Definitions
- the invention relates to an oscillating floor which consists of a floor surface composed of plates and springs arranged under the plates.
- Swinging floors are mainly used in gyms and wherever floors should be equipped with a certain elasticity. They consist of a floor surface composed of plates, individual springs being arranged under the plates, which keep the plates at a certain distance from the sub-floor. Such springs are mainly made of steel and are arranged in a certain regular pattern. It happens that one or the other spring breaks. The breakage of a spring has the unfavorable consequence that adjacent springs are loaded even more. The breakage of several adjacent springs has the result that the functionality of the entire vibrating floor is questioned.
- a vibrating floor very effectively prevents the transmission of impact sound, as do floating screeds, which mostly consist of monolithic cement-gravel mixtures or asphalt and consist of natural fiber mats or mineral fiber mats or slabs on a base.
- floating screeds are mainly installed in apartments and offices, where the loads are not heavy and sudden.
- the present invention avoids the disadvantages of the prior art. It is the object of the present invention to provide a simply constructed and inexpensive to produce vibrating floor which is characterized by a long service life and high effectiveness.
- the invention consists in that the springs consist of polyurethane foam mats, that the plates are placed on the foam mats unconnected with them, and that the plates are connected to one another by a tongue and groove connection or metal clips or by an applied covering.
- Such a vibrating floor has a very long service life. Because the polyurethane foam used does not lose its elasticity and dimensional stability even after several decades. The installation is extremely easy, since the panels are placed tightly and unconnected with the foam then only be connected to one another in such a way that they can expand and shrink in accordance with temperature fluctuations.
- the foam mats consist of a large number of foam flakes, preferably of different specific weights, which are pressed to form a tight layer and are connected to one another by an adhesive.
- foam mats are characterized by particularly high impact sound insulation when they are processed in this vibrating floor. Due to the different specific weight of the flakes, they obviously have special suspension properties, but have no clearly visible specific resonances.
- the polyurethane foam surface consists of sheets to be rolled out closely arranged next to one another or of plates arranged closely next to one another.
- the polyurethane foam has a specific weight of 80-180 kg / cbm.
- the foam is a polyurethane, preferably the designation VB 160, preferably with a load capacity of 120-180 kg per square meter.
- the plates are expediently made of wood material. It can be chipboard, blockboard, but also wooden planks and boards that are simply placed on the foam surfaces and then connected to each other by an applied covering.
- Such a vibrating floor is easy to manufacture. It is characterized by high effectiveness and has a long service life.
- the foam is a polyurethane, which preferably has a load capacity of 120-180 kg per square meter. But other, durable, dimensionally stable plastic foams can also be used here.
- the covering is a parquet, a chopstick parquet, a carpet or a plastic or rubber covering, which is expediently firmly glued to the boards or planks.
- Foam slabs 2 or foam mats are placed on the sub-floor 1, for example a concrete slab or concrete ceiling. These preferably consist of polyurethane of the designation VB 160 and have a load capacity of 160 - 180 kg per square meter. On these foam panels 2, panels 3 made of wood material or wooden planks 4 are placed, which are connected to one another by a firmly bonded covering 5. This covering 5 can consist of parquet, chopsticks, carpeting or a plastic or rubber covering.
- the plates or planks are provided with grooves 6 on their underside. These grooves 6 improve the suspension properties and secure the immovable position of the plates.
- the foam sheet 2 is made from a variety of foam flakes 7, 8, 9 of different specific weights. During the production of this foam sheet, the flakes are provided with an adhesive on the surface, then pressed and cut to the required thickness after the adhesive has hardened. The flakes are made of open-cell foam per se, but are largely closed in their porosity by the adhesive at the adhesive points. The different specific weights of the flakes mean that they can be compressed to different degrees under loads. As a result, considerable flexing work is done within the mat under dynamic loads, which is conducive to damping vibrations.
- This vibrating floor can be used in gyms, restaurants, bowling alleys, billiard halls, but also in factories, aircraft hangars and the like. It can just as well be used in residential construction instead of the floating screeds previously used there, where it is easier to manufacture and can be entered immediately after laying.
- the polyurethane foam sheets or mats are expediently made from waste pieces which have previously been torn into flakes and then pressed with adhesive to form the sheets or bodies from which the sheets are cut. What is special about this is that mats or panels made from waste have an even more favorable impact sound insulation than original panels or mats. In this way, it is possible to reuse plastic waste made of polyurethane foam for permanent use.
- Polyurethane is expediently again used as the adhesive for gluing the polyurethane foam flakes together, the polyurethane foam flakes being coated with this adhesive as far as possible over their entire surface, which can take place in large rotating drums from which the foam flakes provided with adhesive are made before the end of the service life of the adhesive are poured into a mold in which they are held under pressure and expediently also under heat until the end of the service life of the adhesive, that is to say until the end of the bonding process.
- the essence of the present invention consists in the use of different specific weights made of polyurethane foam curls by gluing under pressure sheets or mats as a base under screeds and other floor panels. These are expediently placed loosely, that is to say without gluing, on the base made of these plates or mats and are only fastened to one another against lateral displacement.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 4 eine Ansicht eines Teiles einer Polyurethan-Schaumstoffmatte.
