Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lockable lifting device according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a guide bush for such a lifting device.
  • the cylindrical outer surface of the housing of the gas spring is guided directly in a guide bush connected to the guide tube.
  • the gas spring is not only a load-bearing and length-adjustable, but also a guiding and rotating element of a chair or table column. Since the piston rod in the base plate of the guide tube is not only freely rotatable, but is also attached radially with sufficient play, the gas spring can align itself according to any changing load directions on the seat or table top, so that the risk of jamming in the guide bushing is small overall .
  • the housing of the gas spring is surrounded by an additional tube in which the housing of the gas spring is arranged axially immovable.
  • This additional tube is rotatably and longitudinally guided in the guide bush (EP-PS 0 133 524 according to JP-GM 60-54446).
  • the guide bushes are made in one piece and consist of an abrasion-resistant, high-quality material. They are pressed into the guide tubes. Then the guide surface of the bushing, which serves as a sliding surface, is brought to the exact dimension by turning or rubbing it out. This is necessary because the guide bushes have large tolerance dimensions due to their size and because they are deformed differently when they are pressed into the guide tube. This processing is expensive. In addition, the requirement that the guide bush should have good sliding properties, be abrasion-resistant and still be able to be pressed into the guide tube with corresponding hard elastic deformation is difficult to achieve from the material side with one another.
  • DE-GM 72 35 759 From DE-GM 72 35 759 it is known for a lifting device for the continuous adjustment of chair seats to guide a gas spring in two spaced-apart guide bushings, each of which is in turn provided with bearing or guide surfaces.
  • the two guide bushes are pressed into a guide tube and held apart by a spacer tube.
  • a special purpose is not specified in DE-GM 72 35 759.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object, in a blockable lifting device of the generic type, to design the guide bushing in such a way that, on the one hand, a jam-free, abrasion-resistant, sliding-friendly guidance of the gas spring in the guide bushing and, on the other hand, a production of the guide bushing which is favorable in terms of material expenditure is achieved.
  • the measures according to the invention ensure that the sliding bushes can be made from a material that has high abrasion resistance on the one hand and good sliding properties compared to metal on the other.
  • the fact that the sliding bushes are arranged at a distance from one another ensures good tilt-free guidance of the gas spring or of the additional tube surrounding it.
  • the carrying sleeve can only be designed with regard to its ability to be pressed into the guide tube, i.e. Relatively inexpensive plastics can be used in the choice of material, since abrasion resistance and sliding properties are irrelevant.
  • the sub-claims reflect numerous advantageous configurations of the guide bush.
  • the blockable lifting device shown in the drawing for stepless adjustment of seats or table tops has a lower guide tube 1, which is essentially cylindrical, but in its lower region has a downwardly conically tapering section 2, which is received in a corresponding hub 3 of a base frame 4 is used.
  • the guide tube 1 is provided near its lower end with a base plate 5 which has an opening 7 which is concentric with the central longitudinal axis 6 of the entire lifting device and thus also the guide tube 1.
  • a length-adjustable, hydraulically or pneumatically lockable gas spring B is axially parallel to the longitudinal axis 6 , the cylindrical one of which Housing 9 is located in the upper region of the guide tube 1 and protrudes upwards from it, while its piston rod 10 projects downward from the housing 9 and is detachably connected to the base plate 5.
  • the free end of the piston rod 10 is formed with a reduced-diameter pin 11 on which an axial ball bearing 12 is arranged, the upper race 13 of which is supported against the collar 14 formed at the transition between the pin 11 and the piston rod 10, while the lower race 15 is supported against the base plate 5.
  • a locking ring 16 is attached to the pin, which holds the thrust ball bearing 12 in the position shown, even if the lower race 15 is not supported against the base plate 5.
  • the pin 11 passes through the opening 7 with a sufficient radial play of a few tenths of a millimeter to one millimeter, so that the piston rod 10 is not radially clamped relative to the guide tube 1.
  • a washer 17 is pushed onto the pin 11, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the opening 7.
  • a securing element 18 is inserted, so that the piston rod 10 of the gas spring 8 is axially fixed but releasable with the guide tube 1 is connected.
  • the continuous circular cylindrical housing 9 of the gas spring 8 is arranged in a tube 20 with a sliding fit, which is also circular cylindrical over its essential length, i.e. the radial play between the housing 9 and the tube 20 is a few hundredths of a millimeter to a maximum of 1 or 2 tenths of a millimeter.
  • the game is just such that the housing 9 of the gas spring 8 can be inserted into or pulled out of the tube 20, but at the same time the housing 9 is guided and held radially in the tube 20.
  • This tube 20 which forms a detachable part of the gas spring 8, is provided in its upper region, which projects beyond the housing 9, with a conically tapering fastening section 21, which is used to produce a fixed, easy-to-produce plug connection with a suitably designed hub 22, which is on the underside of a Chairs, armchairs, a table top or the like. is attached.
  • a sleeve 23 which is designed in accordance with the tapering of the pipe 20 and is thus axially fixed in the direction of the fastening section 21, is arranged in the pipe 20.
  • the housing 9 of the gas spring 8 is supported axially firmly against this sleeve 23.
  • the housing 9 is held axially in the tube 20 by means of a releasable fastening element 24.
  • This can be a so-called claw, that is to say a ring provided with resilient projections, which is relatively easy in one direction, that is to say, until it rests against the housing 9 can be inserted into the tube 20, but opposes an opposite movement in that it clings to the tube like barbs.
  • a sufficient effort for example by means of a screwdriver, it can be easily removed downwards, whereby the connection between the housing 9 and the tube 20 is broken in a simple manner.
  • fasteners including screw connections, are also contemplated.
  • This tube which forms a detachable part of the gas spring 8, is mounted in the usual manner axially displaceably in the guide tube 1, for which purpose this is provided in its upper region with a guide bush 25, which will be described in more detail below.
  • the guide tube 1 and the tube 20 are made of steel.
  • the sleeve 23 consists of a softer material, for example die-cast zinc.
  • Length adjustments of the gas spring 8 and thus height adjustments of the entire lifting device are carried out by actuating an actuating plunger 26 of the gas spring 8 which protrudes from the upper end facing away from the piston rod 10 and which is pressed into the housing 9 to enable the corresponding length adjustments.
  • an upwardly protruding sliding body 27 is arranged in the fastening section 21, which tapers conically upwards and bears with a contact surface 28 against the actuating plunger 26.
  • This sliding body 27 is further provided with retaining fingers 29, which engage resiliently behind a corresponding ring 30 on the sleeve 23, as a result of which the sliding body 27 is secured against the actuating plunger 26 against inadvertent falling out or being pulled out of the fastening section 21 while at the same time largely free of play against the contact surface 28.
  • the actuation is carried out by means of a pivotable actuating lever, not shown, which is mounted in the hub 22 in the usual way and which comes into contact with the outer surface of the sliding body 27, as is known, for example, from DE-GM 70 19 918 (corresponding to US Pat. No. 3,790,119). is known.
  • the gas spring 8 does not necessarily have to be arranged in an additional cylindrical tube 20; it can also be guided directly with its housing in the guide bush 25 and the like on the underside of a chair seat, a table top. be attached. This is known, for example, from DE-PS 19 37 012, which corresponds to US Pat. No. 3,711,054 or JP-PS 892 209, to which reference is made.
  • the guide bush 25 is constructed in several parts. It consists of a support tube 31, slide bushings 32, 33 inserted into this and an outer two-part support sleeve 34.
  • the support tube 31 is designed as an annular cylinder and, in particular, has a relatively precise inside diameter Di, that is to say with only small tolerances.
  • the two sliding bushes 32, 33 are of identical design. They have one before being inserted into the support tube 31 Outer diameter there, which is a few hundredths of a millimeter, for example 0.02 to 0.09 mm larger than the inner diameter Di of the support tube 31.
  • the annular cylindrical sliding bushes 32, 33 are provided with an annular collar 35 projecting outwards.
  • the slide bushes 32, 33 are inserted into the support tube 31 in such a way that a slide bush 32 or 33 is pressed in from each of their two ends until their collar 35 rests against the corresponding end face 36 of the support tube.
  • the two sliding bushes 32, 33 extend over a quarter to a third of the length of the supporting tube 31, so that between the two sliding bushes 32, 33 there is approximately a third to two fourths of the length of the supporting tube 31 extending free space 37 is formed.
  • the inside diameter di of the sliding bushes 32, 33 thus corresponds, with the usual guide play, to the outside diameter of the housing of a gas spring or the outside diameter of the tube 20.
  • the two-part bushing 34 consists of two half bushes 39, 40 of identical design, each of which has a semicircular cylinder section 41 in its basic form, from which ribs 42 extending outwards parallel to the axis 6 project.
  • the half-sleeves 39.40 have longitudinal flanges 43.44 which lie against each other when joining the two half-sleeves 39.40. They then lie against each other in a plane which is guided through the central longitudinal axis 6.
  • Pins 45 and associated openings 46 are formed on these longitudinal flanges 43, 44, so that when the two half-sleeves 39, 40 are joined together, the pins 45 of one half-sleeve 39, 40 engage in the opening 46 of the other half-sleeve 40 and 39, respectively.
  • a semi-ring-shaped, radially inwardly projecting stop 47 is formed, against which — as can be seen from FIG. 2 — the ring collar 35 of the associated slide bush 32 abuts in the assembled state of the guide bush 25 , so that the support tube 31 with the two sliding bushes 32, 33 is fixed axially in one direction.
  • the support tube 31 is fixed with the two sliding bushes 32, 33 in such a way that an upper, half-ring-shaped stop 48 is formed on the two half-sleeves 39, 40, which also projects radially inward beyond the semicircular cylinder section.
  • the collar 35 of the adjacent sliding bush 33 lies axially.
  • this upper stop 48 is designed to be slightly resilient in the axial direction, so that it can compensate for length tolerances of the support tube 31 with the two sliding bushings 32, 33 on the one hand, and the supporting tube 31 with the two sliding bushings 32, 33, on the other hand, can be adjusted axially free of play and thus also wobble-free.
  • this stop 48 is in each case in the form of a half-ring disk and is guided into the radial outer region of the ribs 42 attached to a half-ring web 49 which projects radially outwards and has an outer diameter which corresponds to the inner diameter of the guide tube 1.
  • this half-ring web 49 and the stop 48 there is also an annular collar 50 which comes into contact with the corresponding end face 51 of the guide tube 1 when the fully assembled guide bush 25 is inserted.
  • the support tube 31 already provided with the sliding bushes 32, 33 is inserted into one of the half bushes 39 and 40, respectively.
  • the other half-sleeve 40 or 39 is then placed against it, the pins 45 engaging in the corresponding openings 46.
  • This fully assembled guide bush 25 is then inserted into the guide tube 1 until the collar 50 rests against the end face 51.
  • the ribs 42 are elastically slightly deformed so that the entire guide bush 25 is seated firmly in the guide tube 1. Since the support tube 31 is practically non-deformable, since it is made of steel or aluminum or a comparable metal, the deformations of the support bush 34 due to tolerance do not affect the inner diameter di of the slide bushes 32, 33 and thus not the exact dimensions of the guide surfaces 38.
  • the relatively material-consuming half-sleeves 39, 40 which are each in one piece, can be produced from an inexpensive plastic, for example PPN (polypropylene), while the sliding sleeves 32, 33 from a plastic with particularly good sliding properties compared to metal, in particular Steel.
  • the tube 20 or the housing of a directly guided gas spring consists of metal, in particular steel. Polyacetal is considered to be such a plastic with particularly good sliding properties.
  • the outer diameter Da of the support tube 31 is selected so that it is held in the support sleeve 34 without play.
