Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en absorberende genstand af den i krav l's indledning angivne art.
Der kendes mange absorberende genstande, såsom éngangsbleer og 5 hygiejnebind. Sådanne genstande eller indlæg har almindeligvis en forholdsvis stor absorberende pude til at optage legemsvæsker,. således at de fugter kroppen og fylder meget. Éngangsbleer består almindeligvis af et fluidumuigennemtrængeligt yderlag, et f luidumgennemtrængel i g t inderlag og en mellemliggende absorberende pude af cellulose eller celluld. Sådanne kendte bleers puder er forholdsvis voluminøse, specielt i skridtområdet, hvilket medfører en dårlig pasning og en minimal komfort for bæreren.
Det er endvidere kendt i puderne at anbringe et kraftigere ab-15 sorberende materiale, f.eks. en hydrokolloid polymer. Teoretisk tillader det hydrokolloide materiale en formindskelse af pudens volumen samtidig med, at de øger pudernes ønskede absorberende og fluidumti 1bageholdende kapacitet, da disse materialer kan absorbere og tilbageholde en væskemængde svarende 20 til flere gange deres vægt. I praksis er brugen af disse materialer i absorberende genstande begrænset på grund af talrige vanskeligheder, der er foranlediget af disse materialers natur.
25 Oprindeligt foretrak man at benytte det hydrokolloide materiale i partikelform, såsom små korn eller flager, da partiklerne har en større overflade og dermed øget absorptionsevne. Dette formål tilgodeses ved, at den indledningsvist omtalte absorberende genstand ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved det i den kendetegnende del af krav 1 anførte.

Ved den absorberende genstand ifølge opfindelsen forhindres det ved hjælp af holdebanerne, at det hydrokolloide materiale vandrer før og under genstandens brug. Endvidere holdes det hydrokolloide materiale på et bestemt sted for at give en mak-35 simal absorptionsevne og fluidumtilbageholdelses- eller lagringsevne, og dets vandring i den absorberende genstand er forhindret, hvorved risikoen for en nedbrydning af den absorberende genstands pudeenhed på grund af det våde hydrokolloide

I fig. 1 og 2 ses en absorberende genstand i form af en ble 20 med en absorberende pudeenhed 22. Den foreliggende opfindelses 25 genstand kan dog også benyttes til andre absorberende genstande, såsom hygiejnebind og busteholderindlæg.
Pudeenheden 22 har et fluidumuigennemtrængeligt yderlag 24, f.eks. polyethylen, der danner bleens bagflade 26, et fluidum- gennemtrængeligt inderlag 28, der danner bleens frontflade 30, 30 og en absorberende pude 32 anbragt mellem inderlaget 28 og yderlaget 24. Den absorberende pude 32 har en pudedel 34 af cellulose- eller cellulosefnuglag, et bageste cel 1ulosevatlag 36, der danner puden 32's bagflade 38, og et forreste cellulo- sevatlag 40, der danner puden 32's frontflade 42, Front- og 3 5 bagvatlagene 40 og 36 holder pudedelen 34 sammen under brug.
Som illustreret i fig. 1 har pudeenheden 22 to sidekanter 44 og endekanter 46, der forbinder sidekanterne 44, og den absor- DK 152248B * 5 berende pude 32 har et par sidekanter 48 og endekanter 50, der forbinder sidekanterne 48. Fortrinsvis er puden 32's sidekanter 48 anbragt ved siden af pudeenheden 22's sidekanter, og yderlaget 24 med sine sidekanter 52 er foldet om og fastgjort 5 til inderlaget 28 over puden 32's sidekanter. Pudeenheden 22 har en fluidumuigennemtrængelig holdebane 56 jq anbragt mellem inderlaget 28 og det indre cellulosevat 1 ag 40. Holdebanen 56 er ikke fastgjort eller er anbragt med afstand fra vatlaget 40 i et antal med indbyrdes afstand anbragte regioner 58 og er fastgjort til vat 1 åget 40's frontflade 42 i områder eller holdepunkter 60, der omgiver regionerne 58. Hol-debanen 56 og vatlaget 40 danner derved et antal derimellem og med indbyrdes afstand anbragte lommer 62. I denne udførelsesform er lommerne 62 i det væsentlige cirkulære og er anbragt på linie med hinanden på langs og på tværs af pudeenheden 22.
Skønt holdebanen 56 kan fastgøres til frontvatlaget 40 på 20 kendt måde, f.eks. med et klæbemiddel, omfatter holdebanen 56 i en foretrukken udførelsesform en termoplastisk folie, såsom polyethylen, der f.eks. ved opvarmning, svejses til frontvat- laget i områderne 60. Holdebanen 56's områder 60 har et antal gennemgående åbninger 64, der tillader passage af legemsfluida 25 til puden 32. Skønt hullerne 64 kan formes på forskellig kendt måde, fremstilles de fortrinsvis ved perforeringer i holdebanen 56, hvilke perforeringer forstørres ved opvarmning, når holdebanen 56 svejses til puden. En sådan fremgangsmåde kendes fra DK-patentansøgning nr. 772/76. I den foreliggende udførel- 3 0 sesform er holdebanen 56 lukket i regionerne 58 for at forhindre passage af fluida mellem lommerne 62' og pudeenheden 22's frontflade 30.
Pudeenheden 22 har et hydrokolloidt materiale 66. Sådanne ma-35 terialer er f.eks.
(a) hydrolyseret stivelsespolyacrylonitrilcopolymer H-span, produkt 35-A-100, Grain Processing Corp., Muscatine, Iowa, ifølge US-patentskrift nr. 3.661.815,

6 (b) et tværbundet produkt nr. XD-8587.01L, fra Dow Corning Chemical Co., Midland, Michigan, (c) produkt nr. SGP 502S General Mills Chemical, Inc., Minnea- 5 polis, Minnesota, (d) produkt nr. 78-3710, National Starch and Chemical Corp.,
New York, (e) et hydrogelt baseprodukt, Carbowax, et varemærke fra Union 10 Carbide Corp., Charleston, West Virginia, eller (f) baseforsæbet sti velsespolyacry1 on itri 1 og podede copolyme-rer, ifølge US-patent nr. 3.435.971.
Sådanne hydrokol1 oide materialer har evnen til at absorbere 15 deres vægt mange gange i væske, såsom urin eller andre legemsfluida og kvælder op og danner en gelatines masse. De her benyttede hydrokolloide materialer kan være organiske eller uorganiske, være fysiologisk uskadelige (ikke-toksi ske) og kvælder op ved tilstedeværelse af vand på grund af deres store af- 20 finitet over for vand og danner normalt, i det mindste delvis, en suspension. Det foretrækkes, at de hydrokolloide materialer benyttes i partikelform, såsom pulver, granulat eller flager, men de kan også som opløsning påføres en eller flere af banerne .

Holdebanen 56 og frontvatlaget 40 tilbageholder det hydrokol-loide materiale 66 i 1ommerne 62 og forhindrer dets vandring under transport, lagring eller en anden håndtering af genstanden forud for brug. Det hydrokolloide materiale 66 tilbage-30 holdes således ved bestemte steder i pudeenheden 22 for maksimal nytte under brug, og de forhindres fra at forskydes til uønskede steder i pudeenheden.
Under brug af genstanden eller bleen 20 passerer legemsfluida 35 gennem åbningerne 64 i holdebaneområderne 60 og ind i puden 32, hvorefter legemsfluidaene kan passere gennem frontvat1 åget 40 ind i lommerne 62 for absorption og tilbageholdelse ved hjælp af det hydroko11 o i de materiale 66. 7 en tilstrækkelig våd styrke til at forhindre passage af det våde hydrokolloide materiale 66 gennem vatlaget 40 ind i pudedelen 34. Vatlaget 40 tjener således som en anden holdebane til at tilbageholde det våde materiale i lommerne. Det våde 5 materiale 66 hindres fra at komme ind i pudedelen 34, for at heller ikke puden nedbrydes ved forskydning, klumpning, opsplitning eller sønderrivning af pudedelen 34, hvilket ellers kunne forekomme på grund af det våde materiale 66's ustabile og slimede tekstur. Desuden forhindrer holdebanen 56's lukkede 10 regioner 58 det våde materiale 66's passage til pudeenhedens frontflade og forhindrer således, at det våde materiale berører brugerens hud. I en anden udførelsesform har holdebanen 56's regioner 58 forholdsvis små åbninger eller huller 68, se fig. 4, der ikke er så store som de hydrokolloide partikler.
15 Åbningerne 68 tillader således passage af legemsfluida ind i lommerne 62, men er tilstrækkelig små til at forhindre passage af det våde kolloidmateriale til genstandens frontflade. I denne henseende bemærkes det, at kolloidpartiklerne kvælder op, når de vædes, hvilket yderligere begrænser muligheden for 20 partiklernes passage gennem åbningerne 68. Skønt holdebanen 56 er blevet beskrevet som fastgjort til pudens frontflade, bemærkes det, at holdebanen også kan fastgøres til pudens bag-flade eller til en anden overflade af et pudelag.
25 En anden udførelsesform for den foreliggende opfindelse ses i fig. 3. I denne udførelsesform har pudeenheden 22 en anden holdebane 70 fastgjort til den første holdebane 56 i holdepunkterne eller områderne 60 og danner lommer 62 i regionerne 58 for at holde det hydrokolloide materiale 66 tilbage. For-30 trinsvis er den anden holdebane 70 fluidumuigennemtrængelig og består f.eks. af polyethylen. Den har et antal åbninger 72 på linie med åbningerne 64 i den første holdebane 56 for at tillade passage af legemsfluida gennem den første og den anden holdebane 56 og 70. Den anden holdebane 70 har også et antal 35 huller 74 i regionerne 58 for at tillade passage af legemsfluida ind i lommerne 62. I den viste udførelsesform er den anden holdebane 70 således anbragt tæt op ad puden 32's frontflade 42, således at legemsfluida under brug trænger gennem åbnin- 8

gerne 64 og 72 i holdebanerne 56 og 70 og ind i puden og fra puden 32 gennem den anden holdebane 70's åbninger 74 ind i lommerne 62 for absorption og tilbageholdelse ved hjælp af de hydrokolloide materialer 66. Som ovenfor tilbageholdes mate- j
5 rialerne 66 i lommerne 62 før og under genstandens brug. Af I
hensyn hertil er åbningerne 74 fortrinsvis ikke så store som de hydrokolloide partikler 66 i lommerne 62.
I en yderligere udførelsesform omfatter den anden holdebane 70 foruden vatlaget en cellulosebane med tilstrækkelig våd styrke til at forhindre passage af det våde hydrokolloide materiale 66. Holdebanen 70 kan også sammen med topvatlaget 40 hindre passage af sådant vådt materiale. I en foretrukken udførelsesform er i det mindste en af de to holdebaner 56 og 70 en ter-moplastisk folie, og banerne svejses sammen i områderne 60. I givet fald kan den første og den anden holdebane 56 og 70 anbringes mellem baglaget 24 og puden 32's bagflade 38, eller de kan være mellemlag i den absorberende pudes lag.
I fig. 5 ses et skematisk billede, der viser et arrangement 20 for 1ommer ifølge opfindelsen. Regionerne 58 og lommerne 62, der holder det hydrokolloide materiale tilbage, er i det væsentlige cirkulære og flugter ved at være anbragt i rækker i en langsgående midterdel af genstanden 20 mellem endekanterne 46. F.eks. kan lommerne 62 i en éngangsble være anbragt i et 25 skridtområde 76 ved legemsfluidaenes tilstrømningspunkt. Som vist i fig. 6 kan lommerne 62 anbringes tæt ved genstandens endekanter 46, altså i taljelinieområdet 78. I en yderligere udførelsesform, se fig. 7, kan lommerne 62 og regionerne 58 være aflange og kan forløbe på tværs mellem genstanden 20*s 30 sidekanter 44. I endnu en udførelsesform, se fig. 8, kan de aflange regioner 58 og 1 ommerne 62 forløbe i langsgående retning mellem genstanden 20's endekanter 46.
Σ den i fig. 9 viste udførelsesform for genstanden 20 ifølge 35 opfindelsen har pudeenheden 22 et første og et andet lag 32a og 32b af absorberende puder, og den første og den anden holdebane 56 og 70 er anbragt mellem puderne 32a og 32b. igennemtrængeligt materiale, såsom polyethylen, og er forbundet til hinanden i områderne 60, f.eks. ved svejsning, medens de er anbragt med indbyrdes afstand i regionerne 58 til dannelse af lommerne 62. Holdebanerne 56 og 70 har indbyrdes 5 flugtende åbninger 64 og 72 for at tillade passage af legemsfluida i områderne 60. Den første holdebane 56 har et antal åbninger 68 i regionerne 58 for at tillade passage af legemsfluida fra puden 32a ind i lommerne 62, medens den anden holdebane 70 har et antal åbninger 74 i regionerne 58 for at ti 1 — 10 lade passage for puden 32b ind i lommerne 62. Holdebanerne 56 og 70 tillader således passage af legemsfluida mellem puderne 32a og 32b og passage af legemsfluida fra begge puderne 32a og 32b ind i lommerne 62 for absorption og tilbageholdelse ved hjælp af det hydrokolloide materiale i lommerne 62. Som før er 15 åbningerne 68 og 74 fortrinsvis mindre store end de hydrokol-loide partikler for at reducere muligheden for partikelpassage gennem banerne 56 og 70 til et minimum. I en ændret udførelsesform for genstanden 20 kan de hullede holdebaner 56 og 70 anbringes mellem inder- og yderlagene og puden.

Fig. 10 viser en yderligere udførelsesform for den foreliggende opfindelse, hvor den første holdebane 56 er fastgjort til yderlaget 24’s indre overflade i områderne eller holdepunkterne 60, medens den afgrænser lommerne 62 i regionerne 25 58. Det hydrokolloide materiale 56 tiIbageholdes-i lommerne 62 dannet mellem den første holdebane 56 og yderlaget 24 i regionerne 58. Den første holdebane 56 er fluidumuigennemtrængelig og har et antal åbninger 68 i regionerne 58 for at tillade passage af legemsfluida fra puden 32 ind i lommerne 62 for 30 absorption og tilbageholdelse ved hjælp af det hydrokolloide materiale 66. Fortrinsvis er i det mindste enten holdebanen 56 eller laget 24 en termoplastisk folie og holdebanen 56 og laget 24 svejses sammen i områderne 60. I den i fig. 10 viste udførelsesform er regionerne 58 og lommerne 62 i det væsentii-35 ge cirkulære, jf. ovenfor, skønt de kan have enhver hensigtsmæssig form, såsom aflange lommer og regioner som vist i fig.
12 og 13.

Claims (15)

1. Absorberende genstand med et fluidumgennemtrængeligt in- derlag, et fluidumuigennemtrængeligt yderlag, mellem inder- og 25 yderlagene anbragte holdebaner, der tillader væskepassage, som mellem sig har et absorberende materiale, og som indenfor genstandens overflade er forbundet indbyrdes ved områder udsparet i det absorberende materiale, kendetegnet ved, at holdebanerne (56, 70, 24) mellem deres forbindelsesområder 3 0 danner indbyrdes adskilte lommer (62), der er fyldt med et hy-drokolloidt materiale.
2. Genstand ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at holdebanerne (56, 70), der danner lommerne (62), er anbragt på 35 den absorberende pudes (32) ene side i genstandens (20) langsgående midterdel.
3. Genstand ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at lommerne (62) er anbragt mellem endekanterne (46) i DK 152248 B u genstandens (20) skridtområde (76).
4. Genstand ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at lommerne (62) ligger tæt ved i det mindste en af gen- _ standens (20) endekanter (46). 9
