Abstract
A Venetian blind is raised or lowered by means of a cord (8) which passes through the slats. The cord passes around a pulley mounted on the lower edge of the window frame and the ends of the cord are wound onto different parts of a common drum (12). The drum has an external screw thread (13) which forms a guide groove for the cord (8). The ends (80,81) of the cord are wound onto the drum in opposite directions, so that as one end is wound up the other end is payed out. The blind is thus pulled down as well as pulled up. The blind can be used with sloping windows where frictional contact between blind and window hinders the free descent of the blind. USE - Venetian blind.
Description
BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a blind according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such blinds are known as pleated, fabric or slat blinds. What they have in common is that they can be driven by motor or manually for lifting and lowering against or with the force of gravity.
If such a blind is to be arranged parallel to a window surface with an inclination of less than 600, there is a risk that the blind cannot be lowered without problems because of the reduced gravity effect and the increased friction. In order to remedy this disadvantage, it is therefore known to pull out the blinds by means of a manual cord pull (to lower them) and to lift them with the conventional drive device.
The object of the present invention is to improve a blind of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be raised or lowered with the drive acting on the elevator drum, regardless of the inclination of its extension level.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the attached schematic drawing. Show it:
1 is a front view of a window opening, which is almost half dimmed from a folding blind,
Fig. 2 is a side view of Fig. 1 in the direction of arrow II in Fig. 1 and
Fig. 3 lasting i) detail III in Fig. 1, the upper box wall having broken away.
On the upper crosspiece 1 of a fixed frame 2, a gear box 3 is attached, which extends over the entire window frame width. On the lower box wall 4, the uppermost lamella 5 of a folding lamella blind 6 which extends over the width of the window and is dimensioned with respect to its length so that it can be pulled out over the entire window surface. Two pairs of holes 7, 7 'are arranged on each lamella, through which the strand 80, 80' of a strand 8, 8 'is pulled. On the lower crosspiece 9 of the window frame 2, two freely rotatable deflection rollers 10, 10 'are mounted, around which the associated strands 8, 8' are guided. The second strand 81, 81 'of the strand 8 or 8' is guided above or below the slatted blind 6 to the gear box 3.
However, there is also the possibility of pulling the second strand 81, 81 'through the pairs of holes 7, 7' through analog holes through the slats. The lowermost lamella 10 of the folding lamella blind 6 is firmly connected at 11 to the first run 8 or 8 'of the strand 8 or 8'.
The ends of the strands 8 and 8 'are each fastened to an elevator drum 12 arranged in the gearbox 3, as is described for the strand 8 with reference to FIG. 3. For each strand 8, 8 'there is an elevator drum 12 in the gearbox 3, which is preferably axially aligned, but at least axially parallel. The elevator drum 12 is provided with an external thread 13 and rotatably mounted in a threaded nut 14 which is firmly connected to the gear box 3.
At the same time, the elevator drums 12 are axially displaceable but non-rotatably on a cross-shaped shaft, which can be driven manually or by a motor. If the shaft 15 is rotated, the elevator drum 12 also rotates and, depending on the direction of rotation in the nut 14 (and thus on the shaft 15), shifts to the left or right. The two ends of the strand 8 are fastened on opposite sides of the nut 14 by means of screws 16 and 17 to the Aufrugdrommel 12 and looped around it with the same pitch and pitch as the thread 13, the one end of the strand (in Fig. 3 left) in Clockwise and the other end of the strand (right in Fig. 3) is wound counterclockwise.
The length of the section (or sections) of the strand 8 which is wound helically around the elevator drum 12 must be at least equal to the entire displacement path of the folding blind between the raised or lowered state. When the blind is completely lowered, the first strand 80 is unwound from the right side of the elevator drum 12 and the second strand 81 is wound up on the left side. When the blind is fully raised, the second strand 81 is unwound and the first (80) is wound up.
The height of the passage opening 18 through the box wall is generally chosen such that the strand 80 can be pulled straight away from the elevator drum 12 through the hole pairs 7 to the deflection roller 10, whereas the position of the passage opening 19 from the return flow of the second strand 81 depends, which may lie above or below the slats or be passed through them. Depending on the position of the passage opening 19, a deflection roller 20 is recommended in the gearbox.
