Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chassis for a movable grandstand, in particular an extendable grandstand, with rollers that are mounted retractable on grandstand feet so that in the retracted state of the casters on the grandstand feet fixed contact surfaces come into contact with the ground (hall floor) to initiate the traffic load , wherein the rollers are mounted retractable / extendable via fluid-operated lifting devices and wherein the lifting devices have a fluid-tight cushion.
  • Such stands which are also referred to as telescopic stands, can be pushed together when not in use and lowered into niches or in the floor. If seats are required, the grandstands are extended, for which purpose castors are attached to the grandstand feet.
  • rollers It is known to store the rollers "retractable" above springs, the springs being designed and arranged so that the rollers in the unloaded state the grandstand protrude above contact surfaces. But when the stands are loaded by the spectators, the springs are compressed and the contact surfaces come into contact with the ground.
  • the springs are generally chosen so stiff that the contact surfaces come into contact with the ground at about 10% of the maximum traffic load.
  • the surface pressures are harmless, the hall floor is not permanently deformed, but if the grandstand is standing for a long time, the castors always press on the same point, so that even with only 10% of the traffic load, the castors are introduced into the ground, permanent deformation can occur.
  • the rollers always assume the same position when the grandstand is extended.
  • Trolleys of the type mentioned are known essentially from US-A 3,525,184.
  • Movable seating units are provided there, a plurality of bogies with individually mounted rollers being arranged on the underside of a grandstand area.
  • These rollers are rotatably mounted on arms which can be pivoted about horizontal axes, so that they can be pivoted from a retracted rest position into an extended working position in which the grandstand can be moved.
  • an individual air cushion engages for each such roller, which is attached to the main frame and serves to pivot the respective arm with the roller mounted thereon.
  • the corresponding bearings, swivel arms, actuators and air cushions are provided separately for each roller.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to develop a chassis of the type mentioned in such a way that a high stability is ensured with a low floor load with a simple structure.
  • the solution according to the invention consists in designing a running gear of the type in question in such a way that a holding rail in the running gear has an upper end face and in a carrier is mounted, which essentially has a hat profile, and that the cushion is tubular and is arranged between the upper end surface of the holding rail and the opposite surface of the carrier.
  • the rollers are then retracted or drawn in via the lifting devices designed as fluid-tight cushions when the grandstand has reached its end position in the extended state.
  • Retracting the rollers is understood to mean that the non-positive connection between the stands and the rollers is essentially interrupted.
  • only the fluid-tight cushion between the holding rail on the one hand and the carrier on the other hand needs to be actuated without complicated pivot bearings or lifting cylinders being required.
  • running gear which is assigned to a stand foot, and that each running gear has its own fluid-tight cushion for all running rollers in this running gear.
  • the fluid-tight cushions of the lifting devices are assigned a controllable valve arrangement, via which their fluid pressure can be increased or decreased. So when the grandstand has been extended, the valve can be opened so that the fluid pressure is reduced. The rollers then only rest on the floor with their own weight, but are not preloaded against the floor. On the other hand, the fluid pressure for moving the grandstand can be increased.
  • valve arrangement can be controlled by hand, if necessary remotely. This can be done using a linkage, for example.
  • valve arrangement can be controlled automatically in such a way that a load exceeding the weight of the grandstand by a certain amount of, for example, 2% to 10% of the traffic load opens the valve arrangement.
  • the automatic control can take place, for example, via a pressure relief valve with pronounced hysteresis properties, which opens (permanently) when the fluid pressure, which corresponds to the absorbed load, exceeds a certain amount.
  • This amount can have a value very close to or above the weight of the grandstand, so that when the grandstand construction has completely taken its final position, an operator enters the stage and thus triggers the valve, so that the non-positive connection between the grandstand foot and rollers released by releasing the pressure.
  • one pressure fluid source is provided which can be connected to the valve arrangements of the fluid-tight cushions of the lifting devices, the pressure fluid source having a pump and / or a pressure accumulator.
  • the pump can be operated by hand or by motor, while a compressed air bottle, for example, is suitable as a pressure accumulator, and both devices can also be used together.
  • the holding rail of the undercarriage is mounted in a height-displaceable manner in its carrier fastened to the stand foot.
  • the construction of the chassis according to the invention is particularly simple because it is simple Slot guides are sufficient and no complex swivel bearings or the like. required are.
  • FIG. 1 a schematic, half-sectioned side view of a chassis with extended rollers
  • Fig. 2 a section along the line II-II of Fig. 1
  • 3 and 4 Representations like FIGS. 1 and 2, but in the lowered state of the rollers.
  • the preferred embodiment of the undercarriage 8 comprises a support 9, which has a hat-shaped profile in cross section, the interior of the support 9 being open downwards towards the hall floor 10.
  • the support 9 On its upper side, the support 9 is welded to a stand foot 5 of the stand.
  • a holding rail 2 is held by a height-adjustable bearing 4, on which several rollers 1 are rotatably attached.
  • the bearing 4 is designed in such a way that the rollers 1 protrude in the lowered state over bearing surfaces 3, which sit on the lower edge of the carrier 9.
  • the large-area support surfaces 3 are in contact with the hall floor 10, and the rollers 1 rest only on the hall floor 10 with their negligible weight.
  • the holding rail 2 for the rollers 1 has the shape of a U-profile, so that a cavity is formed by its top in the carrier 9.
  • a lifting cushion 6, which can be designed as a hose.
  • the fluid-tight, tube-shaped cushion 6 6 is provided with a valve 7, which projects upwards out of the carrier 9 through a bore.
  • the lifting cushion 6 is inflated, the valve 7 is closed, so that the idler rollers 1 protrude downwards over the contact surfaces 3. In this state, the stage can be moved, the rollers 1 keep the support surfaces 3 at the necessary distance from the hall floor 10. Because a common lifting cushion 6 is provided for all rollers 1, certain unevenness of the floor 10 can also be compensated for.
  • the valve 7 is opened so that the pressure fluid contained in the lifting cushion 6 can flow out.
  • the contact surfaces 3 then come into contact with the hall floor 10 (see FIGS. 3 and 4). Because the pressure has been released from the cushion 6, no more force is introduced via the rollers 1 into the hall floor 10, regardless of the size of the traffic load applied.
  • the grandstand is fixed by the frictional connection of the support surfaces 3 mt the floor 10, so that the necessary security is guaranteed even when the first user enters the stage.
  • the lifting cushion 6 is designed as a long hose, a relatively low pressure is sufficient for this, which can be introduced via a hand pump, a motor-driven pump or via a compressed air container carried along. Of course, it is also possible to use a correspondingly long compressed air line that leads to a compressor.
  • valve 7 is designed as a pressure relief valve as described at the beginning, which opens when the internal pressure in the lifting cushion 6 reaches a predetermined amount. This creates a kind of "automatic" device.
