Definitions

  • the invention relates to a luminaire grid according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a luminaire grid forms a component of a luminaire in whose housing it is used.
  • the two side reflectors are connected to each other by the cross slats and the luminaire grid thus forms a self-supporting unit.
  • Luminaires in which such luminaire grids are used can be luminaires with fluorescent lamps or luminaires with other lamps. They can have straight, preferably elongated housings. However, they can also have other housings.
  • planar transverse lamellae connect two side webs which are angular in cross section, in the bending edges of which there are short slots in the planes of the transverse lamellae.
  • the transverse lamellae are provided with incisions adapted to the bending angle of the side webs on the two end faces, and each have a standing tab that serves for the push-through connection with the side webs and secures the connection by twisting.
  • the side bars of this luminaire grid are not particularly suitable as side reflectors because of their angular bends.
  • the assembly of the lamellae with the side webs requires a relatively large amount of time and also skill, because the flaps of the transverse lamellas inserted through the slots in the side webs have to be rotated after insertion. This twisting of the flaps requires tool assistance and there is also the risk that the side webs can be twisted or damaged by the twisted flaps, or that cross blades can get too much play on the side webs.
  • the designations used in the claims above and below relate to a position of the luminaire grid in which its light exit opening is directed downwards.
  • the luminaire having such a luminaire grid can optionally also have other arrangements.
  • This luminaire grid according to the invention can be assembled extremely quickly and easily by hand from the two side reflectors and the transverse lamellae even without the use of hand tools. To do this, it is only necessary to insert the two side reflectors into a holder that holds them at the intended distance from one another and then, one after the other, the transverse slats by hand with their side hooks and the step-like heels into the V-shaped slots in the Insert side reflectors.
  • the individual transverse lamella can be expediently inserted with its area facing away from the apex ahead by gently squeezing both legs by hand into the two V-shaped slots of the side reflectors assigned to it until the hooks rest on the slot edges and then pushed Cross lamella continues to its end position.
  • the cross lamella is then absolutely secure in shape and held non-positively in the side reflectors.
  • the transverse lamellae can expediently also be resiliently prestressed in the end positions used in the side reflectors, in that the legs of the transverse lamellae are still somewhat compressed.
  • one or more leg areas located between the free cuts of the two hooks of each leg can be resiliently pressed against the longitudinal edges of the relevant V-shaped slots in the side reflectors by the spring action of the spread legs of the respective transverse lamella. This achieves play-free and wobble-free positive and non-positive mounting of the transverse lamellae on the side reflectors, which are also connected to one another wobble-free and held together. There is also no risk of damage to the luminaire grid parts during their assembly and disruptive tensioning of the luminaire grid.
  • each transverse lamella therefore overlap the upper edges of the V-shaped slots of the reflectors on the outside.
  • the lower hooks are spaced from the lower and upper ends of the relevant V-shaped slots.
  • the step-like shoulders of the transverse lamellas can on the narrow lower ends of the relevant V-shaped slots Lying on side reflectors. As a result, these step-shaped shoulders positively lock the transverse slats against pulling down and the upper hooks positively secure them against sliding upwards.
  • the lower hooks secure the transverse slats against axial displacement in their longitudinal directions, ie in the direction parallel to their apexes.
  • Each side reflector can preferably be made of sheet metal, as can any transverse lamella.
  • Each side reflector can be a one-piece component, and so can each transverse lamella.
  • the side reflectors and / or the transverse slats can thus be produced from sheet metal as stamped and bent parts, but if desired also from other material, for example from plastic.
  • the described positive and non-positive connection between the cross slats and the side reflectors, even if they are made of sheet metal, results in good electrical protective conductor contact between them, which is also favorable for electrical protective measures on the lamp for which such a lamp grid is intended.
  • transverse slats although locked in their positions in the side reflectors against unintentional movement or removal by their hooks and the step-like heels, are nevertheless easily removable by hand. Any damaged cross lamella can be exchanged for a new cross lamella at any time.
  • the mutually facing inner surfaces of the side reflectors can preferably have a substantially concave profile, preferably a constantly concave profile. That is in the area of Cross slats cheap for their insertion in the side reflectors and overall also enables particularly favorable optical design of these reflectors.
  • transverse slats are not or only slightly open upwards. This can be achieved in a simple manner in that the free end regions of the two legs of the respective transverse lamella which extend parallel to the apices are angled.
  • the luminaire grid 10 shown in detail in FIG. 1 is symmetrical with respect to its vertical longitudinal center plane S (FIG. 5A). It has two side reflectors 11 which are arranged in mirror image with respect to this longitudinal center plane S and which have the constant profile shown over their length and which are connected to one another by means of a plurality or a plurality of cross-sections V-shaped in cross section. These side reflectors 11 can preferably be made from thin sheet metal by punching and bending and have undersides directed outwards, upwardly open channels 12 which extend over their length.
  • each gutter strives a continuously curved side wall 15 of the Reflector 11 of constant thickness upwards, which essentially forms the side reflector 11 and has a constantly concave curved, reflecting surface 13 located on the inside of the lamp grid 10, which extends almost over the entire height of the relevant side reflector 11 up to a hook-shaped bend in profile 14 of the upper end of the side reflector 11 extends.
  • V-shaped slots 16 of the shape shown in FIG. 3B are punched in at regular intervals, starting at a short distance above the bottom of the channel 12 and not quite up to half the height of the Side reflector 11 range.
  • each individual V-shaped slot 16 has a vertical plane of symmetry which is perpendicular to the vertical longitudinal plane of symmetry S of the luminaire grid 10.
  • each V-shaped slot 16 The lower narrow bottoms or ends 19 of each V-shaped slot 16 are approximately flat and horizontal, whereas the upper, wider edges or ends 20 of the V-shaped slots 16 are narrow, have indentations 21 narrowing obliquely upwards, into which upper hooks 34 of the legs 23 of the relevant transverse lamella 9 are inserted.
  • the individual transverse lamella 9 consists of resilient material, preferably of thin sheet metal, and can advantageously be produced in one piece by stamping and bending.
  • the transverse lamella 9 has a straight apex 24 on the underside, which extends horizontally from side reflector 11 to side reflector 11, and at a short distance above the bottoms of the channels 12.
  • the light exit opening 25 of the light grid 10 is located on the underside thereof and is also the light exit opening a lamp 30 (Fig. 6), in the housing 31, the lamp grid 10 is inserted.
  • a straight fluorescent lamp 43 is used as the light source and can preferably be a downward-shining lamp, preferably a recessed or surface-mounted ceiling lamp or a lamp suspended from a ceiling. However, if necessary, it can also receive other orders.
  • To simplify the description of their luminaire grid 10 is in a position in which its Light exit opening 25 is located on the underside.
  • the transverse lamellae 9 are designed identically among themselves.
  • the apex 24 of the transverse lamella 9 is curved in the shape of an arc of a circle and adjoin it by the two legs 23 which are too convexly curved in profile to one another, which in the relaxed state according to FIG. 3B are so widely spread that their angled upper free end regions 26 toward one another Possibility of overlap (Fig.
  • each transverse lamella 9 each have a tab 32 which extends over a central longitudinal region of the relevant end face and a step-shaped shoulder 33 at a distance below it above the apex 24, which are provided on the underside of triangular projections 46.
  • Each individual rag 32 forms two hooks 34, 35, of which the upper, the broad end of the transverse lamella 9 facing hook 34 is used so that in him the relevant wide upper edge 20 of the relevant V-shaped slot 16 of the relevant side reflector 11 to the bottom of its free cut 36 or up to this floor engages in this cutout 36 in a form-fitting manner at its lower end region.
  • Its tongue-forming, freely ending area 44 engages behind the relevant side reflector 11 upwards.
  • the free-ended tongue-like region 39 of the lower hook 35 projects downward and, as shown, is curved out of the surface of the leg 23 in question in a direction leading away from the other leg 23 of this transverse lamella 9, so that it projects laterally downwards outwards Tongue 39 of this lower hook 35 engages behind the adjacent longitudinal edge 17 of the slot 16 in question, as can be seen particularly clearly from FIGS. 1 and 5B.
  • the stepped shoulder 33 of each leg 23 of the transverse lamella 9 lies on the narrow bottom 19 of the V-shaped slot 16 in question Side reflector 11 on.
  • the vertical longitudinal center plane S of the luminaire grid 10 which here is perpendicular to the image plane, is shown in dash-dotted lines. Since this longitudinal center plane is a plane of symmetry of the luminaire grid 10, only one side reflector 11 and a region of the transverse lamella 9 adjacent to it are shown in FIGS. 3A, 4A and 5A in order to simplify the drawing.
  • 3A and 3B show the transverse lamella 9 still at a distance below the side reflectors 11.
  • only one side reflector 11 is shown for the sake of simplicity because of the existing symmetry, so that the other side reflector located to the right of the plane of symmetry S is shown 11 and the corresponding extension of the transverse lamella 9 can be easily imagined.
  • the longitudinal center plane S is also a plane of symmetry of the transverse lamella 9.
  • FIG. 3B is a partial side view of the side reflector 11 of FIG. 3A and the transverse lamella 9 in a corresponding front view shown.
  • the free tongues 44, 39 of the hooks 34, 35 are each shown fully drawn out for better identification, whereas the other lateral areas of the transverse lamella 9 are represented by double lines.
  • transverse lamellae 9 For manual insertion of the transverse lamellae 9 into the two side reflectors 11, the latter are inserted into a holding device, not shown, which holds them in their intended relative position for the insertion of the transverse lamellae 9.
  • Each transverse lamella 9 is then compressed somewhat by hand and, according to FIGS. 3A, 3B, inserted between the two side reflectors 11 from below.
  • the holding device for the side reflectors can also be arranged in such a way that the side reflectors 11 are arranged upside down, that is to say with their light exit opening directed upward, that is to say rotated through 180 ° to the position shown in FIG. 3 of a side reflector.
  • the total of four step-shaped shoulders 33 reach the both ends of the transverse lamella 9 onto the bottoms 19 of the slots 16 in question, so that the transverse lamella is locked against displacement both in the upward direction and in the downward direction by the upper hooks 34 and the stepped shoulders 33.
  • the cross plate 9 lies with its areas of the tabs 32 located between the free cuts 36, 37 of the hooks 34, 35 on the longitudinal edges 17 of the slots 16 and with its edge areas 40 of the leg end faces located above the bottoms of the free cuts 36 of the upper hooks 34 of the leg ends
  • Inner surfaces 13 of the side reflectors 11 form-fittingly above the relevant slits 16, as shown particularly clearly in FIGS. 5A and 5B.
  • Transverse lamella 9 is thereby positively locked overall against displacement in any direction and is in a form-fitting manner with lateral leg end regions Inner surfaces 13 of the side reflectors.
  • the resilient bias of each transverse lamella 9, with which its tabs 32 abut the longitudinal edges 17 of the slots 16 in question ensures that the transverse lamella 9 is held in the side reflectors 11 without play.
  • the transverse lamellae 9 hold the side reflectors together without any play, so that a very stable, play-free assembly of the luminaire grid 10 can be carried out quickly and easily manually without the use of hand tools, which even inexperienced persons can easily carry out.
  • the concave inner surfaces 13 of the side reflectors can also be designed according to optically favorable criteria. The manufacture of the luminaire grid 10 is inexpensive and has a simple design.
