Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lock, in particular for doors or windows, in which two latches, each pivotable about an axis, are provided on one component, the mutually facing ends of which, in the closed state, engage behind an undercut surface of a locking bolt attached to the other component, the locking bolt in cross section has a wedge-shaped or conical tip with which the two traps can be pressed apart against spring force.
  • the latches are arranged pivotably about a common axis, both latches being in the form of a two-armed lever, at one end of which the sections of the latches engaging behind the undercut surface of the locking bolt and at the other end of which the spring presses the latches against one another is arranged.
  • a disadvantage of this known arrangement is that the known lock can be opened relatively easily by external action, provided that a tool is inserted between the two traps which can be guided against one another in order to spread them apart. However, if the traps are spread apart, the door or window can be opened easily.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to design a lock of the type mentioned in such a way that its unauthorized forced opening without a key is at least considerably more difficult.
  • the two latches are designed as translationally movable slides lying in a common plane, the pivot axes of which are arranged approximately in the longitudinal center of the respective latch, with the outer surfaces of the latches being at a distance from one another on the side facing away from the locking bolt have inner housing wall of the lock and in the channel formed in this way a locking block which can be moved in the alignment of the latches is arranged, the length of which is shorter than the distance from the respective pivot axis to the center-facing latch end, and in the locking position the locking blocks in the region of the outwardly pointing ends Traps lie.
  • the lock is firmly locked in this position or it can be opened again by retracting the locking bolt. If the locking blocks are located beyond the respective pivot axes of the slider in the area of the longitudinal outside of the lock, then this position of the locking blocks supports the respective outer end of the latches against the inner wall of the housing, so that the latches cannot be pivoted outward about their pivot axis. Movement of the locking blocks inwards overruns the pivot axis of the latches, so that the outer ends of the latches are no longer supported and the latches can be pivoted in the opening direction. For the purpose of opening, the two locking blocks are therefore expediently displaceable inwards with a key or the like.
  • the two locking blocks are expediently provided with at least one projecting web or the like, which is directed against the housing walls lying at right angles to the pivot axes of the latches.
  • the web-receiving, extending along the latch guide grooves are provided in the housing walls, so that the locking blocks maintain their position in relation to the housing when the latch is pivoted.
  • latches are provided on their side facing the locking bolt with bevels which open outwards in order to facilitate the entry of the locking bolt.
  • Any gear can be used to move the locking blocks, which causes two parts to move in opposite directions.
  • this movement can be brought about by using a pinion with toothed racks arranged on two opposite sides of the pinion or by an equilateral lever, on the two free ends of which the locking blocks acting on rods are articulated.
  • the spring can be applied via an intermediate wall, which in turn acts on the outer ends of the traps.
  • This intermediate wall can be movable in mutually opposite guides of the lock housing, their inward movement being limited by the length of the guides, so that the latches can be pivoted out in a simple manner.
  • the lock is installed vertically in a door leaf.
  • the installation of the lock according to the invention is also possible in the frame, if the circumstances allow it.
  • the latches are also locked in their translational direction in their closed position.
  • a locking pin or the like which can be actuated together with the locking blocks and which can be snapped into the latches can be provided, which holds the latches in their translational closed position.
  • the locking blocks can also be displaced by electromagnetic means, for example by a slider being acted upon by two electromagnets acting in opposite directions, so that the locking blocks are moved toward or away from one another.
  • This loading can take place according to the meaning of the object of the application by means of a key.
  • FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the lock according to the invention with the housing wall removed in FIG. 1 at the top.
  • FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a lock 1 designed according to the invention.
  • the lock is shown without the upper housing wall in FIG. 1, that is to say in the open state.
  • the lock has two latches 3 and 4 arranged in a cuboid housing 2, which are located in a common plane and can be pivoted about pivot axes 5 and 6 which are fixedly connected to the housing.
  • the pivot axes 5 and 6 pass through elongated holes 7 and 8 in the traps, so that the traps 3 and 4 can also be displaced translationally in the region of these elongated holes.
  • the traps 3 and 4 are pressed against one another by springs 9 and 10, and in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, partition walls 11 and 12 can be provided between the springs 9 and 10 and the traps 3 and 4.
  • the latches have bevels 13 and 14 pointing outwards in the closing direction in order to facilitate the entry of a locking bolt 15 which is fastened to the other component 16 of the lock and can be inserted between the bevels 13 and 14 in the direction of arrow 17.
  • the locking bolt 15 has an undercut surface 18 which, after passing between the latches 3 and 4, is engaged by the latches 3 in the manner to be described.
  • Length L is shorter than the distance B of the respective pivot axis 5 and 6 from the trap end pointing towards the center.
  • the housing 2 of the lock is provided with a lower housing slot 24 and a lateral housing slot 25, through which the latches according to FIG. 6 can also be swung out.
  • Figures 2 to 6 show different operating states of the lock according to the invention.
  • 2 shows the locked state of the lock, two springs 9 and 10 being provided in the exemplary embodiment shown there, which act on the associated intermediate walls 11 and 12. 2, the locking blocks 20 and 21 are each pushed outwards, so that the outer ends of the latches 3 and 4 are supported against the locking blocks 20 and 21 and via these against the housing inner wall 19. A pivoting of the latches 3 and 4 about the associated pivot axes 5 and 6 is therefore not possible in the state shown in FIG. 2.
  • a locking pin 28 or the like can be provided in the locking position according to FIGS. 2 and 4, which is used in the closed position, for example, is pivoted in, and the latches 3 and holds 4 in their closed position.
  • Fig. 5 shows an operating state in which the locking position is released.
  • the two locking blocks 20 and 21 are moved in the direction of arrows 29 and 30 inwards, so that their outer ends are outside the longitudinal position of the pivot axes 5 and 6.
  • the outer ends of the latches 3 and 4 are released so that they can now pivot about the axes 5 and 6 when a pressure in the direction of arrow 31 is exerted on the central ends of the latches 3 and 4 by means of the locking bolt 15.
  • the locking blocks 20 and 21 are moved in the opposite direction, that is to say in the direction of the arrows 32 and 33, where they meet the rear ends of the latches 3 and 4 and move them into the locking position take along according to Fig. 2.
  • the door or the window can be closed again by inserting the locking bolt 15 in the manner described.
  • Fig. 7 is a perspective view similar to Fig. 1, in which the locking blocks 20 and 21 are shown pulled out for clarity.
  • Fig. 7 shows an embodiment for actuating the locking blocks.
  • toothed racks 34 and 35 are connected to the locking blocks 20 and 21, the toothings of which face one another and between which a pinion 36 is arranged.
  • a rotation of the pinion 36 thus causes a simultaneous action on both racks, so that, depending on the direction of rotation, the locking blocks 20 and 21 are moved towards or away from one another. Since the actuation of the locking blocks is the actual closing process, access to the pinion can be secured by a key 37, so that the pinion 36 can only be rotated with the aid of a key.
  • the arrangement of Fig. 7 also has the advantage that it is largely self-locking.
  • Fig. 8 shows a top view of another embodiment for actuating the locking blocks 20 and 21.
  • the locking blocks 20 and 21 are fastened to rods 38 and 39, the free ends of which are articulated to an equilateral lever 40 which is pivotable about an axis 41 is.
  • the locking blocks 20 and 21 are moved towards or away from one another.
  • Fig. 9 is the section IX - IX of FIG. 1 and shows an embodiment for the locking blocks 20 and 21, which causes the locking blocks, for example, in the pivoted-out state of the traps 3 and 4 of FIG. 6 can not change their position.
  • the locking blocks according to FIG. 9 are provided with at least one projecting web 42, which in a guide groove 43 of the associated Engages the housing wall, which extends along the traps.
  • the guide groove 43 is located in the lower housing cover 44 according to FIGS. 1 and 7, which is therefore at right angles to the case axes 5 and 6.
  • Corresponding grooves can also be provided in the upper housing cover 45, provided that the gear termination described allows this.
  • Fig. 10 is the section X - X of FIG. 7 and shows the embodiment shown in all previous figures, in which the axis 5 is fixedly connected to the housing covers 44 and 45, while an elongated hole 7 is in the cut case 3.
  • FIG. 11 shows the reversal, in which elongated holes 46 and 47, which extend parallel to the housing wall 19, are located in the upper and lower housing covers 44 and 45, the pivot axis 5 being part of the latch 3, that is to say fixedly connected to the latter.
  • spacer rings can be provided on the swivel axes or, as shown in FIG. 11, paragraphs 48, which keep the traps at a distance from the surrounding housing walls.
