Description

  • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen aus Kunststoff gefertigten Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches.
  • Bei derartigen Behältern, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedosen, kommt es u.a. darauf an, einen möglichst dichten Abschluß durch den Deckel zu erreichen. Weiterhin ist man bemüht, derartige Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedosen, möglichst leicht zu bauen, d.h., diese relativ dünnwandig zu gestalten. Dies hat allerdings die unangenehme Folge, daß ein praktisch dichter Abschluß durch den Deckel erschwert wird.
  • Ein Behälter mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Patentanspruches ist aus der EP-A-232 036 bekannt.
  • Bei der dort beschriebenen Konstruktion ist der äußere Schenkel des Behälterrandes bei noch nicht aufgesetztem Deckel gegenüber der Horizontalen weit weniger stark geneigt als der entsprechende Schenkel des Deckels selbst. Der Deckel ist erheblich stabiler als der Behälterrand, wodurch beim Aufsetzen des Deckels auf den Behälterrand der äußere Schenkel unter Spannung verformt wird. Hierdurch soll die Dichtigkeit des oberen Abschlußrandes von Behälter und Deckel erzielt werden. Der äußere Behälterrand wird dann von einem umlaufenden Raststeg untergriffen.
  • Ein Öffnen dieses Behälters ist zumindest nicht ohne weiteres möglich, da der äußere Schenkel des Behälters unter erheblicher Spannung steht. Unabhängig davon, ob für das Öffnen dieses Behälters der Deckel im Randbereich zerstört werden muß oder nicht, wird der Deckel zumindest soweit deformiert werden müssen, daß ein sicheres und dauerndes Wiederverschließen dieses Behälters mit dem gleichen Deckel nicht möglich ist.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Behälter, z.B. eine Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, der gattungsgemäßen Art zu schaffen, der sich insbesondere dadurch auszeichnet, daß ein dichter Abschluß durch den Deckel auch bei dauerndem Öffnen und Schließen gewährleistet bleibt, und daß die Handhabung des Deckels beim Aufsetzen vereinfacht wird.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruches genannten Merkmale gelöst.
  • Dadurch, daß der Behälter in seinem Randbereich formstabil und eigensteif ist, und dadurch, daß der Deckel spannungsfrei auf dem Behälterrand aufliegt, wird das dauernde Öffnen und Schließen bei vereinfachter Handhabung ermöglicht. Gleichzeitig wird ein dichter Abschluß erreicht dadurch, daß die Verrastung im Bereich des äußeren Schenkels des Behälterrandes durch den Raststeg des Deckels und außerdem durch die Wulst des Deckels, die sich in eine Nut oder Rille des Behälterrandes einschnappen läßt, erfolgt.
  • Die Mittel zur Verrastung des Deckels am Behälterrand können konstruktiv so aufeinander abgestimmt werden, daß auch ein dauerndes Öffnen und Wiederverschließen ohne Zerstörung oder Beschädigung des Deckelrandbereiches ermöglicht wird.
  • Dies ist beispielsweise dann nicht möglich, wenn beim Schließen des Behälters durch Aufsetzen des Deckels der vollständig umlaufende Behälterrand beträchtlich verformt werden muß.
  • Die Zentrierung des Deckels beim Verschließen wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Randbereichs-Gestaltung sowohl des Behälters als auch des Deckels in praxisgerechter Weise vereinfacht, so daß sich eine erhebliche Handhabungserleichterung darstellt, wobei die an Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedosen gestellten Ansprüche hinsichtlich einer ausreichenden Abdichtung voll und ganz ausreichend sind.
  • Da gegenüber dem Stand der Technik der äußere Schenkel des Behälterrandes zum Öfnen des Deckels nicht mehr zerstört werden muß, bleibt eine auch im Dauergebrauch ausreichende Abdichtung erhalten.
  • Eine besonders sichere Verrastung, die auch erhöhten Ansprüchen genügt, ist dadurch gegeben, daß im Übergangsbereich des inneren Schenkels zur Behälterwandung eine zum Behälterinneren hin offene und vollständig umlaufende Nu-t oder Rille vorgesehen ist, in die eine im Übergangsbereich zwischen der Deckelwandung und dem Auflageschenkel vorgesehene Wulst einschnäppbar ist.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird in der beigefügten Zeichnung dargestellt und im folgenden näher beschrieben.
  • Es zeigt:
  • Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, mit aufgesetztem Deckel.
  • Der in der Figur dargestellte Behälter, z. B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose 10, ist ebenso wie der mit dem Bezugszeichen 11 versehene Deckel aus Kunststoff gefertigt.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist abdichtend auf den oberen Behälterrand 12 aufsetzbar.
  • Dieser obere Behälterrand 12 wird aus zwei Schenkeln 13 und 14 gebildet, welche in einer nach oben weisenden Spitze 15 zusammenlaufen und gegenüber der lotrechten gleichsinnig oder ungleichsinnig geneigt verlaufen können.
  • Der mit dem Bezugszeichen 13 versehene Schenkel geht in die Behälterwandung 16 über, während der mit dem Bezugszeichen 14 versehene, äußere Schenkel von der Behälterwandung 16 abgewandt und nach unten gerichtet ist.
  • Im Übergangsbereich zwischen dem Schenkel 13 und der Behälterwandung 16 ist eine Nut oder Rille 17 vorgesehen, die zum Behälterinneren hin offen ist und im Behälterrandbereich vollständig umläuft.
  • Der Deckel 11 ist in seinem Randbereich mit einem Verschlußschenkel 18 ausgestattet, welcher auf dem äußeren Schenkel 14 des Behälterrandes 12 aufliegt. Der Verschlußschenkel 18 überragt den äußeren Schenkel 14 des Behälterrandes 12 nach unten und ist in diesem Bereich mit einem den äußeren Schenkel 14 untergreifenden Raststeg 19 ausgestattet.
  • An den Verschlußschenkel 18 schließt sich ein Auflageschenkel 20 an, der bei aufgesetztem Deckel auf dem inneren, in die Behälterwandung 16 übergehenden Schenkel 13 des Behälterrandes 12 aufliegt.
  • Der Auflageschenkel 20 geht wiederum in die Deckelwandung 21 über und im Übergangsbereich ist eine Wulst 22 vorgesehen, die in die schon erwähnte Nut oder Rille 17 einschnappbar ist.

Claims (1)

1. Aus Kunststoff gefertigter Behälter, z.B. Gefrier- oder Frischhaltedose, mit ebenfalls aus Kunststoff gefertigtem Deckel, der auf den oberen Behälterrand aufsetzbar ist, wobei der obere Behälterrand einen gegenüber der Lotrechten geneigten, von der Behälterwand abgewandten, nach unten gerichteten und den äußeren Abschlußrand des Behälters bildenden Schenkel (14) aufweist und der Deckel in seinem Randbereich mit einem den äußeren Abschlußrand des Deckels bildenden Verschlußschenkel (18) versehen ist, welcher in Schließstellung auf dem der Behälterwand abgewandten Schenkel (14) aufliegt, zumindest im Bereich der Spitze des Behälterrandes abgestützt ist, den äußeren Schenkel des Behälterrandes nach unten überragt und einen das freie Ende des äußeren Schenkels des Behälterrandes untergreifenden Raststeg (19) aufweist, wobei sich and den äußeren Schenkel des Behälters ein weiterer, gegenüber der Lotrechten geneigter, in die Behälterwandung übergehender innerer Schenkel (13) anschließt, und sich an den Verschlußschenkel des Deckels ein im Schließzustand auf dem in die Behälterwandung übergehenden inneren Schenkel (13) des Behälterrandes aufliegender und in die Deckelwandung übergehender Auflageschenkel (20) aufschließt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der aus dem äußeren Schenkel (14) und dem inneren Schenkel (13) gebildete Behälterrand formstabil und eigensteif ist und der Deckel (11) spannungsfrei auf dem Behälterrand aufliegt und ausschließlich durch den den äußeren Schenkel (14) des Behälterrandes untergreifenden Raststeg (19) sowie durch eine in eine umlaufende, im Übergangsbereich des unmittelbar in die Behälterwandung (16) übergehenden inneren Schenkels (13) liegende und zum Behälterinneren hin offene Nut oder Rille (17) einschnappbare Wulst (22), welche im Übergangsbereich zwischen der Deckelwandung (21) und dem Auflageschenkel (20) liegt, gegenüber dem Behälter (10) verrastbar ist.
