Definitions

  • the invention relates to a Roman blind according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a Roman blind of the type mentioned, which avoids these difficulties and which is still easy to install and reliable.
  • inventive venetian blind is particularly suitable for inclined windows.
  • the diameter is not limited to the distance between the curtain and the window and can be much larger and accordingly the curtain can be longer. Damage to the curtain material due to tangential stripes on the winding rollers is avoided in the inventive venetian blind. Separate pillow blocks are unnecessary in terms of assembly and the inventory is simplified considerably.
  • a braking device is created in a structurally simple manner, by means of which the curtain is automatically locked in any desired intermediate position.
  • a roman blind is created, which eliminates the need for an additional braking device and with which, due to the ratio of the worm gear, even heavy curtains can be pulled up with little effort.
  • a self-locking worm gear is arranged between the drive member and the winding shaft.
  • the gears between the winding rollers and the winding shaft can be conventional inexpensive gears without self-locking.
  • a drive wheel is preferably mounted such that its axis of rotation is perpendicular to the winding shaft, so that there is an arrangement similar to that of the winding rollers.
  • Fig. 1 shows a vertically hanging curtain fabric 8, on which a weight profile 9 is attached.
  • the axes of the winding rolls 3 are arranged horizontally and at right angles to a winding shaft 2 which is connected to a drive wheel 12 which can be driven by means of a ball chain.
  • the winding shaft 2 is arranged horizontally and in the case of a Roman blind for an oblique window, it is inclined.
  • a curtain rail 1 runs parallel to the winding shaft 2 and is attached in the usual way to the ceiling, the wall or the window.
  • the curtain fabric 8 is detachably fastened to this curtain rail 1 by means of pile and chain band 28.
  • the ball chain 10 is pulled, in the case of the Roman blind for an oblique window below the drive wheel 12 a guide roller 11 is attached.
  • the elevator belts 6 are wound onto the winding rollers 3 and the curtain is pulled up, while in the other pulling direction the elevator belts 6 are unwound synchronously and the curtain is lowered. As explained in more detail below, the curtain stops automatically in any position after the ball chain is released.
  • the winding rollers 3 are each mounted in a housing which essentially consists of a housing body 13 and two covers 14 and 15 which are detachably placed on them.
  • a housing body 13 On the housing body 13 two spaced brackets are integrally formed, which are detachably inserted in the curtain rail 1 and slidably in the longitudinal direction.
  • the housing body 13 has a vertical wall 32 which divides the housing into two chambers 30 and 31.
  • the winding roll 3 with the tape roll 19 is accommodated in the chamber 30.
  • the chamber 30 also has one Detachably attached lid 15, which has on the inside a projection 22 which engages in the winding roller 3 and guides it.
  • the winding roll 3 is formed on a worm wheel 4, which is mounted in an opening 16 of the wall 32 and with a bearing pin 24 in an opening 33 of a further cover 14.
  • the teeth 18 of the worm wheel 4 mesh with a worm 5 which is mounted on the housing part 13 and on the cover 14.
  • the worm wheel 5 is connected to the winding shaft 2 in a rotationally fixed and displaceable manner in the longitudinal direction. It is often necessary to tension a wrap 19 or to loosen something so that all the straps 6 pull the curtain fabric 8 up exactly in sync. This can be achieved in a simple manner by pulling the worm wheel 4 out of the chamber 31 with the cover 15 removed on the winding roller 3 and rotating it in one or the other direction in the uncoupled state, and thus adjusting the slot 34.
  • a venetian blind is obtained which, despite the considerable advantages, clearly has relatively few, robust and simple components and which, when used as a venetian blind for an oblique window or very tall window, also meets the practical requirements, including very gentle treatment of the curtain fabric, in an excellent manner Wise account and who is also cheap in production and very reliable in operation.
  • the gear ratio of the worm gear is selected so that the elevator is self-locking, taking into account the friction of the moving parts. If the worm 5 is made of nylon and the worm wheel 4 is made of Delrin, self-locking with a ratio of about 1: 4.2 is achieved. Without friction, the gear ratio would have to be about 1: 6 for self-locking to occur. It has been shown that a gear ratio of approximately 1: 4 is advantageous for a Roman blind. On the one hand, heavy curtains can be operated with little effort and, on the other hand, the gear ratio is not so great that the curtain moves too slowly.
  • the self-locking effect means that the curtain stops immediately in the position reached when the ball chain is released, even in any intermediate position. In particular, this prevents the weight profile 9 from whizzing downward when the ball chain 10 is released unintentionally and injuring a person or damaging the curtain.
  • the lid 14 is detachably attached to the housing body 13 by means of a snap device 20.
  • the cover 15 is also attached to the housing body 13 with a similar snap device.
  • the take-up roll 3 is enclosed in the housing and is not otherwise rotating There are parts that line the curtain fabric and could damage it. Since the housing body 13 is continuously displaceable on the winding shaft 2, it is possible in any case to bring the slot 21 exactly on the line of the eyelets 7. In the selected position, the housing body 13 can then always be attached to the curtain rail 1.
  • the gears between the winding rollers and the winding shaft are conventional cross gears without self-locking.
  • the drive roller 12 is connected to the winding shaft via a self-locking worm gear.
  • the drive roller 12 like a winding roller, is mounted with its axis of rotation transversely to the winding shaft on the rail 1 in a housing. This version is significantly less expensive since only a worm gear is provided.
