Abstract

Der obere Behälterrand (12) eines ebenso wie der Deckel (11) aus Kunststoff gefertigten Behälters, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, (10) wird aus zwei Schenkeln (13, 14) gebildet, welche in einer nach oben weisenden Spitze (15) zusammenlaufen und die gleichsinnig oder ungleichsinnig gegenüber der Lotrechten geneigt sind. Im Übergangsbereich zwischen dem inneren Schenkel (13) und der Behälterwandung (16) ist eine zur Behälterinnenseite hin offene, umlaufende Nut (17) vorgesehen. Der Deckel (11) weist einen Verschlußschenkel (18) sowie einen sich daran anschließenden und in die Deckelwandung (21) übergehenden Auflageschenkel (20) auf. Verschlußschenkel (18) und Auflageschenkel (20) liegen auf den Schenkeln (14,13) des Behälterrandes (12) dichtend auf. Durch einen Raststeg (19) einerseits und einer Wulst (22) andererseits wird eine Verrastung des Deckels (11) gegenüber dem äußeren Schenkel (14) bzw. innerhalb der Nut oder Rille (17) bewirkt.

Description

  • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen aus Kunststoff gefertigten Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, mit ebenfalls aus Kunststoff gefertigtem Deckel, der auf den oberen Behälterrand abdichtend aufsetzbar ist.
  • Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedosen,der vorer­wähnten Art sind in verschiedenen Ausführungsformen be­kannt.
  • Bei derartigen Behältern, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhalte­dosen, kommt es u.a. darauf an, einen möglichst dichten Abschluß durch den Deckel zu erreichen. Weiterhin ist man bemüht, derartige Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhal­tedosen,möglichst leicht zu bauen, d.h., diese relativ dünnwandig zu gestalten. Dies hat allerdings wieder die unangenehme Folge, daß ein praktisch dichter Abschluß durch den Deckel erschwert wird.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, der gattungsgemäßen Art zu schaffen, der sich insbesondere dadurch auszeichnet, daß ein dichter Abschluß durch den Deckel praktisch ausschließlich durch die Gestaltung des Behälterrandes und des entsprechenden Deckelrandes ge­währleistet ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der obere Behälterrand aus zwei in einer nach oben wei­senden Spitze zusammenlaufenden, gegenüber der Lotrech­ten gleichsinnig oder ungleichsinnig geneigten Schenkeln gebildet ist, von denen einer in die Behälterwandung übergeht und der andere von der Behälterwandung abge­wandt und nach unten gerichtet ist, wobei im Übergangs­bereich zwischen der Behälterwandung und dem sich daran anschließenden Schenkel eine zum Behälterinneren hin offe­ne und vollständig umlaufende Nut oder Rille vorgesehen ist, und daß der Deckel in seinem Randbereich mit einem umlaufenden Verschlußschenkel versehen ist, welcher in Schließstellung auf dem äußeren Steg des Behälterrandes aufliegt und zumindest im Bereich der Spitze des Behäl­terrandes abgestützt ist.
  • Durch eine derartige Konstruktion wird der Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, im Behälterrand-Bereich auch bei dünnwandiger Ausführung äußerst formstabil und eigensteif und durch den mindestens auf dem äußeren Steg des Behälterrandes aufliegenden Verschlußschenkel des Deckels wird eine relativ große und damit hohe Dichtig­keit gewährleistende Überdeckung zwischen dem Behälter­ rand selbst und dem Deckel erzielt.
  • Nach einer Weiterbildung des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist vorgesehen, daß sich an den Verschlußschenkel des Deckels ein im Schließzustand auf dem in die Behälterwandung über­gehenden Steg des Behälterrandes aufliegender und in die Deckelwandung übergehender Auflageschenkel anschließt.
  • Durch diesen zusätzlichen Auflageschenkel wird eine wei­tere Dichtfläche zwischen Behälterrand und Deckel und da­mit eine weitere Verbesserung der Abdichtung im Schließ­zustand erreicht.
  • Eine Weiterbildung der Erfindung sieht vor, daß der Ver­schlußschenkel den äußeren Schenkel des Behälterrandes nach unten überragt und einen das freie Ende des äußeren Schenkels untergreifenden Raststeg aufweist.
  • Hierdurch wird eine einfach herstellbare Verrastung zwi­schen Deckel und Behälterrand bewirkt.
  • Eine derartige Verrastung kann auch - gegebenenfalls auch noch zusätzlich - dadurch bewirkt werden, daß im Über­gangsbereich zwischen der Deckelwandung und dem Auflage­schenkel eine in die Nut oder Rille einschnäppbare Wulst vorgesehen ist.
  • Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind in den beigefüg­ten Zeichnungen dargestellt und werden im folgenden näher beschrieben. Es zeigen:
    • Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch einen erfindungs­gemäßen Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frisch­haltedose, mit aufgesetztem Deckel
    • Fig. 2-5 Schnittdarstellungen durch den Randbereich der Behälter, z.B. von Gefrier- oder Frisch­haltedosen, nach weiteren Ausführungsbei­spielen der Erfindung.
  • Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, (10) ist ebenso wie der mit dem Bezugs­zeichen 11 versehene Deckel aus Kunststoff gefertigt.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist abdichtend auf den oberen Behälterrand 12 aufsetzbar.
  • Dieser obere Behälterrand 12 wird aus zwei Schenkeln 13 und 14 gebildet, welche in einer nach oben weisenden Spit­ze 15 zusammenlaufen und gegenüber der Lotrechten gleich­sinnig oder ungleichsinnig geneigt verlaufen können.
  • Der mit dem Bezugszeichen 13 versehene Schenkel geht in die Behälterwandung 16 über, während der mit dem Bezugs­zeichen 14 versehene, äußere Schenkel von der Behälter­wandung 16 abgewandt und nach unten gerichtet ist.
  • Im Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Schenkel 13 und der Be­hälterwandung 16 ist eine Nut oder Rille 17 vorgesehen, die zum Behälterinneren hin offen ist und im Behälter­ randbereich 12 vollständig umläuft.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist in seinem Randbereich mit einem Ver­schlußschenkel 18 ausgestattet, welcher auf dem äußeren Schenkel 14 des Behälterrandes 12 aufliegt. Der Ver­schlußschenkel 18 überragt den äußeren Schenkel 14 des Behälterrandes 12 nach unten und ist in diesem Bereich mit einem den äußeren Schenkel 14 untergreifenden Raststeg 19 ausgestattet.
  • An den Verschlußschenkel 18 schließt sich ein Auflage­schenkel 20 an, der bei aufgesetztem Deckel auf dem Inne­ren, in die Behälterwandung 16 übergehenden Schenkel 13 des Behälterrandes 12 aufliegt.
  • Der Auflageschenkel 20 geht wiederum in die Deckelwandung 21 über und im Übergangsbereich ist eine Wulst 22 vorge­sehen, die in die schon erwähnte Nut oder Rille 17 ein­schnäppbar ist.
  • Bei den Ausführungsbeispielen der Erfindung nach den Fig. 2 bis 5 ist die Konstruktion des Behälterrandes 12 exakt die gleiche wie bei dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Ausfüh­rungsbeispiel, lediglich die Gestaltung des Deckelrandes ist hiervon abweichend, so daß im folgenden insbesondere auf die unterschiedlichen Konstruktionen des Deckelrandes eingegangen wird.
  • So ist beim Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 2 zur Verbesse­rung der Festlegung des Deckels 11 am oberen Behälter­ rand 12 lediglich im Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Aufla­geschenkel 20 und der Deckelwandung 21 eine Wulst 22 vor­gesehen, die in die Nut oder Rille 17 des Deckelrandes 12 einschnäppbar ist. Der Verschlußschenkel 18 des Deckel­randes hingegen liegt lediglich auf dem äußeren Schenkel 14 des oberen Behälterrandes auf, ohne hier zusätzlich fixiert zu sein.
  • Beim Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 3 ist der Deckel 11 ausschließlich mit einem Verschlußschenkel 18 versehen, der auf dem äußeren Schenkel 14 des oberen Behälterrandes 12 abdichtend aufliegt. Durch einen Absatz 23 zwischen dem Verschlußschenkel 18 und der Deckelwandung 23 wird bewirkt, daß der Verschlußschenkel 18 im Bereich der Spitze 15 des oberen Behälterrandes 12 abgestützt ist, so daß der Deckel 11 nur bis zu einem vorbestimmten Maß auf den oberen Behälterrand 12 aufgedrückt werden kann. Die Gefahr der Beschädigung des Deckels 11 in seinem Randbereich ist dadurch vermieden. Auch bei dieser rela­tiv einfachen Deckelkonstruktion ist eine hohe Abdichtung gewährleistet, da sich durch den auf dem äußeren Schen­kel 14 aufliegenden Verschlußschenkel 18 eine große Dicht­fläche ergibt.
  • Beim Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 4 ist auf eine kraft- und/oder formschlüssige Verbindung im Sinne der Ausfüh­rungsbeispiele nach den Fig. 1 und 2 verzichtet worden, der Deckel 11 ist aber wiederum mit einem äußeren Ver­schlußschenkel 18 und einem sich daran anschließenden Auflageschenkel 20 versehen, wobei der äußere Verschluß­ schenkel 18 in nun beschriebener Art und Weise auf dem äußeren Steg 14 und der Auflageschenkel 20 auf dem inne­ren Schenkel 13 des oberen Behälterrandes 12 abdichtend aufliegt.
  • In Fig. 5 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dar­gestellt, bei dem der Verschlußschenkel 18 des Deckels 11 den äußeren Schenkel 14 des oberen Behälterrandes 12 wie­der nach unten überragt und in diesem Bereich mit einem einstückig angeformten Raststeg 19 versehen ist, welcher das freie Ende des äußeren Schenkels 14 untergreift. Durch einen Absatz 23 im Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Verschlußschenkel 18 und der Deckelwandung 21 wird wie­derum eine einwandfreie Lagesicherung des Deckels 11 be­züglich des oberen Behälterrandes 12 gewährleistet.
  • Die dargestellten und beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung lassen erkennen, daß bei gleichbleibender Gestaltung des oberen Behälterrandes 12 vielfältige Mög­lichkeiten bestehen, je nach Anforderung oder nach Ein­satzzweck unterschiedlich gestaltete Deckelkonstruktio­nen zu verwenden. Dabei wird man in der Praxis zweifellos die jeweils vorgesehenen Anwendungsfälle berücksichtigen und bezüglich der Deckelkonstruktion für eine mehr oder minder sichere Fixierung des Deckels 11 gegenüber dem oberen Behälterrand 12 Sorge tragen.

Claims (4)

1. Aus Kunststoff gefertigte Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose,mit ebenfalls aus Kunststoff ge­fertigtem Deckel, der auf den oberen Behälterrand ab­dichtend aufsetzbar ist, dadurch ge­kennzeichnet, daß der obere Behälter­rand (12) aus zwei in einer nach oben weisenden Spit­ze (15) zusammenlaufenden, gegenüber der Lotrechten gleichsinnig oder ungleichsinnig geneigten Schenkeln (13,14) gebildet ist, von denen einer (13) in die Behälterwandung (16) übergeht und der andere (14) von der Behälterwandung (16) abgewandt und nach unten ge­richtet ist, wobei im Übergangsbereich zwischen der Behälterwandung (16) und dem sich daran anschließen­den Schenkel (13) eine zum Behälterinneren hin offene und vollständig umlaufende Nut oder Rille (17) vor­gesehen ist, und daß der Deckel (11) in seinem Rand­bereich mit einem umlaufenden Verschlußschenkel (18) versehen ist, welcher in Schließstellung auf dem äußeren Steg (14) des Behälterrandes aufliegt und zumindest im Bereich der Spitze (15) des Behälter­randes (12) abgestützt ist.
2. Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich an den Verschlußschenkel (18) des Deckels (11) ein im Schließzustand auf dem in die Dosenwandung (16) über­gehenden Schenkel (13) des Behälterrandes (12) auf­liegender und in die Deckelwandung (21) übergehender Auflageschenkel (20) anschließt.
3. Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verschlußschenkel (18) den äußeren Schenkel (14) des Behälterrandes (12) nach unten überragt und einen das freie Ende des äußeren Schenkels (14) untergrei­fenden Raststeg (19) aufweist.
4. Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Übergangsbereich zwischen der Deckelwandung (21) und dem Auflageschenkel (20) eine in die Nut oder Rille (17) einschnäppbare Wulst (22) vorgesehen ist.
