Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft Dekorationskörper aus Glas.
  • Dekorationskörper aus Glas mit einer facettierten konvexen Außenseite, wie Gläser oder Schalen, sind seit lengem bekannt.
  • Es ist jedoch nicht bekannt, Dekorationskörper aus Glas zu schaffen, deren konkave Innenseite facettiert ist. Dies liegt daran, daß bei einer konkaven Fläche einzelne Facetten nicht eingeschliffen und optisch poliert werden können.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Dekorationselemente zu schaffen, die sich durch größeres Feuer aufgrund der Mehrfachreflektion des Lichtes auszeichnen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, daß dies dadurch erreicht werden kann, daß auch die Innenseite der Dekorationskörper aus Glas facettiert wird.
  • Die erfindungsgemäßen Dekorationskörper aus Glas zeichnen sich durch besonderes Feuer und damit eine besondere ästhetische Wirkung aus.
  • Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Dekorationskörper aus Glas, der dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß er eine konkave Innenfläche (2) aufweist, die kugel- oder zylinderförmig ist und die vollständig mit fugenlos aneinanderschließenden Dekorationselementen aus Glas, die eine kugel- oder zylinderflächenförmige Unterseite und eine plane oder facettierte Oberseite aufweisen, verklebt ist, so daß die Innenseite des Dekorationskörpers facettiert ist.
  • Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand der Zeichnung, die beispielshafte Ausführungsformen zeigt, näher erläutert.
  • Es zeigen:
    • Fig. 1 ein Dekorationselement im Querschnitt;
    • Fig. 2 ein Dekorationselement in Draufsicht;
    • Fig. 3 einen Dekorationskörper, dessen konkave Innenseite mit Dekorationselementen ausgelegt ist, im Querschnitt;
    • Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht auf den Dekorationskörper gemäß Fig. 3.
  • In Fig. 3 ist im Querschnitt ein Dekorationskörper 1 gezeigt, beispielsweise eine Schale. Die Außenseite 7 des Dekorationskörpers ist in bekannter Weise mit Facetten 10 versehen.
  • Zur Erhöhung des Feuers des Dekorationskörpers ist auch die konkave Innenfläche 2 facettiert. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß eine Vielzahl von Dekorationselementen 3 nebeneinander auf der Innenfläche 2 angeordnet werden, so daß sie eine geschlossene Innenfläche bilden.
  • Das Auslegen der konkaven Innenseite 2 des Dekorationskörpers 1 mit den einzelnen Dekorationselementen 3 ist aus Fig. 4 gut zu ersehen. Die Umrißform der Dekorationselemente 3 ist die eines gleichschenkligen Dreiecks. Mit Dreiecken können Kugelflächen besonders gut ausgelegt werden. Insbesondere werden gleichschenkelige dreieckige Umrisse bevorzugt. Neben dreieckigen Umrissen können z.B. auch vier-, fünf- oder sechseckige Umrisse verwendet werden.
  • Konkave Fläche sind in aller Regel mehr oder minder exackte Kugelflächen, oder Zylinderflächen, da sich diese als einzige leicht schleifen und polieren lassen. Es gibt aber auch asphärische Flächen. Im Rahmen vorliegender Erfindung werden unter Kugelflächen auch asphärische Flächen verstanden.
  • Gemäß der Erfindung gelingt es somit erstmals, einen Vollschliffkörper zu schaffen, d.h. einen Körper, der auf seiner Innenseite wie seiner Außenseite facettiert ist.
  • Der Rand des Dekorationskörpers wird vorzugsweise plan geschliffen.
  • Ein Beispiel eines Dekorationselementes mit dreieckiger Umrißform ist in den Fig. 1 und 2 gezeigt.
  • Die Unterseite 4 des Dekorationselementes 3 ist sphärisch und der Innenseite 2 des Dekorationskörpers 1 angepaßt. Die Oberseite 5 ist facettiert. Der Rand 6 ist nach unten außen abgeschrägt, damit die einzelnen Dekorationselemente 3 fugenlos aneinanderschließen.
  • Die Dekorationselemente 3 werden auf den Dekorationskörper 1 aufgeklebt. Geeignete farblose Klebstoffe sind bekannt. Auch lebensmittelbeständige Klebstoffe sind verfügbar, so daß die Dekorationselemente als beispielsweise Obstschalen. Tringgefäße etc. verwendet werden können.

Claims (3)

1. Dekorationskörper aus Glas, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er eine konkave Innenfläche (2) aufweist, die kugel- oder zylinderförmig ist und die vollständig mit fugenlos aneinandersehließenden Dekorationselementen (3) aus Glas, die eine kugel- oder zylinderflächenförmige Unterseite (4) und eine plane oder facettierte Oberseite (5) aufweisen, verklebt ist, so daß die Innenseite des Dekorationskörpers facettiert ist.
2. Dekorationskörper nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dekorationselemente (3) eine dreieckige oder fünfeckige Umrißform haben.
3. Dekorationskörper nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dekorationselemente (3) einen nach unten außen abgeschrägten Rand (6) aufweisen.
