- the invention relates to a case hinge consisting, on the one hand, of a hinge pin and, on the other hand, of a hollow cylinder for the releasable connection of an upper case part and a lower case part, the pin being provided with a circumferential groove to form a latching edge and the hollow cylinder being provided with a resilient latching lug which is connected to the groove rotatably and axially releasably engaged when the bolt is in the hollow cylinder.
- Such hinges are often used on equipment or tool cases. Since both the lower part of the case and the upper part of the case can hold the contents of the case equally, it proves to be expedient that the two case parts can be separated from one another when using the devices / tools.
