Abstract

Der Verschluß ist für Behälter (10) u. dgl. bestimmt, deren Öffnungsrand (12) einen Kragen zum Aufsetzen eines unter Zwischenschaltung einer auf den Kragrand drückenden Dichtung (1) anbringbaren Kappendeckels (2) bildet. Der Verschluß besitzt behälterseitig eine auf den Kragen (12) aufsetzbare Hülse (11) mit von einem Ringflansch (6) bis zum Kragenrand reichendem Aufschraubgewinde (3). Der Ringflansch (6) ist als Bordurring für die Anbringung eines Spannringes (5) ausgebildet. Im Flansch (6) sind in Verlängerung des Gewindeteiles (3) Durchtrittsöffnungen (4) mit zugeordneter Verrastungsnase (7) vorgesehen. Die Hülse (11) kann wahlweise mit einem Deckel (2) mit Kappengewinde, einem Deckel mit Bordurring für einen auch den Ringflansch (6) umfassenden Spannring (5), einem Deckel mit Kappengewinde und Bordurring oder mit einem wenigstens eine durch die Ringflanschöffnung (8) durchsteckbare in die Verrastungsnase (7) einrastende Haltelasche aufweisenden Aufsatzdekkel verwendet werden.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verschluß nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.
  • Als Beispiele für solche Verschlüsse werden Schraubverschlüsse für Weithalskannen aus Kunststoff und Metall, Steck- Klemm- und Überlappungsverschlüsse für Hobboks, Verpackungseimer und Fibertrommeln, Spannringdeckelverschlüsse für Blech- und Kunststoffässer mit einer Vielzahl vor Bordurausformungen, Steckdeckel, die nach dem Aufdrücken selbst sichern oder durch Plombierung nicht mehr abnehmbar sind und Kragring­deckel für Tank- und Silocontainer in verschiedensten Bau­weisen genannt.
  • Beispiele für bekannte Verschlüsse der gegenständlichen Art und nach dem Oberbegriff sind durch die US-A-1 882 278 im Falle einer Glasflasche und durch die FR-A-2 358 331 bei Einsatzdeckeln gegeben.
  • Es gibt bisher für alle die aufgezählten Verpackungsarten eine Vielzahl von Verschlüssen, die meist auf die jeweilige Verpackung bzw. den Behälter zugeschnitten sind, wobei der behälter- oder verpackungsseitige Teil des Verschlusses be­vorzugt unmittelbar aus dem Behälter-bzw. Verpackungsma­terial gebildet wird. Dadurch wird die Herstellung der Be­hälter bzw. Verpackungen an sich erschwert. Es ergibt sich oft die Notwendigkeit, nur einfache Formen des dem Behälter usw. zugeordneten Teiles des Verschlusses zu wählen und dieser Verschlußteil kann meist auch nur mit größeren Her­stellungstoleranzen gefertigt werden. Im Endeffekt kommt es dazu, daß für gleiche Öffnungsgrößen verschiedenste Ver­schlüsse mit Sonderformen sowohl des behälterseitigen Ver­schlußteiles als auch des Deckels gewählt werden, wobei auch die Deckel jeweils nur für einen ganz bestimmten Verschluß geeignet sind. Auch die Befestigung des Deckels am behälter­seitigen Verschlußteil erfolgt auf verschiedenste Weise. Da­bei muß bei einem aufsetzbaren Deckel, der gegen eine Dich­tung zu verspannen ist, darauf Bedacht genommen werden, daß der Behälter beim Aufsetzen des Deckels, der manchmal mit einem Spannring gesichert oder selbsteinrastend ausgeführt wird, nicht beschädigt wird, d. h. die Kraft, mit der der Deckel aufgepreßt wird, darf nicht größer sein als die Druckfestigkeit dieses Behälters.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Schaffung eines Verschlusses, der in Verbindung mit verschiedensten Verpackungen und Be­hältern Verwendung finden kann, wobei für gleiche Öffnungs­größen auch gleiche verpackungsseitige Verschlußteile vor­gesehen werden können, aber die Möglichkeit bestehen soll, je nach Bedarf verschiedene zugeordnete und gegebenenfalls auf verschiedene Weise zu befestigende Deckel zu verwenden, z. B. ein mit selbsteinrastendem Aufsatzdeckel oder mit Hilfe eines Spannringes befestigtem Transportdeckel ver­schlossenes Faß nachträglich mit einem aufschraubbaren Dek­kel zu verschließen.
  • Die gestellte Aufgabe wird durch die im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
  • Zusätzliche Anwendungsgebiete des erfindungsgemäßen Ver­schlusses sind gewickelte Pappetrommeln, an denen die Hülse des behälterseitigen Verschlußteiles durch Aufdrücken, Kle­ben oder Mitwickeln befestigt werden kann. Die Hülse kann bei anderen Behältern und Fässern durch Aufkleben, Aufdrücken Auflöten (bei der Herstellung aus Metall), Aufschrauben, An­schweißen, Versicken oder insbesondere bei Kunststoffbehäl­tern dadurch befestigt werden, daß sie als Einlageteil in eine im übrigen einfach auszugestaltende Spritzguß- oder Blasform für die Kunststoffbehälter eingebracht und so mit dem weiteren Behälter verbunden wird. Ein weiteres Anwen­dungsgebiet des erfindungsgemäßen Verschlusses ergibt sich bei der Verpackung gefährlicher Güter (Sondermüll).
  • Die Ausbildung des behälterseitigen Verschlußteiles als eigene, aufsetzbare Hülse ermöglicht auch komplizierte Form­gebungen dieses Verschlußteiles und im Bedarfsfall seine Herstellung aus einem anderen Material als der Behälter oder die Verpackung. Es können gleiche oder prinzipiell gleiche behälterseitige Verschlußteile für verschiedene Behälter eingesetzt und mit verschiedenen Deckeln, die nach ver­schiedenen Prinzipien zu befestigen sind, kombiniert werden, wodurch sich eine universelle Anwendbarkeit ergibt. Der Bor­durring des behälterseitigen Verschlußteiles kann dazu ver­wendet werden, um beim Aufpressen eines Deckels an ihm Ge­genhalter abzustützen, so daß die Aufpreßkraft für den Dek­kel nur in Abhängigkeit von der Festigkeit des Bordurringes und nicht von der Druckfestigkeit des gesamten Behälters ge­wählt werden kann. Es wird möglich, den für den jeweiligen Anwendungsfall am besten geeigneten Deckel in Verbindung mit dem einheitlichen, behälterseitigen Verschlußteil zu ver­wenden.
  • Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform des Deckels entnimmt man dem Anspruch 2. Weitere Einzelheiten und Vorteile des Erfindungs­gegenstandes ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Zeichnungs­beschreibung und aus der beigeschlossenen Zeichnung selbst. Dort zeigen

  • In der Zeichnung wurde jeweils eine Einlagedichtung mit 1 bezeichnet. Die verschiedenen Deckel wurden mit 2 bis 2c bezeichnet.

Verschluß für die Öffnungen weithalsiger Behälter, Eimer, Fässer u. dgl. deren Öffnungsrand einen Kragen zum Aufsetzen eines unter Zwischenschaltung einer auf den Kragenrand drückenden Dichtung anbringbaren Kappendeckels bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verschluß behälter­seitig eine auf den Kragen aufsetzbare Hülse mit von einem Ringflansch (6) bis zum Kragenrand reichenden Aufschraubge­winde (3) besitzt, der Ringflansch (6) als Bordurring für die Anbringung eines Spannringes (5) ausgebildet und im Flansch (6) in Verlängerung des Gewindeteiles (3) wenigstens eine Durchtrittsöffnung (4) mit zugeordneter Verrastungsnase (7) od.dgl. an der vom Gewinde (3) abweisenden Seite der Hülse vorgesehen sind, so daß die Hülse wahlweise mit einem Deckel (2) mit Kappengewinde, einem Deckel mit Bordurring für einen auch den Ringflansch (6) umfassenden Spannring (5), einem Deckel mit Kappengewinde und Bordurring oder mit einem wenigstens eine durch die Ringflanschöffnung (4) durchsteckbare, in die Verrastungsnase (7) einrastende Haltelasche (8) aufweisenden Aufsatzdeckel verwendbar ist.
2. Verschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Deckel einen einsatzdeckelartig in die Halsöffnung einsetzbaren Verschlußkörper, an dem der Kragrand an­schließt, aufweist.
