Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp holder with an insulating body and therein provided, in particular screwless, lamp contacts associated terminals for mains conductors, the terminals being accessible through conductor insertion openings and optionally auxiliary openings for a release tool, which are provided in a particular bottom wall of the insulating body.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a lamp holder of the type outlined in the preamble of claim 1, which fulfills the conditions of the so-called "protection class II" for luminaires.
- Previously suitable lamp sockets could only be realized with an additional cover cap, a so-called “socket dome”.
- the present invention is intended to provide a lamp holder which can be constructed in one piece or in one piece.
- the invention solves this problem primarily in that the conductor insertion openings and the auxiliary openings are surrounded by molded-on insulating material collars, the outer end faces of which are at a distance of at least 8 mm from live parts (terminals).
- the insulating material collars are provided in one piece and integrally on the insulating body, whereby a one-piece socket is realized, which ensures the necessary creepage distances and clearances.
- Each insulating collar forms a closed-edged channel. With great advantage, the channels are also arranged close to each other using wall parts. This permits a correspondingly dense assignment of the network connections.
- An embodiment which particularly meets the practical requirements when using a lamp holder is characterized in that the channels assigned to the conductor insertion openings and formed by the insulating material collars are stepped with an outer and an inner channel section with a reduced cross section leading to the lamp.
- the diameter of the inner duct section should be matched to the insulation of a network conductor and the outer duct section should be matched to the tubular casing of additional insulation.
- the longitudinal central axes of the channel sections can be offset from one another. This allows the inner channel sections to be closer together than the outer ones.
- each cable connection duct forms a longitudinal stop for the end face of the hose sleeve.
- the tubular sleeves are usually based on the base iso
- the conductor can be easily moved.
- a fixation comes on the one hand by clamping the additional insulating hose nozzle in a strain relief, clamp or the like. in question, while now according to the invention, on the other hand, an axial support is guaranteed at the step of the channel.
- the step also offers the advantage that only the conductor end section provided with the basic insulation can be inserted further into the socket. This enables the conductor to be inserted in a targeted manner, in particular also its stripped end.
- a lamp socket designated as a whole by 10, essentially consists of an insulating body 11 made of porcelain or, in particular, plastic, and also provided therein, in particular screwless, connecting terminals 12, 13 to which lamp contacts 14, 15 are assigned.
- an insulating body 11 made of porcelain or, in particular, plastic, and also provided therein, in particular screwless, connecting terminals 12, 13 to which lamp contacts 14, 15 are assigned.
- In the bottom 16 of the insulating body there are, as usual, conductor insertion openings 17, and furthermore, for each connection terminal 12, 13, an auxiliary opening 18 for inserting an auxiliary tool such as a screwdriver blade 19 for the intended releasing of a connection terminal 12 or 13.
- each connection terminal is also 12 , 13 accessible from the side through a jacket opening 20 of the insulating body 11.
- the conductor insertion openings 17 and the auxiliary openings 18 are surrounded by insulating material collars 21, 22. These insulating material collars each form a closed-edged channel, and their outer end faces are at a minimum distance of 8 mm from live parts (connecting terminals 12, 13).
- the jacket openings 20 are also surrounded by corresponding insulating collars 23.
- the corresponding minimum distance A (FIG. 3) is 8 mm.
- the channels formed by this insulating collar 23 serve as auxiliary channels for the shaping, in particular, of the receiving chambers for the connecting terminals 12, 13 and for their insertable holder, as can be seen in FIG. 3.
- connection terminals 12, 13 consist of a stripped conductor end 25, a base insulation 26 which springs back from this and an additional insulation in the form of a tubular sleeve 27 made of flexible plastic material pushed over the base insulation.
- the base insulation 26 usually has an outer diameter of approximately 2 mm
- the outer diameter of the tubular sleeve 27 is approximately 4 mm.
- the channels formed by the insulating material collars 21 are graduated to this diameter. They each have an outer section 28 with a larger diameter and an inner section 29 with a smaller diameter.
- the length of the outer channel section 28 is at least 4 mm. Otherwise, it can be seen in particular from the section in FIG. 2 that the inner channel sections are arranged axially offset toward one another in relation to the outer channel sections.
- each connection terminal 12, 13 has two independent connection options and thus two channel-forming insulating material collars are provided close together in the lamp holder designed according to the invention.
- the close-to-close arrangement relates on the one hand to the two channels, each assigned to a clamp, and to the channel for the auxiliary tool.
- the channels are arranged close to one another using common wall sections and partially also in mutual overlap.
- the insulating collars 23 with their channels are also included in this tight arrangement.

Abstract
