Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for achieving a flat magnetization loop in cores for inductive components which are wound from amorphous ribbons and which are subjected to heat treatment so far below the crystallization temperature that crystalline precipitates predominantly occur on the ribbon surface.
- GB-A-2 117 979 discloses a process for the heat treatment of cores made of an amorphous alloy, the heat treatment in the vicinity of the crystallization point being used to reduce the permeability.
- a heat treatment of 1 h to a maximum of 6 h at a temperature of about 430 ° C. is proposed.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a method with which the properties of the cores can be adjusted so that, with the same remanence as known cores, a particularly low coercive field strength results, so that very small permeability values can be achieved with a still acceptable coercive field strength.
- the invention is based on the knowledge that the crystalline precipitates formed by a heat treatment on the surface of iron-rich amorphous ribbons slowly grow into the interior of the ribbon at a limited temperature, so that an increasing thickness of the crystalline surface layer can be achieved by extending the heat treatment over time without Seeds for crystals form inside the band.
