KLASSE -47: Maschinenelemente.
Bei den gewöhnlichen Holzschrauben ist die Steigung des Gewindes derart, dafs die Schraube
bei jeder Drehung verhältnifsmäfsig nur um wenig vorrückt. Wenn zum schnelleren Ein-.
dringen der Schraube die Steigung erhöht wird, ■ ohne dafs zugleich eine Aenderung der Gröfse
oder Gestalt des Gewindeganges eintritt, so wird die Rinne zwischen den Gewindegängen vergröfsert.
Durch Vermehrung der Steigung des Gewindes wird aber der Halt an dem Holz verringert, was namentlich am Spitzentheil der
Schraube von Nachtheil ist, wo infolge des kleinen Durchmessers der Halt des Gewindes
viel geringer als an dem cylindrischen Theil
der Schraube ist. An der dargestellten Schraube ist hiergegen dadurch Vorkehrung getroffen,
dafs ein Ergänzungs- oder Zwischengewinde zwischen denjenigen Gängen der Schraube angebracht
wird, die als Ausläufer des Gewindes des Schraubenschäftes anzusehen sind.
Der Haüptgewindegang, welcher sich von dem cylindrischen Theil der Schraube bis zur
Spitze derselben zieht, ist mit α bezeichnet. Das Ergänzungs- oder Zwischengewinde b liegt
in dem Raum zwischen den Gewindegängen a an der Spitze der Schraube. Die Schraube
kann geschnitten oder besser durch Walzen hergestellt werden.

- Patent-Anspruch:An Holzschrauben mit einem oder mehreren Gewindegängen auf dem cylindrischen Schafttheil der Schraube die Einfügung eines oder mehrerer Zwischengewindegänge auf dem kegelförmigen Spitzentheil der Schraube zwischen den Gängen, die sich von dem Schraubenschaft bis zur Spitze ziehen, zum Zwecke, den Halt der Spitze im Holz zu vergröfsern. . .Hierzu 1 Blatt Zeichnungen.BERLIN.
