Definitions
- the invention relates to a flock yarn consisting of an advanced carrier thread with an adhesive jacket and a prepared flock that is electrostatically introduced into the jacket.
- the flock is all around and essentially radial on the carrier thread / jacket.
- the well-known, frequently used flock yarn consists of a carrier thread made of polyamide and polyamide flock because of the good performance properties of the polyamide.
- Flockgarn is published in 7th boarding school after the essay "Aufban, Eigenschapten Zrbeitung und Einsztz with" by G. Lenards. Flock seminar 27-29 Sept. 1982, Aut PS 291907 known.
- the elastomeric core thread can be wrapped by at least one winding thread.
- the wrapping thread made of polyamide, polyester or polyacrylic can limit the stretchability of the core thread with the adhesive layer and increase the tearability of the flock yarn.
- a composite yarn is known from FR-A-20 57 698. It consists of a spun multifilament or monofilament polymer strand and fiber material anchored in its soft surface, usually staple fibers. For this purpose, a nonwoven fabric is drawn into the mold nip of a pair of pressure rollers and pressed onto the still soft polymer strand surface, the fiber material being fibrids with an average length of three to twelve millimeters.
- the composite yarn takes advantage of the properties of the fibrids, such as strength, suppleness, absorbency and surface structure.
- the well-known flock yarn made of polyamide has a relatively high abrasion resistance and high abrasion resistance. The lightfastness or lightfastness is improved by suitable coloring and UV stabilizers. Damage from extreme sunlight affects the tips of the flock, but not the entire thread. Such a flock yarn can be improved with regard to its light resistance.
- polyester material has a much better light resistance compared to the polyamide material and high light fastness in the long term.
- the polyester material is less favorable than polyamide material in terms of rub resistance and abrasion resistance.
- the object of the invention is to improve a flock yarn with regard to its light resistance by using a suitable material and to essentially maintain the good physical properties of the abrasion resistance and the abrasion resistance.
- the flock consists of different materials, one of which is polyester and polyamide, and in that this flock is evenly distributed on the carrier thread.
- the distribution can be 50% polyester flock and 50% polyamide flock.
- a preferred distribution is that the flock consists of 30% to 70% polyester flock and 70% to 30% polyamide flock. Depending on the intended use, this is to be specified, for example, as upholstery fabric or as wall covering, automobile side door trim, molded headlining, parcel shelf during distribution.
- the lightfastness of the polyester advantageously improves the flock yarn product. This is also associated with cost advantages; because polyester is relatively inexpensive in terms of raw material and manufacture.
- the flock yarn which has mixed flock made of polyamide and polyester, is both elastic and flexible as well as lightfast and inexpensive.
- a further improvement of the flock yarn can be achieved by another feature.
- the carrier thread which can also be formed from polyester material.
- Mixing flock which has different cutting lengths for polyester and polyamide is preferably assigned to this carrier thread.
- the elastic, flexible polyamide is preferably kept somewhat longer in the cutting length than the polyester flock.
- Preferred cutting lengths are 1.1mm for the polyamide flock and 0.7mm for the polyester flock.
- Both flock materials can have the same titer, for example a fineness of 3.3 dtex. With different titers, the polyamide flock can have a fineness of 3.0 dtex and the polyester flock can have a fineness of 1.7 dtex.
- These training features provide a densely flocked flock yarn with a mixed flock, which guarantees good abrasion resistance and high abrasion resistance thanks to the cutting length and titer of the polyamide flock and very good lightfastness due to the cutting length and titer of the polyester flock.
- the mixed flock can consist of polyamide and polyester flock and additionally of aramid flock.
- the aramid flock is at least less than the two flock types polyamide and polyester used.
- the carrier thread of the flock yarn 1 is designated 2.
- the carrier thread is made of polyester yarn.
- the adhesive coat made of acrylate is designated by 3.
- the flock 4 which is present essentially radially with respect to the carrier thread, consists of polyamide flock 5 with a cutting length of 1.1 mm and 3.3 dtex fineness and of polyester flock 6 with a cutting length of 0.7 mm and with a fineness of 3.3 dtex.
- the flock yarn is elastic and flexible thanks to the polyamide flock and the flock yarn is lightfast due to the polyester flock.
- the flock yarn 11 consists of a rayon thread 12 with an adhesive jacket 13 made of acrylate and a mixed flock 14.
- the mixed flock here consists of 1.1 mm long polyamide flock 15, 0.7 mm long polyester flock 16 and 0.4 mm long aramid flock 17. Because the polyester flock is used because of its high lightfastness, it has no significant part in the strength of the flock yarn, which is achieved by the other two types of flock, the polyamide flock and the high-strength aramid flock, and can therefore be more finely titered than that Polyamide and aramid flock.
- flock yarn with mixed flock for improved lightfastness in the long run is not limited to the examples mentioned for upholstery textiles or automotive textiles, but can be used with advantage wherever the lightfastness of textiles is important.

Description
- Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch ein weiteres Flockgarn.
