- the electrical system for controlling the opening comprises a motor of sufficient power to overcome the resistance of the elastic return member of the pawl and of low reversibility torque, and an elastic element interposed between the motor and the pawl drive lever, this element being put under elastic stress by the motor and being able to relax elastically when the latter is no longer under tension, in order to return the motor to its initial position, the lever and the pawl being elastically returned to their initial position, after release of the bolt and its pivoting to its open position.
- the elastic return element of the opening control kinematics is a spiral spring mounted coaxially on an axis driven by the motor output shaft, with one end fixed to this axis and its other end secured with it support plate, and the motor shaft is connected to the lever by means ensuring the tilting of the latter and the latch in the direction which releases the bolt when the motor is running and puts the spiral spring under tension.
- the low reversibility torque of the motor allows the use of a return spring, preferably of the spiral type, which has the particular advantage of presenting a torque varying little for large strokes.
- FIG. 1 a lock 1 mounted on a door 2 of a motor vehicle, and which cooperates with a keeper 12 fixed on a body amount 19, this keeper being composed of a folded sheet 13 and a pin 16, the sheet 13 being fixed to the upright 19 by two screws 15.

- the bolt 20 has two arms 20a, 20b defining between them a notch , and the edge of the door 2 has a transverse notch 50 , which is adapted as well as the notch of the bolt 20 to receive the pin 16 of the keeper 12 when the door 2 of the vehicle is closed.
- the pawl 3 is provided with a lug or pin 3b and a lower spoiler 3a, and it is constantly elastically stressed by a spring 21 which tends to rotate it around its axis 18 in the counterclockwise direction, coming from lean on one or the other of the arms 20a.20b of the bolt 20, depending on whether the lock is in the "full closing" position (arm 20a) or "first security” (arm 20b).

These parts are dimensioned so that if the nut 5 is moved from one end to the other of the screw 6, for example from left to right in Figures 1 and 2, this nut correlatively rotates the lever 4 via the tongue 4b.
- the opening control mechanism also comprises an electromechanical system which is more particularly the subject of the invention, and which has the function of controlling the movements of the nut 5 on the screw 6.
- This electromechanical system comprises a motor electric 9 fixed to the upper part of the support plate 10, a reduction gear train 7 making the connection between the motor 9 and the nut 5, and an elastic member for returning the nut 5 to its initial position, consisting in this example by a spiral spring 8 capable of actuating the gear train 7 and the motor 9 in opposite directions after stopping the latter.
- the motor 9 is direct current, its electrical supply being provided by a connector 23 with the interposition of two tabs 24, 25.

- a motor pinion 9a is fixed to the end of the output shaft of the motor 9, and is engaged with a toothed wheel 7a secured to a shaft 7c, on the end of which is coaxially mounted the spiral spring 8. A end of the latter is secured with the shaft 7, while its other end is fixed by any suitable means to the upper part of the support plate 10.
- the shaft 7 also carries a pinion 7b which meshes with a wheel 6a. coaxial with the screw 6, which '' it can rotate in one direction or the other, depending on the direction of rotation of the output shaft of the motor 9, depending on whether the driving force is supplied by the motor 9 or the spring 8
- a torsion spring 29 mounted in a manner known per se, constantly biases the lever 4 in rotation counterclockwise, so that the tongue 4b is constantly pressed against the nut 5, and towards a stop- , stop 28 secured to the housing.

- the lock is closed ( Figure 2) and in the event of failure of the power supply system, it is thus possible to raise the pawl 3 by pulling on the rod 33, so as to release the bolt 20 from the retaining spoiler 3a, and to allow the opening of the lock by tilting the bolt 20 and striker extraction 12.
- the motor 9 is chosen so that for a supply voltage of 12 volts, its motor torque is greater than 25 mm / N, and its reversibility torque is less than 2 mm / N.
- the spring 8 relaxes and then drives in reverse rotation the shaft 7 which drives the motor 9 also in reverse rotation by means of the pinions 7a, 9a, as well as the screw 6 by means of the pinion 7b. and wheel 6a.
