Claims (8)

1. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection pour chaussures de sécurité, comportant une paroi frontale (2) renforcée et, des deux côtés, des parois latérales (3) renforcées adjacentes dont les bords supérieurs sont reliés par une plaque (4) et dont les bords inférieurs, pourvus de bandes de bordure (5), peuvent être à leur tour reliés par des traverses de fond (6), ou formés au moins partiellement par une plaque de fond (7), caractérisé en ce que la paroi frontale (2) et les parois latérales (3) renforcées sont formées dans la zone de bordure de la plaque (4), vers le haut, par un bourrelet (9) en relief par rapport à la plaque (4), et qui constitue en même temps un renfort pour l'angle (8) de pourtour.
2. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le bourrelet (9) se rétrécit en s'éloignant de la paroi frontale (2).
3. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que la paroi frontale et/ou la paroi latérale (2, 3) ont une épaisseur comprise entre 4 et 8 mm.
4. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la paroi frontale et/ou la paroi latérale (2, 3) présentent une rainure (11) continue, dans la zone de transition vers la plaque de fond (7) ou les bandes de bordure (5).
5. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon les revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'une matière plastique élastique se trouve dans le volume (10) situé au-dessus de la plaque (4), jusqu'à environ la hauteur du bourrelet (9).
6. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que ce matériau présente de bonnes caractéristiques d'amortissement.
7. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon les revendications 5 et 6, caractérisé en ce que l'on donne à ce matériau la forme d'une construction amortissant les chocs.
8. Embout de chaussure en matière thermoplastique moulée par injection selon les revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que l'embout de chaussure (1) est réalisé en un polycarbonate à base de bisphénol A, renforcé par fibres à raison de 5 à 30 % en poids, en particulier entre 8 et 15 % en poids, ainsi qu'en un agent de modification de la résilience.
