Definitions

  • the present invention relates to staircases and more particularly to prefabricated straight staircases.
  • Prefabricated concrete staircases generally make it possible to save time both at the manufacturing level and at the installation of the staircase on the site.
  • the manufacturing gains are of course a function of the quantity of stairs to be produced, they are also a function of the simplicity and the number of elements that make up the stairs.
  • the invention aims to produce a staircase adapted both to an industrialization of manufacturing and to a wide field of application because of its simplicity.
  • This type of staircase according to the invention, is suitable as an entrance staircase for a pavilion, cellar staircase, interior building staircase; it is easy to install without handling equipment due to its reduced weight.
  • the elements of steps which compose it allow a great flexibility of use going from the steep staircase to the more elongated staircase, each step remaining perfectly horizontal whatever the slope of the staircase.
  • a staircase of this type consisting of prefabricated elements, is described in document FR-A-1 083 410; it includes stringers supporting a plurality of steps placed variably, one on top of the other.
  • the stringers have regularly spaced rounded bosses, on which the steps bear.
  • the prefabricated step elements must preferably be adapted on site to match the notch provided under the step with the corresponding boss of the stringer. Then, the limon-marble connection does not offer a very great stability and the risks of slipping exist; they are only removed by placing concrete between the steps and the stringers after the staircase has been assembled.
  • the invention aims to offer great stability of the steps, in particular by eliminating all risks of slipping of the steps relative to the stringer.
  • the invention therefore relates to a prefabricated straight staircase of the type described in FR-A-1 083 410 and consisting of at least one stringer supporting, in an adjustable manner, several identical walking elements, said stringer being provided, on its upper part, regularly spaced support members, each having a rounded bearing surface on which rests a rounded surface of corresponding shape of a step element.
  • each element comprising, in a single piece, a horizontal platform and an extreme vertical wall forming the riser, situated above said platform and supporting the platform of an immediately upper step element.
  • the staircase is characterized in that the support members disposed on the stringer consist of transverse notches in the shape of a rounded Vee in the lower part, which each receive a foot with rounded end, located under each platform , as an extension of the riser and that the underside of each platform has a heel provided with an inclined face coming into contact with an edge of the rear upper part of a riser of an immediately lower step element.
  • the rounding has a radius substantially equal to half the thickness of the foot so as to correspond to the rounding of said foot thus allowing pivoting of the foot, and therefore of the element of walking, in the corresponding notch.
  • the plane passing through the inclined face of the heel is substantially perpendicular to the stringer in its average position of inclination.
  • the staircase as shown is arranged between a ground level 1 and the landing of an upper level 2.
  • the or each stringer 3 of the staircase is prefabricated in a stick in the form of a beam; it is placed and sealed in housings 4 and 5 prepared at level 1 and at level 2. These housings are adapted to the ends of the stringers, which ends are either perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stringers, or horizontal as shown on the figure.
  • each stringer 3 is anchored in its lower part on level 1 and it is fixed at level 2 by means of a rail embedded in the upper part of the stringer at the time of molding and its projecting part in dovetail, s '' fits into a complementary form 5 embedded under level 2, so that the stringer can be put in place by one or two people and its sealing is carried out at the bottom, at the level of housing 4, at the same time as the installation of the first prefabricated step element 6.
  • This first element 6 serves as a reference for the concreting of level 1.
  • the step proper or platform 7 being embedded in this concreting.
  • the prefabricated tread element 6 consists of the tread proper or ptateforme 7 and a vertical wall 8 serving on the one hand as riser 9 and foot 10 on the other hand, which foot protrudes below the tread properly said or platform of a height substantially equal to the thickness of said step proper or platform.
  • the actual step or platform 7 and the wall 8 are in one piece; they are made of concrete, obtained by molding and reinforced as appropriate.
  • the foot 10 is disposed in the first notch 11 at the bottom of the stringer and is supported on the horizontal bottom thereof.
  • the notches 11 are arranged transversely and are regularly spaced on the upper face of or each stringer 3: they are obtained by molding and have a V-shaped section with a rounding at the tip.
  • This rounding which corresponds to a portion of the cylinder casing to which the sides of the Vee forming the notch 11 are connected, receives the foot 10 of the step element 6.
  • the radius of the rounding is substantially equal to half of the thickness of the foot 10.
  • Said anchoring foot has its rounded lower end also to match the shape of the bottom of the notch 11.
  • the opening of the V of the notch corresponds to the angle formed by the wall 8 in its extreme tilt positions.
  • the height obtained between said steps proper or platforms 7 can vary while remaining uniform from a step proper or platform to the other.
  • a heel 12 disposed under each step.
  • This heel 12 has an inclined face 13 in contact with the rear upper edge 14 of the riser 9.
  • the heel 12 is obtained directly by molding, it extends over the entire lower part of the step proper or platform.
  • the inclined face 13 of the heel is substantially planar, and it lies in a plane which is perpendicular to the average position of the or each stringer 3, that is to say between its maximum inclination and its minimum inclination.
  • the tread proper or platform 7 rests on the riser 9; the edge 14 is in contact with the upper end of the inclined face 13 of the heel 12.
  • the maximum inclination of the stringer is obtained when the edge 14 is located at the lower end of the inclined face 13 of the heel 12.
  • the space 15 between the underside of the tread proper or platform 7 and the upper part of the riser 9 is filled with concrete to strengthen the base of the tread on the riser.
  • the edge 14 of the riser 9 can, on the other hand, be slightly rounded to avoid excessive fragility.
  • the staircase is produced by successively mounting the tread elements 6 in superposition, by pressing the feet of said elements in the notches 11 regularly spaced on the or each stringer.
  • the last upper notch 11 receives the upper prefabricated element 6 on which the riser will come to bear the landing step 16 consisting of a slab sealed on the landing of level 2 in the extension of the yoke 17: the landing step can also be produced directly, by a formwork on the last riser, when the screed 17 of level 2 is poured.
  • the invention allows more or less steep stairs to be produced using the same prefabricated step elements in which the stair nosings are more or less pronounced.
  • the width of the prefabricated element is variable depending on the width of the staircase to be made and this element can be supported by a wide central stringer or by several strings each having foot positioning notches.
