Definitions
- the invention relates to a weaving machine with a lubricating device for the weft insertion element, which lubricating device contains a guide surface for the channel having the insertion element.
- each entry element in the following, for example, a gripper projectile is assumed
- each entry element is directed at the end of the return transport path between the catch mechanism and the firing mechanism into an octagonal or octagonal guide channel adapted to it .
- This is delimited at the top by a brake felt soaked in oil, through which three adjacent sliding surfaces of the projectile are lubricated in contact with oil.
- the object of the invention is to create a weaving machine that is particularly improved in this regard.
- the invention consists in that lubricant supply openings for the entry element are provided only in those guide surfaces of the channel which lie opposite sliding surfaces of the entry element located in the channel, which slide in contact with guide elements in the shed during the following weft insertion. This makes it possible to lubricate only those sliding surfaces of the projectile shortly before the weft insertion that actually run in contact with the guide teeth during the insertion. A particularly lean lubrication can be achieved in this way. There is then no longer any danger that the fabric will become contaminated due to excessive lubrication of certain sliding surfaces of the projectile.
- the lubrication provided only on the projectile sliding surfaces protects those surfaces against abrasion on the guide teeth through which the projectile is guided in contact with the shed during the weft insertion. This also prevents contamination of the tissue due to metallic abrasion on guide teeth and projectiles.
- the projectiles 1 are shot during the weaving operation by a weft mechanism 2 according to arrow 10 through the shed 4 formed by warp threads 3. They slide in guide teeth 33 and come to a standstill position la in a catch mechanism 5 '. From there they are transported to a return transport device via a guide (not shown) (position 1b).
- the return transport device contains an endless chain 5, on which driver elements 6 are fastened.
- the projectiles 1 are conveyed back from the driver elements 6 into the firing mechanism 2 according to arrow 7 (position 1c). From there they reach the starting position ld by means of a projectile lifter 8, in which they are ready for a new entry.
- the firing mechanism 2 contains two lubricating nozzle inserts 11, 12, through which a guide channel, designated as a whole as 13, with a conical inlet part 62 for the projectiles 1 is formed.
- Oil mist feed channels are labeled 15-18. Through the channels 15-17, for example, oil mist pulses and air pulses are alternately fed into the lubricating nozzle insert 11, while the same pulses are fed into the lubricating nozzle insert 12 via the channel 18.
- the channel 16 sits in a nozzle 21 provided with a recess 63, the channel 17 in a nozzle 22 provided with a recess 64 and the channel 18 in two recesses 65, 66 having nozzles 23, 24.
- Nozzle 21 opens into the inclined surface 25, nozzle 22 in the straight surface 26, nozzle 24 also in the straight surface 26 and nozzle 23 in the inclined surface 27 in the guide channel 13.
- the recesses 63 - 66 serve to prevent air contained in the oil mist during the passage of projectile 1 can flow off.
- Projectile 1 and guide channel 13 have a polygonal, namely octagonal or octagonal cross section.
- the oblique sliding surfaces 31, 32 of the projectile 1 opposite the two inclined surfaces 25, 27 of the guide channel 13 are lubricated by the nozzles 21, 23, and the linear sliding surface 28 opposite the straight surface 26 is lubricated with oil mist.
- the projectile During the entry of the projectile 1 into the guide channel 13, the projectile has the vertical position 1c shown in FIG. The projectile then passes through the projectile lifter 8 into the horizontal position ld, in which it is prepared for the weft insertion.
- the lubrication position lc and the entry position ld are shown in dash-dot lines. The latter corresponds to the projectile position denoted by le during the entry, during which time the projectile runs within the guide teeth, only a few of which are shown in FIG. 1.3 and denoted by 33.
- the projectile 1 is guided in the guide teeth 33 during the weft insertion while touching its inclined surfaces 31, 32, which are now in the positions 31a, 32a. Furthermore, the projectile is guided through the horizontal surface 28, which has the position 28a during the weft insertion.
- the remaining surfaces 41-45 of the projectile do not form any sliding surfaces during this weft insertion, ie they do not touch the guide teeth 33. For this reason, the Surfaces 41-45 in lubrication position lc are not lubricated by nozzles 21-24. Only those sliding surfaces of the projectile 1 which come into contact with the guide teeth 33 during the immediately following weft insertion are thus lubricated.
- the arrangement is such that the projectile is rotated by 180 ° during the following entry into the guide channel 13. Then, the oblique surfaces 42, 43 and the straight surface 45 are acted upon by the nozzles 21, 23 and the straight surface 45 by the nozzles 22, 24, because these surfaces now come into contact with the guide teeth 33 during the following weft insertion. This is followed by the rotation shown again in FIG. 3, so that the surfaces 31, 32, 28 of the projectile are lubricated again, because now they come into contact with the guide teeth 33 during the following weft insertion, etc.
- projectiles of a different, for example hexagonal cross-section can be used; the channel 13 is then adapted and, for example, also hexagonal.
- the guide teeth 33 are also adapted accordingly.
- the projectile In the area of the areas 31, 41, 42 on the one hand and 32,44,43 on the other hand the projectile can be, for example, also spherical or rounded.
- gripper rods can also be used as entry elements, which are then also only lubricated on the sliding surfaces that come into contact in the guide elements.
- more or less sliding surfaces of the entry element can come into contact with the guide elements, for example, so that more or less surfaces are then lubricated through lubricant supply openings in the channel 13.
- the lubricant supply openings (nozzles) 21-24 each open at their end facing the guide channel 13 into a chamber 51 in which a felt 52 or the like soaked with lubricant is accommodated.
- the felt protrudes somewhat into the guide channel 13. Due to the felt, only the corresponding sliding surfaces 31, 32, 28 of the projectile 1 are subjected to lubrication while being touched, while the other projectile surfaces are not covered by contact lubrication by means of felt.
- the interposed lubricating felts 52 can act according to FIG. 5 under the action of a spring 54. Because the lubricating felts 52 are preferably loaded with oil mist, a time-uniform and particularly weak lubrication (lean lubrication) can be achieved for the sliding surfaces of the projectile.
- the oil supply to the nozzles 21-24 can take the form of mist or liquid. It can be carried out continuously or batchwise, if necessary according to a lubrication program be carried out in rhythm with the working cycle of the weaving machine.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 3 ein Schnitt nach Linie II - II in Fig. 2,
- Fig. 4 veranschaulicht eine weitere Ausführungsform und
- Fig. 5 eine zugehörige Einzelheit in grösserem Massstab.
