Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Schleifkörper mit Schleifkorn, wie Korund, einem Bindemittel, wie Phenolharz, oder einer gesinterten Magnesitbindung und schleifaktiven Füllstoffen oder Füllstoffen.
- Wie bereits erwähnt, bestehen Schleifscheiben, z.B. zum Trennschleifen, aus drei wesentlichen Komponenten, nämlich dem spanabhebenden Schleifmittel, einem Bindemittel, das das Schleifkorn hält und schleifaktiven Füllstoffen.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung beschäftigt sich mit dem Problem der schleifaktiven Füllstoffe.
- Diese bewirken beim Schleifprozeß chemische und physikalische Vorgänge, welche das Schleifverhalten positiv beeinflussen. Insbesondere sollen diese Füllstoffe Standzeiterhöhungen des Schleifwerkzeuges und die Herabsetzung der Erwärmung von Werkstück und Schleifkörper und damit die Vermeidung thermischer Zerstörungen bewirken. Bei manchen schwierig zu zerspanenden Werkstoffen, z.B. unlegierten, niedriggekohlten Stählen oder Titan, sind diese Füllstoffe die Voraussetzung für eine wirtschaftliche Bearbeitung.
- Ihre Wirkungen lassen sich im allgemeinen in folgende drei Hauptgruppen unterteilen:
- 1. Herabsetzung der Reibung zwischen Schleifkorn, Werkstück und Spänen, d.h. die Füllstoffe bzw. ihre Folgeprodukte müssen als Hochtemperatur- und Hochdruckschmiermittel wirken. Sie können dabei einen primären Schmierfilm in Form eines Schmelzfilmes (z.B. Kryolith) oder eines Feststoffschmierfilmes (Graphit, Molybdänsulfid, Bleioxid) bilden. Es können aber auch sekundäre Filme entstehen: Metallchlorid (-sulfid) als Füllstoff→Chlor-(Schwefel-)-abspaltung→Metallchlorid (sulfid) des geschliffenen Werkstoffes.
- 2. Schutzwirktirigen durch Bilden von primären bzw. sekundären Oberflächenfilmen auf Korn, Werkstück und Spänen (analog Punkt 1). Dadurch werden Kornzerstörung durch Diffusionsvorgänge (z.B. Spinellbildung beim Schleifen von Eisenwerkstoffen mit Korund), Aufbauschneiden am Korn und Wiederaufschweißeffekte (Späne und Werkstoff) vermieden.
- 3. Kühleffekte im Mikrobereich durch hohe Schmelz-, Verdampfungs- und Umwandlurigswärmen und temperaturmäßig günstig gelegene thermische Umwandlurigspunkte.
- In der Praxis sind allerdings zahlreiche Substanzen nicht oder nur unter besonderen Voraussetzungen einsetzbar, weil sie teuer (Edelmetall-Halogenide, Molybdänsulfid) bzw. toxisch (Arsen-, Selen-, Blei-Verbindungen) sind, die Scheibenfestigkeit herabsetzen (z.B. Graphit, Schwefel) bzw. hygroskopisch oder zumindest leicht wasserlöslich (zahlreiche Chloride) sind bzw. mit dem ungehärteten Phenolhyrzsystem stark reagieren (hygroskopische Chloride).
- Zusammenfassend kann also gesagt werden, daß ein optimaler schleifaktiver Füllstoff günstige Umwandlungstemperaturen und chemisch reaktive Abspaltprodukte aufweisen muß, daß er und seine Folgeprodukte möglichst geringe Toxizität und damit hohe MAK-Werke aufweisen sollen, daß er kostengünstig sein soll und daß seine Verarbeitung in Schleifkörpern industriell also nicht nur unter Laborbedingungen möglich sein muß.
- Insbesondere beim Fertigen von Scheiben mit Resol als Bindemittel bringen hygroskopische Füllstoffe den Nachteil mit sich, daß das Bindemittel frühzeitig abbindet.
- Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, Schleifkörper mit schleifaktiven Füllstoffen zu schaffen, die eine gute Verarbeitbarkeit der Schleifmasse mit guten schleif- technischen Eigenschaften und niedrigen 14AK-Werten kombinieren.
- Dies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß mindestens ein Teil der schleifaktiven Füllstoffe Metallhalogenide bzw. Metallkomplexsalze mit folgendem Aufbau sind:
- Vorteilhaft ist vorgesehen, daß mindestens ein Teil der schleifaktiven Füllstoffe, Manganhalogenide bzw. Mangankomplexsalze sind.

- Ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung sieht vor, daß die Mangankomplexsalze folgende Formel haben: K2MnCl4.
- Die Vorteile des erfindungsgemäßen Schleifkörpers sind, daß die verwendeten schleifaktiven Füllstoffe
- a) sehr geringe Hygroskopizität aufweisen,
- b) dadurch nur geringe Halogenwasserstoffabspaltung vorkommt,
- c) geringe katalytische Härtungsneigung bei Resol haben, was in diesem Fall eine gute Fertigurigsstabilität der Schleifmasse bedeutet, und daß sie
- d) eine günstige thermische Zersetzung bei Schleiftemperaturen aufweisen.
- Letzteres bringt einen hohen Leistungseffekt und gute Schnittstabilität auch bei schwierigen Werkstoffen.

- Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen Schleifkörpers:
- Das Schleifkorn wurde vorerst mit dem Resol befeuchtet, anschließend wurde die Bindung, bestehend aus dem Novolak und dem Füllstoff zügegeben und diese Masse 5 Minuten gut durchmengt. Die Mischung wurde 5 Stunden gelagert und dann verpreßt. Die Schleifscheiben wurden bei 180°C über 24 Stunden ausgehärtet.
