Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for ash removal from suspensions, in particular fiber suspensions from the paper industry, and devices for ash removal.
- the known ash removal device uses a certain flow rate of the fiber suspension passed over a screen which is more or less inclined towards the horizontal in order to utilize the filter network effect formed by the formation of mats in the fibers for separating fine materials and thus ash removal.
- the addition of rinse water from above can result in a further increased separation of the fine substances.
- the centrifugal effect on the fiber suspension which is guided in the form of an arc between two sieves around a central, perforated dewatering drum is used to separate water and fine substances contained therein.
- the suspension is transferred from a feed device via a channel with a slot-shaped outlet opening into the one between the two the drum led sieves formed gap initiated as a narrow beam.
- liquid and fine substances are discharged radially inward into the interior of the drum due to the pressure prevailing between the sieves.
- these two mechanisms of action contradict each other, and this arrangement is relatively complex due to the two screens and the central drainage drum.
- the object of the invention is to construct a device for ash removal with high efficiency with only one sieve.
- the method is preferably carried out according to claim 3.
- Vibration devices are already known from the so-called vibration sorters. However, only the coarse material, ie the coarse dirt, was separated with these sorters. Such vibration exciters are known from FR patent specification 1,085,876 and US patent specification 2,016,006. Vibration sorters with an inclined screen surface are known from US patent specification 36 42 133 and US patent specification 3,616,905.
- vibration devices mentioned can also be used in the ash removal device according to the invention.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 1 has a feeding device 11, in which the outlet is arranged horizontally or approximately parallel to the upper run of the screen 2, and which ends in a slot nozzle 21. As a result, the suspension is applied to the screen 2 in a flat layer.
- the vibration exciters which can be designed as already indicated above and are vibrationally coupled to the screen 2 by means of a slide shoe 9.
- the fiber suspension is carried along as a thin layer M by the sieve.
- the sliding shoes 9 are supported on the lateral machine beams 5 by means of springs 4.
- the excitation frequency of the vibration systems is preferably between 20 and 60, in particular 30 and 45 Hz.
- the layer thickness of the fiber suspension on the sieve is between 1 1/2 and 2 mm.
- the mesh size of the sieve is selected depending on the fine material content and is between 12 and 24 meshes per cm2.
- the vibration exciters can preferably also be sound pressure devices 22 which operate by means of an electromagnetically excited membrane and which are arranged in a row or several rows across the screen 2. This also makes it easier to adapt the frequency e.g. possible with regard to resonance.
- a screen 2 which consists of a flexible screen fabric, is passed over an inflow-side drainage drum with a perforated jacket and deflecting rollers 16 and 18.
- the suspension preferably a fiber suspension from the paper industry, is fed onto the screen in the area of the dewatering drum 14 by means of the feed device 12.
- the upper run of the screen moves away from this feed device 12 in the illustration to the right, whereby it is guided via vibration devices 3, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, and suction devices 7, which are designed as so-called foils and which alternate one after the other.
- the fiber suspension is drained to a large extent in the area of the suction devices 7, the fine substances being removed with the filtrate.
- the dewatering drum 14 can circulate in a bath 13 made of fiber suspension, in which the liquid already separated in the dewatering drum collects.
- the screen can be operated at a relatively low speed between 5 and 100 m / min, preferably between 10 and 50 m / min.
- the liquid separated in the dewatering drum can also be collected by a collecting trough 15 arranged inside the drum.
- Fig. 4 it is also shown that by means of nozzles 29 connected to a dilution water line 28, spray water of a spray pressure of approximately 10 bar can be sprayed onto the sieve in the area of the vibration excitation systems 3 in order to wash out the fine substances even more.

Description
- Fig. 4 prinzipmäßig eine andere erfindungsgemäße Ausführungsform in Ansicht dar.
