- the invention relates to a control device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the control module consists of a pressure transducer which converts the differential pressure into a higher proportional pressure, which is then arranged in the gas supply line to the burner Gas pressure regulator acts.
- the supply pressure for the pressure transducer can be taken directly from the gas or air line.
- the pressure transducer contains a membrane exposed to the differential pressure and acted on one side with the force of a compensating spring, to which a tappet acting on a spring-loaded transmission lever is attached.
- the transmission lever which is equipped with an adjustable slide, acts on a pneumatic force switch, the output signal of which is fed as a control variable to the gas pressure regulator mentioned.
- a temperature sensor controls the main valve of a gas control device via a servo pressure controller, the control pressure simultaneously adjusting a throttle valve in the combustion air supply line in the same direction as the gas valve via a separate diaphragm drive.
- the combustion air supply line is not connected to the burner, but to the bottom area of the combustion chamber, and the differential pressure proportional to the combustion air supply is between a nozzle arranged in the combustion air supply line and an generated the bottom area of the combustion chamber connected line.
- Both control pressure lines open on both sides of the membrane of the control module in its membrane chambers, and the membrane adjusts the closing body of the gas control valve.
- EP-A 0 275 568 shows a gas-operated water heater, in which there is an orifice in the combustion air supply line, in front of and behind which connected pressure lines on both sides of a control membrane open into the membrane chambers of a control module and the control membrane acts on a gas pressure regulator via a tappet.
- the fan In a burner control known from US-A 37 41 710, the fan is located in the common gas / air supply line, and the amount of air is controlled by an air flap arranged in the air intake line depending on the heat requirement.
- the air pressure behind the flap influences the position of the fuel gas valve via a diaphragm drive.
- the object of the invention is to improve a control device of the type mentioned with regard to its function and also its safety.
- This is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1.
- the control module generates a sufficiently high pneumatic actuating signal for the diaphragm drive of the gas control valve even when there is little air draft and thus low differential pressure due to its amplifying effect.
- this ensures that the amount of gas fed in is proportionally tracked by the amount of air, even with a low throughput, and thus the best possible combustion is also ensured in this case.
- Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the dependent claims.
- a heat exchanger 1 is connected via a flow line 2 and a return line 3 to a consumer, not shown.
- a temperature sensor 4 measures the flow temperature of the hot water supplied to the consumer and delivers a corresponding signal to the actual value input 5 of the temperature controller 6.
- This receives a signal corresponding to the desired temperature at its setpoint input 7, for example from a manual adjuster.
- it controls the energy supply to the motor 8 of the fan 9 via a converter.
- the compressed air is fed to the burner 11 via the air duct 10, which, like the heat exchanger 1, is arranged in an otherwise closed combustion chamber 12.
- the exhaust gases leave the combustion chamber 12 through the flue gas discharge 13.
- the gas to be burned is fed from a gas control valve 15 to a gas nozzle 14 in the feed line 10 to the burner 11.
- the gas control valve ent speaks in its structure, for example, the combination valve V4700 from the applicant.
- a main valve is connected between its inlet 26 and its outlet 27, which consists of a closing body 28 and a valve seat 29.
- the closing body 28 is biased in the closing direction via a valve rod 30 and a spring 31.
- the valve rod bears against the working diaphragm 32 of the servo pressure regulator.
- the closing body 35 of a closing solenoid valve is switched from the rest position shown to the opposite position by means of a magnetic drive 33 and the spring-loaded actuating rod 34. It then closes the passage 36.
- gas passes from the inlet 26 through a throttle 37 into the space 38 and from there into the diaphragm chamber 39 of the main valve 28 to 32.
- the pressure in the drive chamber 39 moves the diaphragm 32 downward and opens the main valve 28, 29. Gas thus passes from inlet 26 to outlet 27 and from there via line 40 to gas nozzle 14 on burner 11.
- the pressure at the outlet 27 of the gas control valve is simultaneously supplied via the channel 41 to the chamber 42 on the side of the control membrane 43 carrying the closing body 21 facing away from the control membrane 18.
- a spring 54 which serves to adjust the zero point acts on the control diaphragm 18 and is supported on the housing side by an adjusting screw 52. By adjusting this adjusting screw 52 in the thread of the bushing 53, the force exerted by the spring 54 on the control membrane 18 can be changed.
- the pressure at the outlet 27 passes through the channel 44 into the chamber 45 below the diaphragm 49.
- This carries a closing body 50 which interacts with a valve seat 51.
- a pressure spring 47 acts on the diaphragm 49 in the closing direction of this servo valve, which is located on the housing side via a Adjusting screw 46 is supported in the thread of the socket 48.
- the maximum gas pressure can be set and limited with the adjusting screw 46.
- the servo pressure regulator consisting of diaphragm 49, spring 47 and closing body 50 in connection with the seat 51, is used as in the aforementioned valve series V4700 to limit the maximum gas pressure.
- the closing force of the closing body 50 on the seat 51 is set higher with the spring 47, all the closing force of the closing body 21 on the seat 22.
- the second servo valve formed by the control membrane 43, the closing body 21 and the seat 22 in connection with the springs 20 and 54 serves to set the zero point for the control curve of air and gas volume.
- the valve seat 22 of the servo valve 21, 22 is connected to the chamber 38 via the line 55. It has the same pressure on it as it acts in the chamber 39 on the membrane 32 of the drive for the main valve 28, 29. If the pressure at the outlet 27 and thus in the channels 41 and 44 increases and the force generated by it by means of the control membrane 43 overcomes that which acts on the membrane 18 from the opposite side through the spring 20, the closing body 21 lifts from the valve seat 22 and the working pressure in the chamber 38 can be reduced via the line 55, the valve seat 22, the chamber 42 and the channel 41 to the outlet 27. This is the usual process of regulating a servo pressure regulator. This pressure is controlled by the pressure difference on the lines 16 and 17 and thus as a function of the air throughput in the air supply duct 10.
- the amount of gas supplied to the burner 11 via the nozzle 14 is therefore continuously tracked to the amount of air conveyed by the blower 9.
- the area ratio of the membranes 18 and 43 determines the gain factor of the control module 19.
- the on-off valve 35, 36 returns to the rest position shown in the drawing under the force of its closing spring, and the control pressure in the chamber 38 is reduced via the valve seat 36 to the outlet 27.
- the main valve 28, 29 closes.
- the control module 19 is arranged as close as possible to the gas control valve 15.
- the use of a separate control module, which is not integrated in the gas control valve, has the advantage that it can either be replaced the diaphragms 18 and / or 43 or by exchanging the control module itself to set different gain factors of the control module and thus the control device can adapt to the particular circumstances of the burner system and combustion chamber without changes to the gas control valve.
- the considerable gain and the resulting high closing force of the closing body 21 ensures reliable pressure control of the gas control valve.
- the arrangement of the amplifier or control membrane 18 and the control membrane 43 close to each other in a special control module 19 leads to improved control properties and increased stability of the outlet pressure of the gas control valve.
- the latter can be designed as a standard device for different applications and, depending on the type of application, is combined with a correspondingly dimensioned control module. Since the area of the membranes 18 and 43 can be freely selected, relatively high amplification factors can be achieved. For reasons of space alone, this would not be possible if these membranes were integrated in the gas control valve.
- the control module can be arranged anywhere alongside the gas control valve. In particular when using flexible connecting cables, the control module can be accommodated in a heater at the point where there is sufficient space available. It can also be easily adjusted and adjusted there.
- the flexible line connection of the control module to the air supply duct 10 makes it possible to choose the cheapest and most suitable location for the inputs 23 and 56 for a stable mode of operation.
- this maximum pressure can also be limited by limiting the maximum stroke of the control membrane 18 by an adjustable stop.

Description
Das Servoventil 21, 22 bleibt also erst recht geschlossen.
