Poröse Perlitegranalie mit einem staubbindenden Überzug
Die Erfindung betrifft eine poröse Perlitegranalie mit einem staubbindenden Überzug auf ihrer Oberfläche und auf den Porenwänden. Eine solche ist bekannt. Unter dem Ausdruck "Perlite" ist ein solches vulkanisches Liparit- oder Ouarzporphyrglas zu verstehen, das durch Erhitzung auf etwa 700 bis 800 C infolge Wasserverdampfung so expandiert ist, daß es einen federleichten Gesteinsschaum von etwa zwanzigfachem Volumen darstellt.
Granalien der genannten Art werden in großem Umfang als Schüttungsrnaterialien im Bauwesen, insbesondere bei der Herstellung von Rohunterdecken sowie Fußböden verwendet, wobei die Granalien auf die rohen Dekken geschüttet und sodann als wärmedämmende, schallschluckende Unterschicht eingesetzt werden; diese Schüttungen geben bekanntlich einen besonders guten Wärme- und Schallschutz. Auch sind diese Granalien als Wärmedämmung zwischen zweischaligen Mauerelementen beim sogenannten zweischaligen Mauerwerk einsetzbar.

Bei Granalien der genannten Art hat sich die Staubbindung als nicht ausreichend erwiesen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, die Staubbindung zu erhöhen.
Diese Aufgabe wird bei einer Granalie der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß der Überzug aus Methylpolysiloxan besteht.
Die Zeichnung zeigt in Figur 1 einen Perlitegranalienkörper, in Figur 2 einen Ausschnitt aus der Oberfläche und der ins Innere gehenden Zone des Körpers in Gestalt eines Schnittes durch den in Figur 1 gezeichneten Körper.
Der Granalienkörper (1) weist sowohl auf seiner Oberfläche als auch auf den Porenwänden einen staubbindenden überzug (2) aus Methylpolysiloxan/ D*ie Poreneingänge (3) sind frei, also nicht durch den überzug verstopft.
Die erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagene Granalie wirkt auch hydrophob.
