Abstract

Eine Tiefdruckwalze besteht aus einem Zylinderkern und einem darauf aufgebrachten Rohr als Träger für ein Gravier­ muster. Das Rohr besteht aus maschinell gravierbarem Material mit einer Härte zwischen 95 HV und 200 HV, vorzugsweise 170 HV, das insbesondere einerseits eine problemlose Gravur ermöglicht, andererseits aber auch entsprechend der großen Härte eine hohe Lebensdauer aufweist. Durch dieses Material besteht die Möglichkeit, das Druckmuster maschinell einzugravieren. Dazu dient vorzu­ gsweise eine elektronisch gesteuerte Graviereinrichtung mit einem Diamantstichel. Ein Galvanisiervorgang und ein Ätz­ vorgang sind bei dieser erfindungsgemäßen Tiefdruckwalze entbehrlich.
