Claims (6)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et polymerbelagt metalsubstrat, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter følgende trin: - tilvejebringelse af et metalbånd på et substrat; - tilvejebringelse af en polymerfilm til belægning af substratet; - eventuel tilvejebringelse af et klæbelag for at fremme klæbning mellem substratet og polymerfilmen; hvor polymerfilmen bestående af ét eller flere lag fremstilles ved: - smeltning af en egnet blanding af polymergranulater i én eller flere ekstrudere; - passage af den smeltede polymer gennem ét eller flere mundstykker eller én eller flere kalandere for at danne polymerfilmen bestående af det ene eller flere lag; - afkøling af den ekstruderede polymerfilm for at danne en fast polymerfilm; - trimning af kanterne af den ekstruderede polymerfilm; - reduktion af tykkelsen af den faste polymerfilm ved strækning af den faste polymerfilm i en strækningsenhed ved udøvelse af en strækkraft alene i den langsgående retning; - eventuel trimning af den strakte polymerfilms kanter; - laminering af den strakte polymerfilm på substratet for at fremstille et polymerbelagt substrat; efteropvarmning af det polymerbelagte substrat for at reducere polymerfilmens orientering og krystallinitet; - afkøling, fortrinsvis hurtig afkøling, af det efteropvarmede polymerbelagte substrat.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den faste polymerfilm vikles op på en spole inden tilførsel til strækningsenhedens føderulle.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor den faste polymerfilm direkte tilføres strækningsenhedens føderulle. 1 Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor forholdet mellem bredden på den faste film efter strækningstrinnet i strækningsenheden og bredden på den faste film inden strækningstrinnet i strækningsenheden (WR) er mindst 0,7 og maksimalt 1.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor trækforholdet er mellem 3 og 12, fortrinsvis mindst 4 og/eller maksimalt 6. 2
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor lamineringstrykket i lamineringstrinnet ligger mellem 0,1 MPa og 10 MPa, fortrinsvis mindst 0,5 og/eller maksimalt 2,5 MPa.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det aftrimmede materiale fra trimning af kanterne på den ekstruderede polymerfilm og/eller den strakte polymerfilm føres tilbage i én eller flere af ekstruderne efter umiddelbart genbehandling af det aftrimmede materiale eller umiddelbart efter trimning.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor filmen strakt på langs omfatter eller består af én eller flere af en polymer fra polymergruppen bestående af: • polykondensater, såsom polyestere, copolyestere eller polyamider • ikke-krystallis erbare vinylpolymerer, såsom polystyren, polyacrylat, PVC eller PVDC eller • krystalliserbare polyadditionspolymerer, såsom polyolefiner.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8, hvor filmen strakt på langs omfatter eller består af polyethylenterephthalat, IPA-modificeret polyethylenterephthalat, CHDM-modificeret polyethylenterephthalat, polybutylenterephthalat, polyethylennaphthalat eller copolymerer eller blandinger deraf.
