Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Walzgerüst mit zwei Arbeits­ walzen (2, 3), deren Walzballen deckungsgleiche über ihre Länge konvex gekrümmte Konturen aufweisen und die ggf. an Stützwalzen (6, 7) anliegen. Zur Erzeugung planer Bän­ der war es bekannt, die Arbeitswalzen (2, 3) so zu bombie­ ren, daß nach der Biegung der Walzen unter Walzkraft die Biegung durch die Bombierung kompensiert war und somit ein planes Band entstand. Als nachteilig wurde erkannt, daß die gewählte Bombierung in der Praxis nur für eine be­ stimmte Walzkraft und eine bestimmte Bandbreite richtig war. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es deshalb, eine Walzen­ bombierung zu schaffen, mit der unterschiedliche Bänder unterschiedlicher Breite herstellbar sind. Zur Lösung der Aufgabe wird vorgeschlagen, die Walzen (2, 3) über ihre Ballenbreite unterschiedlich, jedoch stets konvex zu bom­ bieren, so daß sich eine Zigarrenform der Walzen (2, 3) ergibt wobei der größte Durchmesser (D) außerhalb der Mitte dieser Walzen, jedoch - bezogen auf die jeweils ge­ genüberliegende Arbeitswalze (2 oder 3) - auf der anderen Seite der Walzmitte (8) liegt. Die Walzen (2, 3) sind in Achs­ richtung verstellbar.
