Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Tränken oder Beschichten von Gegenständen unter intermittierendem Hindurchführen der Gegenstände durch eine Tränk- oder Beschichtungszone (2), einen Trocknungs- und/oder Härtungsofen (5a,5b) und eine Kühlzone (6), Eintauchen oder Überfluten der Gegenstände in der Tränk- oder Beschichtungszone (2) in das bzw. durch das flüssige Tränkungs- bzw. Beschichtungsmittel und thermischer Nachverbrennung organischer Bestandteile in der Abluft des Trocknungs- und Härtungsofens (5a,5b) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Gegenstände unmittelbar nacheinander durch eine Einlaßschleuse (1), die Tränk- oder Beschichtungszone, wenigstens eine Abtropf- und Vorwärmzone (3) und (4), den Trocknungs- und/oder Härtungsofen, wenigstens eine Kühlzone (6) und eine Auslaßschleuse (8) führt, wenigstens einen Teil der Zuluft in eine der Kühlzonen einführt und wenigstens einen Teil der in die Kühlzone (6) eingeführten Luft über die Auslaßschleuse (8) gehen läßt, eien Luftstrom von der Kühlzone (6) über den Trocknungs- und/oder Härtungsofen (5) zu der thermischen Nachverbrennung führt und einen Teil der Abwärme der thermischen Nachverbrennung auf den Inhalt des Trocknungs- und/oder Härtungsofens überträgt, wobei die Einlaß- und Auslaßschleusen zwischen zwei im wesentlichen gasdicht verschließbaren Türen angeordnete Zonen sind. Die Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens hat Einrichtungen hierfür.
