Definitions

  • the invention relates to a safety ski binding, in particular a heel holder, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a heel holder is described in AT-A2-296.111.
  • a jaw body is rotatably mounted on the pivot, to which a support plate and a sole holder are articulated.
  • This design does not fully take into account the geometric requirements of a ski binding in that the axis of rotation for the ski boot placed on the support plate is not in the extension of the shin axis. However, this means that the maximum permissible torque of the shin cannot be set precisely.
  • the object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the known design and to create a safety ski binding in which the axis of rotation for the ski boot extends approximately. Shin axis and is simple in its structure.
  • the control device thus only determines the pivoting capacity of the heel holder in the horizontal plane, the heel of the ski shoe rubbing against the ski-fixed component.
  • a measure to arrange the axis of rotation for the ski boot approximately in the extended shin axis cannot be taken from this document.
  • the measure of claim 2 determines the position of the heel of the ski boot on the support plate in a particularly advantageous manner, and ensures a defined position of the ski shoe on the support plate during the entire horizontal release process.

  • a binding with a sole plate, which has a non-releasing toe piece at its front end region, is described, for example, in ATPS 330.632.
  • a control or locking device is provided for the locking of the heel holder and the sole plate, which is located on an extension of the sole plate. However, the tilting movement presents difficulties with regard to the mounting of the sole plate on the vertical axis.
