Abstract

A closure arrangement for a rimmed container body comprises a tear- strip 9 which is an integral part of the body 1 and a cover 3 which has a turned-over lip 5 into which the margin 6 of the rim snaps: the rim 2 forms an angle of less than 60 DEG with the container wall and terminates in a flexible portion which wedges against lip 5 of the cover. Removal of tear-strip 9 does not impair sealing reclosure of the container by cover 3. <IMAGE>
