Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un producto alimenticio enriquecido, tal como un producto alimenticio masticable enriquecido con calcio en el que al menos una pieza del producto alimenticio proporciona la IDR recomendada diaria de calcio elemental. El producto alimenticio enriquecido tiene un gusto, una textura y una sensación en la boca sustancialmente similares a un producto alimenticio no enriquecido. El producto alimenticio también puede proporcionar vitamina D3 en un intervalo de 100-2400 UI y opcionalmente puede cubrirse con un recubrimiento aromatizado. La presente invención también se refiere a un método para producir el producto alimenticio enriquecido.
