Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Copolymer, das für eine Streckfolie und insbesondere für eine Umwickelfolie geeignet ist, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Copolymers und ein Formteil aus diesem Copolymer.
- Im allgemeinen sind elastische Rückverformbarkeit, Transparenz und in Polyvinylchlorid gefundene mechanische Festigkeit für ein Copolymer, das in einer Streckfolie, einer Schrumpffolie oder einer Umwickelfolie zu verwenden ist, erwünscht. Das Polyvinylchlorid steht jedoch bezüglich der durch die mögliche Erzeugung von schädlichen Substanzen in der Verbrennung hervorgerufenen Umweltverschmutzung in Zweifel. Gegenwärtig sind verschiedene Arten von Polymeren als Ersatz für das Polyvinylchlorid hoch angesehen, aber es ist Status quo, daß keines von ihnen im Hinblick auf die erhaltenen viskoelastischen Eigenschaften und Transparenz zufriedenstellend ist.
- Da Copolymerisation eines α-Olefins, das durch Propylen verkörpert wird, mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff, das durch Styrol verkörpert wird, unter Verwendung eines Solvay-Titantrichlorid-Katalysators durchgeführt wurde, sind Studien unter Verwendung verschiedener fester Katalysatoren durchgeführt worden. Beispielsweise sind Polymerisationsverfahren, die einen festen Katalysator verwenden, der Titantetrachlorid und einen Elektronendonor verwendet, in JP-A-60-26011 und 4-318006 offenbart. In beiden dieser Verfahren ist jedoch die Polymerisationsaktivität niedrig und ein Homopolymer wird als Nebenprodukt gebildet. Außerdem besitzt das erhaltene Copolymer eine kleine Menge copolymerisiertes Styrol, verfügt über etwas Kristallinität und ist im Hinblick auf elastische Rückverformbarkeit, Flexibilität und Transparenz nicht hinreichend.
- JP-A-8-269 134 offenbart ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Copolymers von Propylen mit Styrol, das syndiotaktische Propylensequenzen aufweist, unter Verwendung eines sogenannten homogenen Ziegler-Natta-Katalysators, der eine spezielle Verbindung eines Übergangsmetalls und eine Organoaluminiumverbindung verwendet. Das durch das Verfahren erhaltene Copolymer besitzt jedoch ebenfalls einen niedrigen Gehalt an Styrol und Kristallinität und ist im Hinblick auf elastische Rückverformbarkeit, Flexibilität und Transparenz unzureichend.
- Eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, ein neuartiges Copolymer eines α-Olefins mit 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff bereitzustellen, das Transparenz, hervorragende elastische Rückverformbarkeit und Flexibilität aufweist und kein Halogen enthält, welches als Verursacher von Umweltverschmutzung gezeigt werden kann.
- Eine andere Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieses Copolymers bei hoher Polymerisationsaktivität und ein Formteil aus diesem Copolymer, das hervorragende mechanische Festigkeit, Flexibilität und Kratzfestigkeitseigenschaft aufweist und ferner Transparenz und gute elastische Rückverformbarkeit besitzt, bereitzustellen.
- Die obengenannten Aufgaben konnten durch ein Copolymer eines α-Olefins mit 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff gelöst werden, das auf einem Herstellungsverfahren unter Verwendung einer Verbindung eines Übergangsmetalls, verkörpert durch ein Metallocen, als eine Katalysatorkomponente basiert.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Copolymer eines α-Olefins mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff worin das Copolymer eine Struktur aufweist, bei der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette des Copolymers durch zwei aufeinanderfolgende Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt sind; ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Copolymers, das die Copolymerisierung des α-Olefins mit dem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff in Gegenwart eines Katalysators, unter Verwendung von (A) und [(B) und/oder (C)], nachstehend beschrieben, umfaßt; und ein Formteil aus diesem Copolymer.
- (A) : ein Übergangsmetallkomplex der folgenden allgemeinen Formel [I]:
- (worin M¹ ein Übergangsmetallatom der Gruppe IV des Periodensystems der Elemente darstellt; A ein Atom der Gruppe XVI des Periodensystems der Elemente darstellt; J ein Atom der Gruppe XIV des Periodensystems der Elemente darstellt; Cp¹ eine Gruppe mit einem Cyclopentadienanion-Gerüst darstellt; X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6; unabhängig voneinander ein Wasserstoffatom, ein Halogenatom, einen Alkylrest, einen Aralkylrest, einen Arylrest, eine substituierte Silylgruppe, einen Alkoxyrest, einen Aralkyloxyrest, einen Aryloxyrest oder eine di-substituierte Aminogruppe darstellen; und R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6; gegebenenfalls miteinander verbunden sein können, um einen Ring zu bilden);
- (B): eine oder mehrere Aluminiumverbindungen, ausgewählt aus den folgenden (B1) bis (B3);
- (B1) eine Organoaluminium-Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel E¹aAlZ3-a,
- (B2) ein cyclisches Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen Formel {-Al(E²)-O-}b, und
- (B3) ein lineares Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen Formel E³{-Al(E³)-O-}c AlE³&sub2;,
- (worin E¹, E² bzw. E³ eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe darstellen, alle E¹, E² und E³ gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können: Z ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein Halogenatom darstellt, und alle Z gleich oder verschieden sein können; a eine Zahl, die dem Ausdruck 0 < a ≤ 3 genügt, darstellt; b eine ganze Zahl von 2 oder mehr darstellt und c eine ganze Zahl von 1 oder mehr darstellt); und
- (C) : eine Borverbindung von einer der folgenden (C1) bis (C3);
- (C1): eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel BQ¹Q²Q³,
- (C2): eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel G&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin;, und
- (C3): eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel (L-H)&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin;
- (worin B ein Boratom in dreiwertigem Zustand darstellt, Q1 bis Q4 gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können und jeweils ein Halogenatom, einen Kohlenwasserstoffrest, einen halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest, eine substituierte Silylgruppe, einen Alkoxyrest oder eine di-substituierte Aminogruppe darstellen; G&spplus; ein anorganisches oder organisches Kation darstellt; L eine neutrale Lewis-Base darstellt, und (L-H)&spplus; eine Brönsted-Säure darstellt).
- Fig. 1 ist eine Zeichnung eines Ablaufschemas zur Hilfestellung für das Verständnis der vorliegenden Erfindung. Die vorliegende Ablaufschemazeichnung ist ein typisches Beispiel für die Vorgehensweise der vorliegenden Erfindung, und die vorliegende Erfindung ist nicht darauf beschränkt.
- Fig. 2 ist ein ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum des in Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Copolymers.
- Fig. 3 ist eine Angabe der festen Viskoelastizität des in Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Copolymers.
- Fig. 4 ist eine Hysteresekurve des in Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Copolymers.
- Fig. 5 ist eine Hysteresekurve des in Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Copolymers.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung wird nachstehend im Detail veranschaulicht.
- Das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Copolymer eines α-Olefins, das 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff, worin das Copolymer eine Struktur aufweist, in der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette des Copolymers durch zwei aufeinanderfolgende Methylengruppen (m. a. W., eine Ethylengruppe) voneinander getrennt sind.
- Als das α-Olefin in der vorliegenden Erfindung umfassen Beispiele lineare Olefine, wie Propylen, 1-Buten, 1-Penten, 1-Hexen, 1-Hepten, 1-Octen, 1-Nonen und 1-Decen, verzweigte Olefine, wie 3-Methyl-1-buten, 3-Methyl-1-penten, 4-Methyl-1-penten und 5-Methyl-1-hexen und Vinylcyclohexan.
- Stärker bevorzugt ist das α-Olefin Propylen, 1-Buten, 1-Penten, 1-Hexen, 1-Hepten, 1-Octen, 4-Methyl-1-penten oder Vinylcyclohexan und insbesondere ist Propylen bevorzugt.
- Als ein aromatischer Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Alkenylverbindungen mit einem aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffrest, der 6 bis 25 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, bevorzugt. Spezielle Beispiele des aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffrests mit 6 bis 25 Kohlenstoffatomen umfassen eine Phenylgruppe, Tolylgruppe, Xylylgruppe, Tert-butylphenylgruppe, Vinylphenylgruppe, Naphthylgruppe, Phenanthrylgruppe und einen Anthrathenylgruppe. Eine Phenylgruppe, Tolylgruppe, Xylylgruppe, Tert-butylphenylgruppe, Vinylphenylgruppe oder Naphthylgruppe ist bevorzugt.
- Spezielle Beispiele eines solchen aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffs umfassen Alkylstyrole, wie p-Methylstyrol, m-Methylstyrol, o-Methylstyrol, p-Ethylstyrol, m-Ethylstyrol, o-Ethylstyrol, 2,4-Dimethylstyrol, 2,5-Dimethylstyrol 3,4-Dimethylstyrol, 3,5-Dimethylstyrol, 3-Methyl-5-ethylstyrol, p-tert-Butylstyrol und p-sec-Butylstyrol; Alkenylbenzole, wie Styrol 9- Phenylpropylen und 2-Phenylbuten; Bis(alkenyl)benzole, wie Divinylbenzol; und Vinylnaphthaline, wie 1-Vinylnaphthalin.
- Vorzugsweise ist der in der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendete aromatische Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff Styrol, p-Methylstyrol, m-Methylstyrol, o-Methylstyrol, p-tert- Butylstyrol, 2-Phenylpropylen, Divinylbenzol oder 1-Vinylnaphthalin, und Styrol ist besonders bevorzugt.
- Das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Copolymer eines α-Olefins, das 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff und seine Copolymerisationszusammensetzung ist vorzugsweise 0,1 bis 55 Mol-% als ein Gehalt der aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffeinheit, stärker bevorzugt 1 bis 35 Mol-% und am stärksten bevorzugt 6 bis 30 Mol-%. Der Rest ist die α-Olefineinheit. Liegt die Copolymerisationszusammensetzung in diesem Bereich, weist das Copolymer vorzugsweise insbesondere hervorragende Flexibilität auf. Die Copolymerisationszusammensetzung wird einfach durch ein ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum unter Verwendung von o-Dichlorbenzol als Lösungsmittel bestimmt.
- Das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung weist eine Struktur auf, in der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette des Copolymers durch zwei aufeinanderfolgende Methylengruppen (im folgenden einfach als "zwei Methylengruppen" bezeichnet) voneinander getrennt werden. Ist die α-Olefin- oder die aromatische Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff-Einheit in umgekehrter Richtung in den Molekülketten des Copolymers gebunden, nämlich wenn die Insertionsform des α-Olefins oder des aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffs nach 1,2- Insertion 2,1-Lnsertion einnimmt, werden die tertiären Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt. Die Struktur solch eines Copolymers wird einfach durch ein ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum unter Verwendung von o-Dichlorbenzol als Lösungsmittel bestimmt und wenn tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt werden, werden den Methylengruppen entsprechende Signale (Sαß) als Vielzahl von Peaks bei 30 bis 38 ppm beobachtet.
- Das Copolymer mit Positionen, in denen tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt werden, weist eine abgeschwächte Steifigkeit der Hauptkette auf und ist hervorragend hinsichtlich elastischer Rückverformbarkeit und Flexibilität.
- Das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung kann eine Struktur aufweisen, in der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette durch eine Methylengruppe voneinander getrennt werden und eine Struktur, in der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome in der Hauptkette durch drei oder mehrere Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt werden.
- Kommt beispielsweise eine sogenannte Kopf-Schwanz-Bindung, bei der zwei der α-Olefine oder aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff-Einheiten nacheinander in derselben Richtung gebunden sind, vor, sind tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch eine Methylengruppe voneinander getrennt (S α α).
- Im Hinblick auf die mechanische Festigkeit und Transparenz beträgt die Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) in dem Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung, die durch ein Verhältnis des Gewichtsmittels des Molekulargewichtes (Mw) zum Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts (Mn) dargestellt wird, vorzugsweise 1,5 bis 4,0.
- Im Hinblick auf die Transparenz ist das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung vorzugsweise ein amorphes Copolymer, das im wesentlichen keine Kristallinität aufweist. Da im wesentlichen keine Anzeichen eines Schmelzpunktes in einer DSC-Schmelzkurve vorliegen, kann bestätigt werden, daß das Copolymer im wesentlichen keine Kristallinität aufweist.
- Im Hinblick auf Transparenz, Flexibilität und elastische Rückverformbarkeit ist das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung vorzugsweise ein Copolymer, das im wesentlichen keine Stereoregularität der Konformation der α-Olefine und aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffe im Gerüst des Copolymers aufweist. Durch die Beobachtung eines Multipletts der Methylengruppen wie S α β im Signal des ¹³C-NMR-Spektrums kann bestätigt werden, daß das Copolymer im wesentlichen keine Stereoregularität der Konformation aufweist.
- Ein derartiges Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung kann bei hoher Polymerisationsaktivität hergestellt werden, beispielsweise durch die Copolymerisierung des α-Olefins mit dem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff in Gegenwart eines Katalysators, der (A) und [(B) und/oder (C)] umfaßt, die oben beschrieben wurden.
- Nachstehend wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des oben beschriebenen Copolymers erläutert.
- In der allgemeinen Formel (I) bedeutet das durch M¹ dargestellte Übergangsmetallatom ein Übergangsmetall-Element der Gruppe IV des Periodensystems der Elemente (IUPAC Inorganic Chemistry Nomenclature, revidierte Auflage, 1989), und Beispiele davon umfassen ein Titanatom, ein Zirkonatom und ein Hafniumatom. Von diesen ist ein Titanatom oder ein Zirkonatom bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für ein Atom der XVI-Gruppe, als A in der allgemeinen Formel (I) angezeigt, umfassen ein Sauerstoffatom, ein Schwefelatom und ein Selenatom. Von diesen wird ein Sauerstoffatom bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für ein Atom der XIV-Gruppe, als J in der allgemeinen Formel (I) angezeigt, umfassen ein Kohlenstoffatom, ein Siliciumatom und ein Germaniumatom, ein Kohlenstoffatom und ein Siliciumatom werden bevorzugt, und ein Kohlenstoffatom wird besonders bevorzugt.
- Die Gruppe mit einem Cyclopentadienanion-Gerüst, umfaßt, was den Substituenten Cp¹ betrifft, eine η&sup5;-(substituierte)-Cyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-(substituierte)-Indenylgruppe und η&sup5;-(substituierte)-Fluorenylgruppe.
- Spezielle Beispiele hiervon umfassen eine η&sup5;-Cyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Methylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Dimethylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Trimethylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Tetramethylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Ethylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Propylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Isopropylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Butylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-sec-Butylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-tert-Butylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Pentylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Neopentylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Hexylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Octylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Phenylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Naphthylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Trimethylsilylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Triethylsilylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-tert-Butyldimethylsilylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Indenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Methylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Dimethylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Ethylindenylgruppe η&sup5;-Propylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Isopropropylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Butylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-sec-Butylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-tert-Butylindenylgruppe η&sup5;-n-Pentylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Neopentylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;- n-Hexylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Octylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Decylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Phenylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Methylphenylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Naphthylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Trimethylsilylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Triethylsilylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-tert-Butyldimethylsilylindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Tetrahydroindenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Fluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Methylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Dimethylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Ethylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Diethylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Propylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Di-n-propylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Isopropylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Diisopropylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Butylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-sec-Butylfluorenylgruppe η&sup5;-tert-Butylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;&supmin;Di-n-butylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Di-sec-butylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Di-tert-bulylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Pentylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Neopentylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Hexylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Octylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Decylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-n-Dodecylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Phenylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Diphenylfluorenylgruppe η&sup5;-Methylphenylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Naphthylfluorenylgruppe, η&sup5;-Trimethylsilylfluorenylgruppe η&sup5;-Bis-trimethylsilylfluorenylgruppe η&sup5;-Triethylsilylfluorenylgruppe und η&sup5;-tert-Butyldimethylsilylfluorenylgruppe.
- Von diesen sind eine η&sup5;-Cyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Methylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-tert-Butylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Tetramethylcyclopentadienylgruppe, η&sup5;-Indenylgruppe und η&sup5;-Fluorenylgruppe besonders bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für das Halogenatom in dem Substituenten X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; oder R&sup6; umfassen ein Fluoratom, Chloratom, Bromatom und Iodatom, vorzugsweise ein Chloratom oder Bromatom, stärker bevorzugt ein Chloratom.
- Als der Alkylrest in dem Substituenten X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;, oder R&sup6; ist ein Alkylrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen bevorzugt. Beispiele hiervon umfassen eine Methylgruppe, Ethylgruppe, n-Prolylgruppe, Isopropylgruppe, n-Butylgruppe, sec-Butylgruppe, tert-Butylgruppe, n-Pentylgruppe, Neopentylgruppe, sec-Amylgruppe, n-Hexylgruppe, n-Octylgruppe, n-Decylgruppe, n-Dodecylgruppe, n-Pentadecylgruppe und n-Eicosylgruppe, stärker bevorzugt einen Methylgruppe, Ethylgruppe, Isopropylgruppe, tert-Butylgruppe oder sec-Amylgruppe.
- Alle diese Alkylreste können mit einem Halogenatom (Fluoratom, Chloratom, Bromatom oder Iodatom) substituiert sein. - Die substituierte Silylgruppe in dem Substituenten X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; oder R&sup6; ist eine Silylgruppe, die mit einem Kohlenwassertoffrest substituiert ist, und Beispiele dieses Kohlenwasserstoffrestes umfassen einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie eine Methylgruppe, Ethylgruppe, n-Propylgruppe, Isopropylgruppe, n-Butylgruppe, sec-Butylgruppe, ten-Butylgruppe, Isobutylgruppe, n-Pentylgruppe, n-Hexylgruppe und Cyclohexylgruppe, und einen Arylrest, wie eine Phenylgruppe. - Alle Kohlenwasserstoffreste dieser substituierten Silylgruppen können teilweise mit einem Halogenatom (Fluoratom, Chloratom, Bromatom oder Iodatom), einem Alkoxyrest, wie beispielsweise einer Methoxygruppe und einer Ethoxygruppe, einem Aryloxyrest, wie einer Phenoxygruppe oder einem Aralkyloxyrest, wie einer Benzyloxygruppe substituiert sein.
- Als der Alkoxyrest in dem Substituenten X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; oder R&sup6; ist ein Alkoxyrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen bevorzugt. - Die Substituenten R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6; können gegebenenfalls miteinander kombiniert sein, um einen Ring zu bilden.

- Der durch die obige allgemeine Formel [I] dargestellte Übergangsmetallkomplex kann beispielsweise durch ein in JP-B-9-87313 beschriebenes Verfahren synthetisiert werden.
- Das heißt, eine Verbindung mit einer Struktur, die eine Gruppe mit einem Cyclopentadienylgerüst und eine Gruppe mit einem Alkoxybenzolgerüst mittels eines Atoms der Gruppe XIV kombiniert, wird durch die Umsetzung einer Alkoxybenzolverbindung, deren ortho-Stellung halogeniert ist, mit einer Cyclopentadienverbindung, die mit einem halogenierten Atom der Gruppe XIV substituiert ist, in Gegenwart eines Organoalkalimetalls oder metallischem Magnesium erhalten.
- Dann kann ein Übergangsmetallkomplex der obigen allgemeinen Formel [I] durch die Behandlung der Verbindung mit einer Base und Umsetzung mit einem Übergangsmetallhalogenid, einer Übergangsmetallkohlenwasserstoffverbindung oder einer Übergangsmetall-Hydrocarbonoxy- Verbindung synthetisiert werden.
- Die in der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendete Aluminiumverbindung (B) umfaßt öffentlich bekannte Organoaluminiumverbindungen, das heißt, zumindest eine nachstehend beschriebene Aluminiumverbindung, die aus (B1) bis (B3) ausgewählt ist:
- (B1) eine Organoaluminiumverbindung der allgemeinen Formel E¹aAlZ3-a,
- (B2) ein cyclisches Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen Formel {-Al(E²)-O-}b und
- (B3) ein lineares Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen Formel E³{-Al(E³)-O-}cAlE³&sub2;,
- (worin E¹, E² bzw. E³ jeweils einen Kohlenwasserstoffrst darstellen, alte E¹, E² und E³ gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können, Z ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein Halogenatom darstellt und alle Z gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können, a eine Zahl darstellt, die dem Ausdruck 0 < a ≤ 3 genügt, b eine ganze Zahl von 2 oder mehr und c eine ganze Zahl von 1 oder mehr darstellt.
- Als Kohlenwasserstoffrest in E¹, E² oder E³ ist ein Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen bevorzugt und stärker bevorzugt ist ein Alkylrest.
- Spezielle Beispiele der Organoaluminiumverindung (B1), die durch E¹aAlZ3-a dargestellt wird, umfassen, Trialkylaluminiumverbindungen, wie Trimethylaluminium, Triethylaluminium, Tri-n-propylaluminium, Triisopropylaluminium, Triisobutylaluminium und Tri-n- hexylaluminium, Dialkylaluminiumchloride, wie Dimethylaluminiumchlorid, Diethylaluminiumchlorid, Di-n-propylaluminiumchlorid, Diisopropylaluminiumchlorid, Disiobutylalumniniumchlorid und Di-n-hexylaluminiumchlorid, Alkylaluminiumdichloride, wie Methylaluminiumdichlorid, Ethylaluminiumdichlorid, n-Propylaluminiumdichlorid, Isopropylaluminiumdichlorid, Isobutylaluminiumdichlorid und n-Hexylaluminiumdichlorid, und Dialkylalumiuniumhydride, wie Dimethylaluminiumhydrid, Diethylaluminiumhydrid, Di-n-Propylaluminiumhydrid, Diisobutylaluminiumhydrid und Di-n-hexylaluminiumhydrid.
- Von diesen sind Trialkylaluminiumverbindungen bevorzugt und stärker bevorzugt ist Triethylaluminium oder Triisobutylaluminium.
- Spezielle Beispiele für E² und E³ in (B2), einem cyclischen Aluminoxan mit einer Stnuktur der allgemeinen Formel {-Al(E²)-O-}b und (B3), einem linearen Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen Fromel E³{-Al(E³)-O-}cAlE³&sub2;, umfassen einen Alkylrest, wie eine Methylgruppe. Ethylgruppe, n-Propylgruppe, Isopropylgruppe, n-Butylgruppe Isobutylgruppe, n-Pentylgruppe und Neopentylgruppe usw., b ist eine ganze Zahl von 2 oder mehr, c ist eine ganze Zahl von 1 oder mehr. Jedes von E² und E³ ist vorzugsweise eine Methylgruppe oder Isobutylgruppe. B beträgt vorzugsweise 2 bis 40 und c beträgt vorzugsweise 1 bis 40.
- Das obige Aluminoxan wird durch verschiedene Verfahren hergestellt.
- Das Verfahren ist nicht besonders eingeschränkt, und das Aluminoxan kann gemäß allgemein bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden. Beispielsweise wird das Aluminoxan durch Kontaktieren einer Lösung, die durch die Auflösung eines Trialkylaluminiums (z. B. Trimethylaluminium) in einem geeigneten organischen Lösungsmittel (z. B. Benzol, aliphatischer Kohlenwasserstoff) erhalten wurde, mit Wasser hergestellt. Ebenso kann ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Aluminoxans durch Kontaktieren eines Trialkylaluminiums (z. B. Trimethylaluminium) mit einem Metallsalz, das Kristallwasser (z. B. Kupfersulfathydrat) enthält, veranschaulicht werden.
- Als die Borverbindung (C) in der vorliegenden Erfindung kann jedes von (C1), eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel BQ¹Q²Q², (C2), eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel G&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; und (C3), eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel (L-H)&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin;, verwendet werden.
- In der Borverbindung (C1) der allgemeinen Formel BQ¹Q²Q³ bedeutet B ein Boratom im dreiwertigen Zustand; Q¹ bis Q³ können gleich oder verschieden sein und stellen ein Halogenatom, einen Kohlewasserstoffrest, einen halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffrest, eine substituierte Silylgruppe, einen Alkoxyrest oder eine di-substituierte Aminogruppe dar. Jedes Q¹ bis Q³ ist vorzugsweise ein Halogenatom, ein Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, ein halogenierter Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine substituierte Silylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, ein Alkoxyrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine Aminogruppe mit 2 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, stärker bevorzugt ein Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen oder ein halogenierter Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen. Stärker bevorzugt sind Q¹ bis Q&sup4; ein fluorierter Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, der zumindest ein Fluoratom enthält, und stärker bevorzugt sind Q¹ bis Q&sup4; fluorierte Arylreste mit 6 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, die zumindest ein Fluoratom enthalten.
- Spezielle Beispiele für Verbindung (C1) umfassen Tris(pentafluorphenyl)boran, Tris(2,3,5,6-tetrafluorphenyl)boran, Tris(2,3,4,5-tetrafluorphenyl)boran, Tris(3,4,5- Trifluorphenyl)boran, Tris(2,3,4-Trifluorphenylboran und Phenylbis(pentafluorphenyl)boran, am stärksten bevorzugt Tris(pentafluorphenyl)boran.
- In der Borverbindung (C2) der allgemeinen Formel G&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; bedeutet G&spplus; ein anorganisches oder organisches Kation, B bedeutet elll Boratom im dreiweitigen Zustand und Q¹ bis Q&sup4; sind die gleichen wie für Q¹ bis Q³ definiert.
- Spezielle Beispiele für G&spplus; als ein anorganisches Kation in der Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel G&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; umfassen ein Ferrocenkation, Alkyl-substituiertes Ferrocenkation und Silberkation. Beispiele für G&spplus; als ein organisches Kation umfassen ein Triphenylmethylkation. G+ ist vorzugsweise ein Carbeniumkation, insbesondere ein Triphenylmethylkation. Beispiele für (BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; umfassen Tetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Tetrakis(2,3,5,6-tetrafluorphenyl)borat, Tetrakis(2,3,4,5-tetrafluorphenyl)borat, Tetrakis(3,4,5-trifluorphenyl)borat, Tetrakis(2,3,4-trifluorphenyl)borat, Phenyltris(pentafluorphenyl)borat und Tetrakis(3,5-bistrifluormetyhphenyl)borat.
- Spezielle Kombinationen von diesen umfassen Ferrocentetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, 1,1'-Dimethylferrocentetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Silbertetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Triphenylmethyltetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat und Triphenylmethyltetrakis(3,5-bistrifluormethylphenyl)borat, am stärksten bevorzugt Triphenylmethyltetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat.
- In der Borverbindung (C3) der allgemeinen Formel (L-H)&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; bedeutet L eine neutrale Lewis-Base: (L-H)&spplus; bedeutet eine Brönsted-Säure; B bedeutet ein Boratom im dreiwertigen Zustand und Q¹ bis Q&sup4; sind die gleichen wie für Q¹ bis Q³ definiert.
- Spezielle Beispiele für (L-H)&spplus; als Brönsted-Säure in der Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (L-H)&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; umfassen Trialkyl-substituierte Ammoniumgruppen, N,N- Dialkylaniliniumgruppen, Dialkylammoniumgruppen und Trialkylphosphoniumgruppen und Beispiele für (BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; umfassen die oben definierten.
- Spezielle Kombinationen von ihnen umfassen Triethylammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Tripropylammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Tri(n-butyl)ammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Tri(n-butyl)ammoniumtetrakis(3,5-bistrifluormethylphenyl)borat, N,N-Dimethylaniliniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, N,N-Diethylaniliniumtetrakis(pentafluorhenyl)borat, N,N-2,4,6-Pentamethylaniliniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat. N,N-Dimethylaniliniumtetrakis(3,5-bistrifluormethylphenyl)borat, Diisopropylammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Dicyclohexylammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, Triphenylphosphoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat. Tri(methylphenyl)phosphoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borate und Tri(dimethylphenyl)phosphoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat, am stärksten bevorzugt Tri(n-butyl)ammoniumtetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat oder N,N-Dimethylanilinumtetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)borat.
- In der vorliegenden Erfindung wird ein Katalysator zur Olefinpolymerisation verwendet, der eine Verbindung (A) und [eine Verbindung (B) und/oder eine Verbindung (C)] umfaßt. Wird ein Katalysator zur Olefinpolymerisation verwendet, der zwei Komponenten (A) und (B) umfaßt, sind das obige cyclische Aluminoxan (B2) und/oder das lineare Aluminoxan (B3) als (B) bevorzugt. Eine andere bevorzugte Ausführungsform des Katalysators zur Olefinpolymerisation umfast einen Katalysator zur Olefinpolymerisation, der die obigen (A), (B) und (C) umfaßt. Als (B) wird einfach das obige (B1) verwendet.
- Die jeweiligen Komponenten werden wünschenswerterweise so verwendet, daß ein Molverhältnis von (B)/(A) für gewöhnlich im Bereich von 0,1 bis 10.000 liegt, vorzugsweise zwischen 5 und 2.000 und ein Molverhältnis von (C)/(A) für gewöhnlich im Bereich von 0,01 und 100, vorzugsweise 0,5 und 10 liegt.
- Werden die jeweiligen Komponenten im Zustand einer Lösung oder in in einem Lösungsmittel suspendierten Zustand verwendet, wird die Konzentration der jeweiligen Komponenten gemäß den Bedingungen, wie der Fähigkeit eines Apparates zur Einführung der jeweiligen Komponenten in einen Polymerisationsreaktor, passend ausgewählt. Die jeweiligen Komponenten werden wünschenswerterweise so verwendet, daß die Konzentration von (A) für gewöhnlich zwischen 0,01 bis 500 umol/g, vorzugsweise zwischen 0.05 und 100 umol/g, stärker bevorzugt zwischen 0,05 und 50 umol/g liegt; die Konzentration von (B) für gewöhnlich zwischen 0,01 und 10.000 umol/g, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,1 und 5.000 umol/g, stärker bevorzugt zwischen 0,1 und 2.000 umol/g, in bezug auf das Al-Atom; und die Konzentration von (C) für gewöhnlich zwischen 0,01 und 500 umol/g, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,05 und 200 umol/g, stärker bevorzugt zwischen 0,05 und 100 umol/g.
- Als der in der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendete Katalysator kann weiterhin ein anorganischer Träger wie SiO&sub2;, Al&sub2;O&sub3; oder dergleichen und ein partikel-ähnlicher Träger, einschließlich ein organischer Polymerträger, wie ein Polymer von Ethylen und Styrol in Kombination verwendet werden.
- In der vorliegenden Erfindung unterliegt das Polymerisatiosverfahren keiner besonderen Einschränkung und jedes Verfahren, wie beispielsweise ein diskontinuierliches oder kontinuierliches Gasphasen-Polymerisationsverfahren, ein Massepolymerisationsverfahren, ein Lösungspolymerisationsverfahren oder ein Aufschlämmungspolymerisationsverfahren können angewendet werden. Wird ein Lösungsmittel verwendet, können unter der Bedingung, daß sie einen Katalysator nicht deaktivieren, verschiedene Arten von Lösungsmitteln verwendet werden, und Beispiele solcher Lösungsmittel umfassen einen Kohlenwasserstoff wie Benzol, Toluol, Pentan, Hexan, Heptan und Cyclohexan; und einen halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoff wie Methylendichlorid und Dichlorstyrol.
- Die Polymerisationstemperatur ist nicht besonders beschränkt, und üblicherweise wird ein Bereich von -100 bis 250ºC angenommen, und ein Bereich von -50 bis 200ºC wird bevorzugt angenommen. Ferner ist der Polymerisatiosdruck nicht besonders beschränkt, üblicherweise wird sie aber unter einem Druck von 10 MPa oder weniger und bevorzugt unter 0,2 bis 5 MPa durchgeführt. Weiterhin kann ein Kettenübertragungsmittel, wie Wasserstoff oder dergleichen zugegeben werden, um das Molekulargewicht des Polymers zu regulieren.
- Derartige Copolymere der vorliegenden Erfindung können für Formteile wie eine Folie, ein Blatt oder einen Behälter verwendet werden und sind insbesondere für eine Folie oder ein Blatt geeignet.
- Die Folie oder das Blatt werden beispielsweise durch Aufblasformen, wobei ein geschmolzenes Harz von einer Ringdüse extrudiert wird und eine aufgeblasene Folie röhrenförmig aufgewickelt wird, durch T-Düsen-Formen, worin ein geschmolzenes Harz von einer linearen T-Düse extrudiert wird und eine Folie oder ein Blatt aufgewickelt werden, oder durch Kalandrieren erhalten.
- Das Formteil der vorliegenden Erfindung weist hinsichtlich Kratzfestigkeit, Flexibilität und elastischer Rückverformbarkeit hervorragende Eigenschaften auf. Die Kratzfestigkeit kann mit einem HEIDON-Tester untersucht werden, und die Flexibilität und elastische Rückverformbarkeit können durch die gemäß einem Zugversuch erhaltene Hysteresekurve untersucht werden.
- Das Copolymer der vorliegenden Erfindung kann ebenso in Form eine Mehrschichtfolie oder blatt aus zwei Schichten oder mehr mit anderen Materialien verwendet werden. Die Folie oder das Blatt können durch bekannte Laminierungsverfahren wie einem Co-Extrusionsverfahren, einem Trockenlaminierungsverfahren, einem Sandwich-Laminierungsverfahren oder einem Extrusions-Laminierungsverfahren hergestellt werden.
- Die Formteile, die durch Blasformung und Spritzgießen erhalten wurden sind ebenso in die vorliegenden Erfindung einbezogen.
- Das Formteil der vorliegenden Erfindung kann je nach Bedarf bekannte Additive enthalten, wie Antioxidationsmittel, Wetter-beständige Mittel, Schmiermittel, Antistatika, Klarsichtmittel und ein Pigment. Weiterhin können bekannte polymere Materialien wie ein Polyethylen niederer Dichte, das durch ein Radikalkettenpolymerisationsverfahren erhalten wurde, ein Polyethylen höherer Dichte, ein lineares Polyethylen höherer Dichte, ein Ethylen-α-Olefin-Copolymer- Elastomer oder ein Polypropylen beigemischt werden.
- Die Folie oder das Blatt der vorliegenden Erfindung können einer bekannten Nachbehandlung mit einer Koronaentladungsbehandlung, einer Plasmabehandlung, einer Ozonbehandlung, einer Ultra-Violett-Bestrahlung oder einer Elektornenstrahlen-Bestrahlung unterzogen werden.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung wird bezogen auf die nachstehenden Beispiele und Vergleichsbeispiele im Detail veranschaulicht, der Umfang der vorliegenden Erfindung ist aber nicht darauf beschränkt.
- Ferner wurden die Eigenschaften der Polymere in den Beispielen gemäß der nachstehend beschriebenen Verfahren gemessen.
- (1) Der Glasübergangspunkt wurde mit einem Differenzial-Scanning-Calorimeter (DSC) (SSC- 5200, hergestellt von Seiko Electronics Co., Ltd.) unter den nachfolgenden Bedingungen gemessen und mittels dessen Wendepunktes bestimmt.
- Erwärmung: 20ºC bis 200ºC (20ºC/min), Erhaltung für 10 min
- Abkühlung: 200ºC bis -50ºC (20ºC/min), Erhaltung für 10 min
- Messung: -50ºC bis 300ºC (20ºC/min)
- (2) Molekulargewicht und Molekulargewichtsverteilung wurden mit einem Gelpermeationschromatographen (800er Serie, hergestellt von Nippon Bunko Co., Ltd.) unter den nachfolgenden Bedingungen bestimmt.
- Säule: Shodex A806M

- (3) Der Gehalt an Styroleinheiten in einem Polymer und die Struktur des Polymers wurden gemäß der ¹³C-NMR-Analyse (JNM-EX270, hergestellt von JEOL Ltd.) besimmt.
- Meßlösungsmittel: ortho-Dichlorbenzol
- Meßtemperatur: 135ºC
- (4) Die Feststoff-Viskositätselastizität des Polymers wurde mit einem Spektrometer (DMS200 von SDM5600, hergestellt von Seiko Electronics Co., Ltd.) unter den nachfolgenden Bedingungen bestimmt.
- Teststück: Pressblatt von 20 mm · 3,0 mm · 0,3 mm
- Frequenz: 5 Hz
- Erwärmungsgeschwindigkeit: 2ºC/min
- Verschiebung der Amplitude: 10 um
- (5) Die Hysteresekurve des Polymers wurde mit STROGRAPH-T (hergestellt von Toyo Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd.) unter den nachfolgenden Bedingungen bestimmt.
- Teststück: Pressblatt von 120 mm · 20 mm · 0,3 mm
- Zuggeschwindigkeit: 200 mm/min
- Zugvergrößerung: doppelt
- Entfernung zwischen den Spannfuttern: 60 mm
- (6) Der Brechungsindex des Polymers wurde durch die Messung eines Teststücks, das durch das Schneiden eines Films mit einer Dicke von 100 um, der durch die Durchführung von Heißpressen bei 180ºC für 3 Minuten unter einem Druck von 30 bis 50 kg/cm² auf eine Größe von 10 mm · 30 mm nach vorherigem Erwärmen bei 180ºC für 3 Minuten erhalten wurde, mit einem Typ 3-Abbe-Refraktometer (hergestellt von Atago Co., Ltd) bestimmt.
- Nach vorherigem Einfüllen von 55 ml Styrol und 19 ml trockenem Toluol in einen 400-ml-Autoklaven, der mit Argon versetzt worden ist, wurde bei einem Druck von 0,8 MPa Propylen eingefüllt. Nachdem 4,0 ml (4 mmol) Toluollösung von Triisobutylaluminium [hergestellt von Toso-Akzo Co., Ltd., 1 mol/l] und eine Lösung, die durch die Auflösung von 6,0 mg (16 umol) von Isopropyliden(cyclopentadienyl)(3-tert-butyl-5-methyl-2-phenoxy)titaniumdichlorid in 8 ml trockenem Toluol erhalten wurde, vorher gemischt wurden, wurden sie hierin eingefüllt und anschließend wurde eine Lösung, die durch die Auflösung von 44,3 mg (48 umol) Triphenylmethyltetrakis(pentafluorphenyl)borat in 9,6 ml trockenem Toluol erhalten wurde, zugegeben. Die Reaktionslösung wurde bei 60ºC 1 Stunde gerührt. Die Reaktionslösung wurde in ein Gemisch aus 5 ml Chlorwasserstoff (12 N) und 1.000 ml Methanol gegossen und ein weißer fester Niederschlag wurde durch Filtration getrennt. Der Feststoff wurde mit Methanol ausgespült und anschließend unter reduziertem Druck getrocknet, um 4,08 g eines Polymers zu erhalten. Die Aktivität des Katalysators, basierend auf einem Mol der Titanverbindung, betrug 255 kg/mol-Ti. Das Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts des Polymers betrug 75.000, die Molekulargewichtsverteiltung [Gewichtsmittel des Molekulargewichts (Mw)/Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts (Mn)] betrug 120, der Glasübergangspunkt war bei 35ºC und ein Schmelzpunkt konnte nicht bestätigt werden.
- In Fig. 2 wird das ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum gezeigt. Den Methylgruppen (Sαß) entsprechende Signale, wenn tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylenreste voneinander getrennt sind, wurden bei 30 bis 38 ppm beobachtet. Jedes von S α β in einer Bindung von wechselseitigen Styroleinheiten, von S α β in einer Bindung von wechselseitigen Propyleneinheiten und von S α β in einer Bindung einer Styroleinheit und Propyleneinheit wurden als ein Multiplett bei 30 bis 38 ppm beobachtet.
- Der Gehalt der Styroleinheit betrug 17 Mol-%. Die Meßergebnisse des Spektrometers werden in Fig. 3 gezeigt und eine Hysteresekurve, die bei 40ºC gemessen wurde, wird in Fig. 4 gezeigt. Das für die Messungen verwendete Pressblatt war transparent.
- Es wurde die gleiche Verfahrensweise wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, um 3,34 g eines Polymers zu erhalten, außer das die Menge an Styrol aus Beispiel 1 von 55 ml auf 27 ml geändert wurde und die Menge an trockenem Toluol von 19 ml auf 68 ml geändert wurde. Die Aktivität des Katalysators pro 1 Mol der Titanverbindung betrug 209 kg-Polymer/mol-Ti. Das Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts des Polymers betrug 52.000, die Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) betrug 1,72, der Glasübergangspunkt lag bei 14ºC und ein Schmelzpunkt wurde im wesentlichen nicht bestätigt. Den Methylgruppen (S α β) entsprechende Signale, wenn tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt sind, wurden bei 30 bis 38 ppm in einem ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum beobachtet. Der Gehalt der Styroleinheit betrug 6 Mol-%. Die bei 23ºC gemessene Hysteresekurve wird in Fig. 5 gezeigt. Das für die Messungen verwendete Pressblatt war transparent. Der Brechungindex der Folie des erhaltenen Polymers betrug 1,526.
- Es wurde die gleiche Verfahrensweise wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, um 3,78 g eines Polymers zu erhalten, außer das die Menge an Styrol aus Beispiel 1 von 55 ml auf 14 ml geändert wurde und die Menge an trockenem Toluol von 19 ml auf 82 ml geändert wurde. Die Aktivität des Katalysators pro 1 Mol der Titanverbindung betrug 236 kg-Polymer/mol-Ti. Das Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts des Polymers betrug 39.000, die Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) betrug 1,71, der Glasübergangspunkt lag bei 2ºC und ein Schmelzpunkt wurde im wesentlichen nicht bestätigt. Den Methylgruppen (S α β) entsprechende Signale, wenn tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt sind, wurden im ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum bei 30 bis 38 ppm beobachtet.
- Von dem Polymer das mittels der Durchführung der gleichen Verfahrensweise wie in Beispiel 1 erhalten wurden, außer das der Druck des Propylens in Beispiele 1 von 0,8 MPa auf 0,4 MPa geändert wurde, wurde mit einem Soxhlet-Extraktor eine Komponente abgetrennt, die in Aceton unlöslich ist, um 1,50 g eines Polymers zu erhalten. Die Aktivität des Katalysators pro 1 Mol der Titanverbindung betrug 94 kg-Polymer/mol-Ti. Das Zahlenmittel des Molekulargewichts des Polymers betrug 13.000, die Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn) betrug 1,67, der Glasübergangspunkt lag bei 49ºC und ein Schmelzpunkt wurde im wesentlichen nicht bestätigt. Den Methylgruppen (S α β) entsprechende Signale, wenn tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen voneinander getrennt sind, wurden im ¹³C-NMR-Spektrum bei 30 bis 38 ppm beobachtet.
- Wie oben im Detail veranschaulicht, werden gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ein neuartiges Copolymer eines α-Olefins mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff, das fähig ist, eine Konstitution anzunehmen, in der kein Halogen enthalten ist, das als Grund für Umweltverschmutzung aufgezeigt wird, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Copolymers bei hoher Polymerisatiosaktivität und ein Formteil, das transparent ist und hervorragende elastische Rückverformbarkeit und Flexibilität aufweist und das Copolymer enthält, bereitgestellt, und ihr industrieller Wert ist eindeutig groß.
Claims (8)
1. Copolymer aus einem α-Olefin, das 3 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, mit
einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff, das eine Struktur aufweist, bei der tertiäre
Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen in der Hauptkette des Copolymers voneinander
getrennt sind.
2. Copolymer nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Molekulargewichtsverteilung (Mw/Mn),
dargestellt durch das Verhältnis Gewichtsmittel des Molekulargewichts zu Zahlenmittel des
Molekulargewichts, 1,5 bis 4,0 beträgt.
3. Copolymer nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Copolymer im wesentlichen keine
Kristallinität aufweist.
4. Copolymer nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Copolymer im wesentlichen keine
Stereoregularität der Konfigurationen des α-Olefins und des aromatischen
Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffs in der Hauptkette des Copolymers aufweist.
5. Copolymer nach Anspruch 1, wobei das α-Olefin Propylen ist und der
aromatische Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff Styrol ist.
6. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Copolymers eines α-Olefins, das 3 bis 12
Kohlenstoffatome aufweist, mit einem aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoff, das eine Struktur
aufweist, bei der tertiäre Kohlenstoffatome durch zwei Methylengruppen in der Hauptkette
des Copolymers voneinander getrennt sind, wobei das Verfahren das Copolymerisieren des
α-Olefins und des aromatischen Alkenylkohlenwasserstoffs mit einem Katalysator für die
Olefinpolymerisation umfaßt, der durch ein Verfahren hergestellt wurde, das das
Kontaktieren der folgenden (A), (B) und (C); (A) und (B) oder (A) und (C) umfaßt:
(A) ein Übergangsmetallkomplex der folgenden allgemeinen Formel [I]:
worin M¹ ein Übergangsmetallatom der Gruppe IV des Periodensystems der Elemente
darstellt; A ein Atom der Gruppe XVI des Periodensystems der Elemente darstellt; J ein Atom
der Gruppe XIV des Periodensystems der Elemente darstellt; Cp¹ eine Gruppe mit einem
Cyclopentadienanion-Gerüst darstellt; X¹, X², R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6; unabhängig
voneinander ein Wasserstoffatom, ein Halogenatom, einen Alkylrest, einen Aralkylrest, einen
Arylrest, eine substituierte Silylgruppe, einen Alkoxyrest, einen Aralkyloxyrest, einen Aryloxyrest
oder eine di-substituierte Aminogruppe darstellen und R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6;
gegebenenfalls miteinander verbunden sein können, um einen Ring zu bilden;
(B) zumindest eine Aluminiumverbindung, ausgewählt aus den folgenden (B1) bis (B3):
(B1) eine Organoaluminiumverbindung der allgemeinen Formel E¹aAlZ3-a,
(B2) ein cyclisches Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen
Formel {-Al(E²)-O-}b und
(B3) ein lineares Aluminoxan mit einer Struktur der allgemeinen
Formel E³{-Al(E³)-O-}cAlE³&sub2;,
worin E¹, E² und E³ jeweils eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe darstellen, alle E¹, E² und E³
gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können, Z ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein Halogenatom
darstellt und alle Z gleich oder unterschiedlich sein können, a eine Zahl von 0 bis 3, b eine ganze
Zahl von wicht weniger als 2 und c eine ganze Zahl von nicht weniger als 1 darstellt; und
(C) eine Borverbindung von einer der folgenden (C1) bis (C3):
(C1) eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel BQ¹Q²Q³,
(C2) eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel G&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin; und
(C3) eine Borverbindung der allgemeinen Formel (L-H)&spplus;(BQ¹Q²Q³Q&sup4;)&supmin;,
worin B ein Boratom in dreiwertigem Zustand darstellt, Q¹ bis Q&sup4; gleich oder unterschiedlich
sein können und ein Halogenatom, einen Kohlenwasserstoffrest, einen halogenierten
Kohlenwasserstoffrest, eine substituierte Silylgruppe, einen Alkoxyrest oder eine di-substituierte
Aminogruppe darstellen, G&spplus; ein anorganisches oder organisches Kation darstellt, L eine
neutrale Lewis-Base und (L-H)&spplus; eine Brönsted-Säure darstellt.
7. Formteil, umfassend das Copolymer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5.
8. Formteil nach Anspruch 7, wobei das Formteil eine Folie oder ein Blatt ist.
