Изобретение относится к способу получения носителя катализатора, в котором порошок диоксида циркония смешивают со связующим, при необходимости с порообразователем, при необходимости с кислотой, водой и при необходимости с другими добавками с получением способной к замешиванию композиции и композицию гомогенизируют, формуют для получения формованных элементов, сушат и прокаливают, причем связующим является мономерное, олиго-мерное или полимерное кремнийорганическое соединение. Пригодными связующими являются мономерные, олигомерные или полимерные силаны, алкоксисиланы, арилоксисиланы, акрилоксисиланы, оксиминосиланы, галогенсиланы, аминоксисиланы, аминосиланы, амидосиланы, силазаны и силиконы. Изобретение также касается носителя катализатора, который получают упомянутым способом, катализатора, содержащего носитель, и его применения в качестве катализатора дегидрирования.Международная заявка была опубликована вместе с отчетом о международном поиске.
