Definitions
- a large number of paving stones are known which have toothing, for example according to European Patent 0 060 960.
- This paving stone has a non-continuous vertical toothing, which makes it possible to design the surface independently of the lower part with the toothing.
- a set of paving stones that solves this problem is described in claim 1.
- Advantageous embodiments are specified in claims 2 to 6.
- a manufacturing method for these paving stones is set out in claim 7 and the use of a paving stone package produced thereafter is set out in claim 8.
- Fig. 1 you can see the normal stone 1 having the length N, which has two teeth 12 on its two longitudinal sides, with a distance DL between the tooth centers Z.
- the distance A between the tooth center Z and the outer edge is the same on both sides .
- the tooth width may at most be so large that the smallest distance between the inner edges of the teeth is greater than half of the normal stone.
- the distance DL is the same and the tooth width is given by the above condition.
- the distance between the center of the tooth Z and the outer edge can, however, vary step by step from stone to stone, i.e. this distance can be A ⁇ S, 2S, 3S ... nS, whereby the step width S can be any value. This distance can be different on both sides of a stone.
- the broad sides of the normal stone 1 with the greatest width B likewise have two teeth 13 and 14, the teeth 13 each reaching up to the corner of the stone, while the tooth 14 is arranged in the vicinity of the center of the stone in such a way that the stones can be interlocked when viewed in the longitudinal direction.
- the distance DB between the tooth centers ZB is the same for all stones of this type in one set, the distance between the two inner edges of the teeth naturally having to be greater than a tooth width.
- the greatest width B can vary within a set, but it is mostly, but not necessarily, the same for a row on a mold or in machine laying. In particular, by varying the greatest width, a predetermined shape size of the machine tool can be used to the maximum.
- FIGS. 1, 5 and 6 not only can the greatest width of the stones vary within a set, but also the width of the outer edge with respect to the center, as shown in FIG. 1 and extremely in FIG. 6, or the width of one side can be smaller than the width of the other, whereby a wedge-shaped stone 7 according to FIG. 5 can arise.
- stones 1-5 according to FIG. 1 it can be seen that the stone, starting from its greatest width B, tapers from the center to the edges, the size of the tapers C also being variable and, for example, a value from both sides Can assume 6 mm.
- a distance of one tooth width for all stones, at least at the height of the teeth, which do not have to be continuous, has to be of the same shape, that is, straight to ensure a constant distance between two stones or rows of stones.
- This joint width also ensures that water can seep away.
- the innermost part F between these certain distances can be designed freely, as can the distance between the teeth outer edge and the outer edge of the stone. If the teeth do not extend over the entire height, for example over 2/3 of the height, the upper circumference can be adapted to the appearance of a natural stone. As is also apparent from Fig. 1, the teeth are chamfered to allow easier interlocking.
- the individual stones 7 can also have different widths and are wedge-shaped in order to enable circles or arcs to be laid.
- all stones have the same lengths as the stones shown in FIG. 1, while the greatest width can be almost twice as wide as that of the normal stone and the smallest width can be smaller than that of the normal stone.
- 2, 3 and 6 indicate that the paving stones or paving stone inserts are intended to be installed mechanically in the arrangement in which they are manufactured or shaped. This means that the manufacturer or customer can design the desired laying pattern based on the size of a mold, after which it can be manufactured and installed. In order to take full advantage of the existing shapes, which can be different, the dimensions of the stones can be adapted to the given tool shape size.
- 2 shows a possible arrangement of paving stones, from which it can be seen that it is possible to produce a joint pattern that is not continuous when viewed in the vertical direction. Based on this, it is also possible to arrange stones of different widths within a row, so that the joints are not continuous even in the horizontal line.
- a very small joint width of, for example, 5 mm can be achieved, as indicated in FIG. 4, which results in a very high level of sure-footedness and good accessibility. Because the shape of the surface or its outer contour is to a certain extent independent of the lower peripheral part with the toothing, a pleasing shape, for example adapted to a natural stone, or a shape desired by the customer can be achieved.

Description
- Fig. 2 zeigt ein Pflastersteinpaket auf einer Form,
- Fig. 6 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform.
