Abstract

Ein Rigg für ein Segelbrett (3) umfaßt einen Mast (5) und eine Spiere (13) zum Halten und Verstellen des Segels (11). Die Spiere ist dazu vorzugsweise mit einer nach außen gekrümmten Gabelanordnung versehen, zwischen der das Segel (11) geführt ist, wobei das unverstagt, auf dem Segelbrett (3) befestigte Rigg (1) über ein Gelenk allseitig frei dreh- und schwenkbar ist. Das Segel (11) wird mit seinem Vorliek am Mast (5) gehalten und ist mit der Spiere (13) über dem vom Mast (5) abgewandten Ende verbunden. Um eine deutlich bessere Windausnützung zu ermöglichen und damit bei einer gegebenen Windstärke ein deutlich höhere Geschwindigkeit zu erzielen ist der Mast (5) gabelförmig mit zwei zum Oberliek (23) hin divergierenden Mastabschnitten (9) ausgebildet, wobei das Segel (11) die Form eines Doppelsegels aufweist, und die beiden oberen Segelab­ schnitte (11b; 11c) mit ihrem Vorliek am zugeordneten gabelförmigen Mastabschnitt (7,9) gehalten werden. Dabei ist also der Mast (5) und das Vorliek des Segels (11) Y-förmig ausgebildet, wobei das Segel (11) ferner zwei Oberlieks und nur ein Unterliek aufweist.
