Definitions
- the invention relates to a rotor nozzle for a high-pressure cleaning device, having a central inlet opening for cleaning liquid in a housing which encloses a collecting space for the cleaning liquid and a rotor rotatably mounted therein with a paddle wheel which is rotated by the cleaning liquid and a nozzle arranged downstream, whose outflow axis is inclined to the central axis of the rotor nozzle and whose outflow jet of the cleaning liquid rotates on a conical jacket, the nozzle body receiving the nozzle being rotatably or oscillatably mounted centrally in the housing at the front end.
- Such a rotor nozzle is known from EP-A-0252261, wherein the cleaning liquid entering through the central inlet opening is first passed through flow channels to a blade wheel of a turbine body and thereby drives a rotor which is fixed radially and axially on a central bearing journal. After leaving the blades of the turbine body, the pressurized cleaning fluid enters a collecting space and flows through inflow openings into a nozzle and then out of the rotor nozzle in the shape of a cone shell.
- the nozzle is mounted in a stilt, which is supported at its front end in an open pan bearing, while the rear end of the stilt-like nozzle body is mounted in an eccentric driving pan of the rotor driven by the paddle wheel.
- Another rotor nozzle is known from DE-U-88 01 793, in which the incoming cleaning liquid is deflected by means of a guide ring onto a running ring which is designed in the manner of a Francis turbine.
- the rotating body which is mounted centrally on an axis fastened by a support plate with openings, drives a nozzle body via an eccentric in order to achieve an oscillating movement path of the nozzle body and thus of the outflow jet.
- the running ring has a dividing wall, so that a brake gap is formed which is intended to limit the turbine speed at high fluid pressure.
- a water outlet nozzle for sanitary tubs is also known, the rotatable nozzle body of which has inclined guide vanes in the region of the nozzle opening, which run around the central axis.
- the outflow speed and the outflow pressure are, however, so low that this nozzle cannot be used for high-pressure cleaners.
- the invention has for its object to provide a generic rotor nozzle with significantly reduced construction costs.
- compact dimensions and safe operating behavior are to be achieved.
- the paddle wheel can orbit the central inlet opening or its inflow nozzle, a portion of the paddle wheel, at least one paddle, being acted upon directly by hydraulic fluid.
- the elimination of deflection bodies results in a reduction in the construction effort and the overall length of the rotor nozzle.
- the rotor carrying the impeller and the nozzle body containing the nozzle can now be formed in one piece, since they have a common axis of rotation.
- there is a further simplification by eliminating the previously required bearing points between the rotor and the nozzle body.
- the nozzle or its nozzle tube can be rotatably mounted in the nozzle body, so that the inlet opening nozzle essentially only carries out a pendulum movement in its front pan bearing and the wear-intensive rotary movement is practically eliminated.
- there is a further reduction in the overall length of the rotor nozzle since the inlet opening to the nozzle can be arranged behind the impeller.
- the connection in series - in the direction of flow - of the deflector, paddle wheel, inflow opening to the nozzle had to be strictly observed.
- the nozzle body / rotor unit is mounted next to the front central self-aligning bearing in the rear area by means of a support bearing on the inside of the housing, so that no further bearing seats or journals have to be manufactured.
- the rotor nozzle thus only contains two simple bearings, whereas in the conventional design separate bearing journals, radial and axial bearings and carrier plates had to be provided for the bearings.
- this rear bearing of the rotor can be made simpler compared to the prior art, since it does not perform any wobble or pendulum movement in addition to the rotational movement, so that it wears considerably less.
- the blades of the impeller pass directly past the outlet opening of the central inflow nozzle, so that the rotor nozzle has a very short overall length.
- the nozzle itself can be inclined with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotor or the nozzle body, so that there is an oscillating path of movement of the cleaning jet (so-called pendulum nozzle). Due to the freely selectable inclination of the nozzle in relation to the axis of rotation of the rotor in connection with the choice of the reduction ratio, a wide variety of spray patterns of the cleaning jet are possible in a modification of the cone-shaped spray pattern with the same axis design. For example, a linear spray pattern can be achieved at a double angle between the outflow axis of the nozzle and the central axis compared to the angle of the axis of rotation.
- any ellipsoid up to a circular spray pattern can be achieved by changing the angle of inclination of the nozzle and / or transmission ratio. If the outflow axis of the nozzle lies between the axis of rotation and the central axis, a circular spray pattern can be achieved, a superimposed circular movement taking place within the circular ring.
- a rosette-like spray pattern is particularly suitable, for example, for car figs for use in car washes, since the circular ring itself is cleaned intensively, while the central area of the hub is hardly acted on.
- the above-mentioned advantageous embodiment with a gear ratio can, in the context of the manufacturing simplification, be formed in one piece with the already existing parts, namely the rotor or the housing as an integral part.
- the central inflow opening directed towards the impeller makes it possible in a particularly advantageous manner to regulate the speed by varying the amount of cleaning liquid which flows against the impeller.
- Bypass openings can be opened or closed more or less by screwing in or out, so that the rotor can be easily adjusted.
- speed adjustments were only possible in a complicated manner, or the pressure of the cleaning liquid had to be adjusted for this.
- the rotor nozzle 1 shows a rotor nozzle 1 in a first embodiment.
- the rotor nozzle 1 has a central inlet opening 2, which opens out in the form of an inflow nozzle 2a into a collecting space 4, which is enclosed by a housing 3.
- a rotor 5 rotates.
- This rotor 5 carries a paddle wheel 6, the diameter of which is dimensioned such that at least one of the blades is arranged continuously in the exit jet of the central inlet opening 2.
- a nozzle 7 with a nozzle tube 7a which is arranged in a nozzle body 8 via an axial bearing collar 18 and a radial bearing 19 and has an outflow axis b.
- the outflow axis b of the nozzle 7 and the axis of rotation c of the rotor 5 match.
- the nozzle body 8 or the nozzle 7 inserted therein is pivotally mounted at its front end in a pan bearing 9.
- the nozzle body 8 and the rotor 5 are formed here as a one-piece unit and, in addition to the front pan bearing 9, are supported in a further bearing 10 which is supported on the inside of the housing 3.
- the supporting bearing 10 can also be designed as a particularly simple stationary bearing ring arranged in the housing 3, as indicated by 10 '.
- the impeller 6 When the impeller 6 is acted upon by the incoming cleaning liquid, the impeller 6 and thus the rotor 5 and the nozzle body 8 are set in rotation about the axis of rotation c, the impeller 6 orbiting around the central inlet opening 2, so that the impeller 6 is continuously acted upon.
- the cleaning liquid After leaving the paddle wheel 6, the cleaning liquid reaches the nozzle 7 via the collecting space 4 via a rear inflow opening 15 and emerges as a cone-shaped cleaning jet at a very high speed.
- the rotor 5 After the pressure supply has been switched off, the rotor 5 remains in its position through the bearing 10, which is supported inward in the vicinity of the inflow nozzle 2a.
- a rear pin is also sufficient, which is supported by a support surface 16 (cf. FIG. 2), as shown in the remaining figures.
- FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the rotor nozzle 1, the reference symbols being chosen the same as in FIG. 1.
- the housing 3 is surrounded by an additional protective sleeve 3a.
- the housing 3 has an internal ring gear 12, in which a gear 11 meshes the nozzle body 8 / rotor 5 unit.
- the engagement of the gear 11 in the ring gear 12 provides support for the rotor 5 towards the outside, so that the bearing 10 (see FIG. 1) can be omitted.
- the number of teeth the number of revolutions of the rotating cleaning jet can be preset depending on the application.
- FIG. 2 shows the mounting of the nozzle body 8 on the axial bearing collar 18, in order to transmit axial forces arising from the action on the paddle wheel 6 via the nozzle tube 7a to the self-aligning bearing 9, thereby sealing it.
- the nozzle tube 7a is provided with a separate nozzle head 7 which e.g. is made of ceramic for wear reasons, while the nozzle tube 7a itself, which forms the inner journal of the radial bearing 19, is preferably made of metal.
- the nozzle body 8 mounted on this radial bearing 19 is preferably produced in one piece with the gear 11, the rotor 5 and the paddle wheel 6 as an injection molded or cast part.
- the radial bearing 19 has a relatively large bearing clearance and can be separated or assembled for assembly and maintenance purposes by axially pulling (or inserting) the nozzle tube 7a into the nozzle body 8.
- the rotor 5 has a flow rectifier 20 of a known type and, on its rear end face, has a slight axial clearance, designated 17, which, when the rotor nozzle 1 is not in operation, causes the rotor 5 to be released from the self-aligning bearing 9 prevented.
- Fig. 3 shows an embodiment substantially corresponding to Fig. 2, but here the outflow axis b of the nozzle 7 is no longer identical to the axis of rotation c of the rotor 5, but is further inclined outwards as the latter. In addition to the rotational movement, this results in an additional oscillating movement of the cleaning jet.
- the nozzle 7 is in turn supported by the radial bearing 19 in the nozzle body 8 and has an inflow opening 15, which is located here towards the front end of the nozzle body 8.
- the central inlet opening 2 has a screw-in nozzle needle 2b which can be screwed more or less into the inlet opening 2 in accordance with the arrow indicated.
- the nozzle needle 2b When unscrewing, here to the right, the nozzle needle 2b releases an annular gap, here in the form of a conical seat 13, so that the cleaning liquid can enter the collecting space 4 via bypass holes 14 and this conical seat without impinging on the paddle wheel 6.
- This flow control of the amount of cleaning liquid enables the rotor 5 to be adjusted in speed.
- FIG. 4 the circulation diagram of the rotor 5 or nozzle body 8 is shown in a clockwise direction, the nozzle body 8 being cut according to the sectional plane A, but the gear 11 and the ring gear 12 are also shown in the sectional plane B.
- the position (1) in FIG. 4 corresponds to the position of the nozzle body 8 in FIG. 3.
- the inflow opening 15 is an ellipse due to the downward inclined position.
- position (2) the nozzle body 8 is rotated through 90 °, the inflow opening 15 assumes the now central position, which is designated 15 ⁇ .
- the position assumed in position (1) and in Fig. 3 is indicated by the reference numeral 15 '.
- the position of the inflow opening 15 assumed in position (3) after a rotation of 180 ° is denoted by the reference symbol 15 ′′′ indicated.
- position (4) after a rotation of 270 ° the inflow opening again assumes the central position according to position (2).
- the movement path of the inflow opening 15 is shown in broken lines.
- the inflow opening 15 moves at the transition from 15 'to 15 ⁇ and 15 ′′′ and back to position 1 in a vertical path. This rectilinear movement out of the uniform rotary movement is particularly advantageous for certain cleaning purposes and a secondary image 4a is shown again.
- the outflow axis b can also be arranged between the axis of rotation c and the central axis a, so that an annular spray pattern (see FIG. 4b) results, with a self-rotation within the circular ring similar to an involute rolling motion.
- the number of self-rotations during a revolution is determined by the reduction ratio of the number of teeth of the ring gear 12 to that of the gear 11 and can be set within wide limits.
- the reduction ratio would be 4 and a rosette-like spray pattern with four "leaves” would result, which would be particularly suitable, for example, for cleaning car rims.
- the most varied spray patterns can be achieved by adjusting the nozzle body or exchanging nozzles with different outflow axes, in adaptation to the respective cleaning purpose.
- FIG. 5 and 6 show particularly simple designs of the rotor nozzle 1, the nozzle body 7a being rigidly arranged in the rotor 7, e.g. B. is pressed or poured.
- Fig. 5 shows the bearing 10 ', which was already indicated in Fig. 1 as an alternative to the inlet-side bearing 10.
- the bearing 10 is arranged between the impeller 6 and the nozzle 7 and is thereby formed by the conical inside of the housing 3, on which the outer surface of the rotor 5 is supported and rolled during its orbital movement.
- the bearing surface 10 ' extends from the paddle wheel 6 to close to the nozzle 7, so that there is a large support surface to the outside.
- the rotor 5 is supported inwards towards the central axis a by the conical support surface 16 provided on the outside of the inflow nozzle 2a, so that the rotor 5 is rotatably fixed between these two bearing or support surfaces 10 'and 16.
- the bearing ring 10 is inserted into the housing 3 here by a screw part 3 b which can be screwed into the housing 3 and which contains the inlet opening 2. If necessary, the bearing ring 10 is thus easy to replace and to manufacture from material which is particularly suitable for the rolling motion of the rear journal of the rotor 5 which contains the inflow opening 15.
- the bearing ring 10 can be made of steel or a high-quality plastic, while the housing 3 is formed from inexpensive plastic.
