Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung und ein Verfahren zum
wiederholten Auslenken eines Abtastlichtstrahls gemäß dem Ober
begriff der Patentansprüche 1 und 15.
Es ist bekannt, einen Abtastlichtstrahl mittels eines optischen
Systems über Markierungen zu führen und die so abgetasteten
Markierungen auf ihre Bedeutung hin auszuwerten. Der Licht
strahl, der beispielsweise von einer Laserlichtquelle erzeugt
werden kann, wird dabei von einem kontinuierlich rotierenden
Polygonspiegel ausgelenkt (vgl. DE-OS 28 38 243). Polygonspie
gel sind verhältnismäßig teuer und kompliziert in der Herstel
lung und nehmen zusammen mit dem sie antreibenden Motor einen
erheblichen Raum in einem Abtastsystem ein, was insbesondere
dann nachteilig ist, wenn die Einrichtung in einem Handabtaster
eingebaut werden soll.
Die US-PS 39 52 217 befaßt sich mit einem Antriebsystem für
einen verhältnismäßig massiven Spiegel, der an einem Raumschiff
befestigt ist und hin- und hergedreht werden soll. Mit dem
Spiegel ist ein Gegengewicht verbunden, das beim Drehen des
Spiegels jeweils entgegengesetzt gedreht wird. Das Drehen des
Spiegels und des Gegengewichts wird durch Blattfedern erzeugt,
die beim Drehen gegen Anschläge anliegen, die in Grenzpositio
nen angebracht sind. Eine Energiezufuhr bei Nachlassen dieser
Drehschwingung erfolgt jeweils bei Bedarf mittels eines Motors.
Die Gesamtanordnung läßt sich gegenüber der Abstützung mittels
eines weiteren Motors verdrehen, wodurch das Abtastfeld verän
derbar ist. Die Blattfedern haben den Nachteil, daß sie einer
erhöhten Abnutzung unterliegen. Ferner dreht sich der Spiegel
nach Beschleunigung aus der jeweiligen Grenzposition vollkommen
frei zur gegenüberliegenden Grenzposition, so daß sich eine
vollkommen unkontrollierte und nicht lineare Drehung ergibt.
Die Mittenposition der Drehung ist nicht vorbestimmt.
Die FR-PS 8 29 726 befaßt sich mit einem Mischer, dessen Welle
zwei Rotoren trägt, die über jeweils zugeordnete Statorpaare
abwechselnd derart erregt werden, daß sich die Rotorwelle
zwischen zwei winkelmäßig beabstandeten Positionen hin- und
herdreht. Die Mittenposition spielt dabei keine Rolle.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Einrichtung und
ein Verfahren zum periodischen Auslenken eines
Abtastlichtstrahls anzugeben, die äußerst einfach aufgebaut
ist, auf engstem Raum untergebracht werden kann und eine hohe
Sequenz erlaubt.
Eine diese Aufgabe lösende erfindungsgemäße Einrichtung und ein
Verfahren zum wiederholten, insbesondere periodisch wiederhol
ten Auslenken eines Abtastlichtstrahls ist in den Patenansprü
chen 1 und 15 gekennzeichnet.
Die Erfindung verwendet lediglich einen ebenen Spiegel mit sehr
geringen Abmessungen, der in Drehschwingungen versetzt wird.
Bevorzugte Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Einrichtung
sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemäßen Einrichtung wird
nachstehend unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung näher erläutert.
Es zeigt

Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht ähnlich der der Fig. 2, wobei sich je
doch der den Spiegel tragende Rotor in einer seiner
Grenzauslenkungsstellungen befindet;
Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht ähnlich derjenigen der Fig. 3, bei der
sich der Rotor in seiner anderen Grenzauslenkungs
stellung befindet und
Fig. 5 eine gegengekoppelte Steuerschaltung zur Änderung der
Drehgeschwindigkeit der mit dem Rotor verbundenen Ab
triebswelle.
Die Figuren zeigen ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsge
mäßen Einrichtung, die im wesentlichen als Abtastmotor 68 aus
gebildet ist, der eine leichtgewichtige, Miniatur-Laserstrahl-
Ablenkeinrichtung für die sehr schnelle Abtastung von Strichco
desymbolen in einem Laserabtastsystem darstellt. Der Abtastmo
tor 68 besitzt eine Welle 72, die in Lagern 108 geführt ist und
einen Spiegel 76 trägt, der vom Abtastmotor 68 in Drehschwin
gungen versetzt wird.
Der Abtastmotor 68 besitzt ein oberes becherförmiges Statorge
häuse 110 und ein unteres becherförmiges Statorgehäuse 112. Die
beiden Statorgehäuse nehmen Statorwicklungen 114 und 116 auf.
Ein Permanentmagnet-Rotor 120 ist auf einem Lagerstift 118 ko
axial zur Welle 72 gelagert. Der Rotor 120 ist von den Stator
wicklungen 114, 116 umschlossen und mit der Welle 72 verbunden.
Das obere Statorgehäuse 110 trägt ein Polpaar mit Polen 122,
124, die räumlich um 180° gegeneinander versetzt sind. Das un
tere Statorgehäuse 112 trägt ebenfalls ein Polpaar mit Polen
126, 128, die ebenfalls räumlich um 180° gegeneinander versetzt
sind. Die oberen Pole 122, 124 sind gegenüber den unteren Polen
126, 128 um 90° versetzt. Der Permanentmagnetrotor 120 ist mit
einer gleichen Anzahl von Polpaaren magnetisiert, d. h. er be
sitzt wie jede Statorwicklung ein Polpaar.
Der Aufbau des Abtastmotors 68 entspricht einem vereinfachten
Schrittschaltmotor, bei dem elektrische Impulse in diskrete me
chanische Drehbewegungen umgewandelt werden, wenn sich die Po
larität einer Statorwicklung ändert. Durch abwechselndes Erre
gen und Entregen der beiden Statorwicklungen eines Schritt
schaltmotors bewirkt die magnetische Wechselwirkung zwischen
den Rotorpolen und den Statorpolen, daß sich der Rotor in dis
kreten Winkelschritten über den ganzen Umfang von 360° bewegt.
Im Gegensatz zu einem Schrittschaltmotor ist bei der Einrich
tung des Ausführungsbeispiels eine Motorsteuerschaltung 94 vor
gesehen, über die die Welle 72 über den Rotor hin- und herge
schwenkt wird. Zunächst erfolgt ein Auslenken in der einen
Richtung über einen Winkel kleiner 360° und dann in der entge
gengesetzten Richtung um ebenfalls einen Winkel kleiner 360°.
Dieser Zyklus wiederholt sich mit hoher Geschwindigkeit. Beim
Ausführungsbeispiel beträgt jeder Bogen normalerweise etwa 5°
gegenüber der Vertikalen, obwohl auch andere Drehwinkel möglich
sind. Die Drehschwingungen erfolgen vorzugsweise mit einer Fre
quenz von etwa 100 Schwingungen pro Sekunde.
Die Motorsteuerschaltung 94 besitzt eine Bezugsspannungsschal
tung 140 zum Anlegen einer im wesentlichen konstanten niedrigen
Gleichspannung an eine der Statorwicklungen. Beispielsweise
wird ein 12-Volt-Gleichspannungssignal über einen Leiter 132 an
die Statorwicklung 114 angelegt. Die Motorsteuerschaltung 94
umfaßt ferner eine variable Spannungsquelle 142 zum Anlegen
einer sich periodisch ändernden Spannung an die andere der Sta
torwicklungen, etwa einer dreieckförmigen Spannung an die Sta
torwicklung 116 über einen Leiter 134.
Wie die Fig. 2 bis 4 zeigen, bewirkt die konstante positive
Gleichspannung an der Statorwicklung 114, daß die Statorpole
122 und 124 als Nord- bzw. Südpol magnetisiert werden. Gibt die
variable Spannungsquelle 142 die Spannung Null an die Stator
wicklung 116, dann richten sich die Permanentnord- und -südpole
des Rotors (Fig. 2) gegenüber den Statorpolen 122 und 124 aus.
Fig. 3 zeigt, daß beim Anlegen einer positiven Gleichspannung
von der variablen Spannungsquelle 142 an die Statorwicklung 116
eine Erregung der Statorpolen 126 und 128 als Nord- bzw. Südpo
le erfolgt, so daß sich der Rotor im Uhrzeigersinn um einen
Winkelschritt entsprechend der positiven Gleichspannung dreht.
Liegt andererseits eine negative Gleichspannung an der Stator
wicklung 116, dann ergibt sich eine Konfiguration gemäß Fig. 4,
wo die Statorpole 126 und 128 als Süd- bzw. Nordpole ausgebil
det sind und der Rotor 120 sich im Gegenuhrzeigersinn um einen
Winkelbetrag dreht, der dem Wert der negativen Gleichspannung
an der Statorwicklung 116 entspricht.
Der Rotor 120 dreht entsprechend die Welle 72 und damit den auf
dieser aufgesetzten Spiegel 76. Der Winkelausschlag der Drehbe
wegung ist der Spannungsamplitude proportional. Die Bewegungs
geschwindigkeit der Welle 72 entspricht der Änderungsgeschwin
digkeit der periodischen Spannung von der variablen Spannungs
quelle 142. Die Bewegungsrichtung, d. h. Uhrzeigersinn oder Ge
genuhrzeigersinn, hängt von der positiven oder negativen Stei
gung der periodischen Spannung ab. Die Drehschwingungsfrequenz
ist proportional der Periodizität der periodischen Wellenform.
Sie beträgt zwischen 5 Schwingungen pro Sekunde und vorzugswei
se in der Größenordnung von 100 Schwingungen pro Sekunde.
Die Wellenform der periodischen Spannung kann eine beliebige,
sich mit der Zeit ändernde Spannung sein, etwa eine Sägezahn
spannung, eine Sinusspannung oder eine dreieckförmige Wechsel
spannung. Für die periodischen Wellenformen ist die Drehge
schwindigkeit der Welle 72 nicht linear, sondern hat vielmehr
die Form einer Sinusschwingung mit sinkender Drehgeschwindig
keit, wenn sich die Welle einer der Grenzdrehausschlagstellun
gen der Fig. 3 und 4 nähert und einem Ansteigen der Drehge
schwindigkeit in Richtung auf die in Fig. 2 dargestellte Mittel
lage.
Für eine möglichst lineare Abtastung, d. h. eine lineare Be
ziehung zwischen der Stellung der Welle 72 und der Amplitude
der sich periodisch ändernden Spannung, kann die Amplitude der
konstanten Gleichspannung an der Statorwicklung 114 an der Be
zugsspannungsschaltung 140 auf einen bestimmten Wert voreinge
stellt werden. Alle Schwingungskomponenten lassen sich durch
eine Resonanzfrequenz kennzeichnen. Für den Abtastmotor 68 er
gibt sich die Resonanzfrequenz u. a. aus der Masse der bewegten
Teile und dem konstanten Magnetfeld, das durch die Statorwick
lungen bestimmt ist. Folglich stellt man durch Änderung der
Gleichspannung an der Statorwicklung 114 die Frequenz der Welle
72 auf einen gewünschten Wert ein.
Eine andere Möglichkeit, eine weitgehend lineare Abtastung zu
erzielen, besteht in einer Gegenkopplung gemäß Fig. 5. Hierbei
ist das eine Ende der Statorwicklung 116 über eine Leitung 148
mit dem invertierten Eingang eines Operationsverstärkers 144
sowie über einen Widerstand 146 mit Masse verbunden. Das andere
Ende der Statorwicklung 116 liegt am Ausgang des Operationsver
stärkers 144, während dessen nicht invertierender Eingang auf
Bezugspotential gelegt ist.
Ein für einen Handabtaster geeigneter Abtastmotor 68 wiegt etwa
30 bis 35 g und hat ein Volumen von weniger als etwa 2,5 cm3.
Der Abtastmotor hat eine lange Lebensdauer in der Größenordnung
von 10 000 Stunden.
In der Motorsteuerschaltung 94 kann auch eine Schließspannung
erzeugt werden, welche die Welle 72 in eine Schließstellung
dreht, in welcher der Spiegel 76 den Laserstrahl derart reflek
tiert, daß das gewünschte Abtastfeld nicht mehr getroffen wird.
In Fig. 3 ist die Schließstellung für den Rotor 120′ darge
stellt. Die große Amplitude der Auslenkspannung bewirkt eine
Verstellung der Welle 72 um einen größeren Winkelbetrag als er
zum Erreichen der normalen Auslenkgrenzstellung erforderlich
ist, die mit durchgezogenen Linien dargestellt ist.
Claims (25)
1. Einrichtung zum wiederholten Auslenken eines Abtastlicht
strahls mittels einer durch einen elektrischen Motor in Drehschwingungen
versetzten lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtung, die an der Rotor
welle des Motors befestigt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß am Stator (110, 112, 114, 116) und am Rotor (120) des Ab
tastmotors (68) Magnetfelder erzeugbar sid, mit denen sich in
einer Mittenposition der lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtug (76)
das Magnetfeld des Rotors mit dem Magnetfeld des Stators aus
richtet und daß eine Motorsteuerschaltung vorgesehen ist, durch
die der Rotor (120) elektromagnetisch aus der Mittenposition
wiederholt in die eine und in die andere Umfangsrichtung über
einen Bogen von weniger als 360° drehbar ist.
2. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Stator zwei Statorwicklungen (114, 116) aufweist und
der Rotor (120) aus magnetisierbarem Material besteht und daß
die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) eine erste Quelle (140) für ein
im wesentlichen konstantes elektrisches Signal aufweist, das an
die eine Statorwicklung (114) zur Erzeugung eines ersten Ma
gnetfeldes angelegt wird, und daß der Rotor (120) ein zweites
Magnetfeld erzeugt, das mit dem ersten Magnetfeld zusammen
wirkt.
3. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Rotor (120) ein Permanentmagnet ist.
4. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 2 oder 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) eine zweite Quelle (142) zum
Anlegen eines periodischen elektrischen Signals mit zeitvariab
ler Amplitude an die andere Statorwicklung (116) aufweist, wo
bei der Rotor (120) derart angetrieben wird, daß die lichtre
flektierende Vorrichtung (76) in Abtastposition ausgelenkt
wird, deren Winkelabstand von der Mittenposition eine Funktion
der Amplitude des periodischen elektrischen Signals ist, und
zwar mit einer Geschwindigkeit, die eine Funktion der Ände
rungsgeschwindigkeit des periodischen Signals ist.
5. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) eine Rückkopplung (148, 144)
aufweist, die mit der anderen Statorwicklung (116) zum Drehen
der lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtung (76) mit einer gleichför
migen linearen Geschwindigkeit aufweist.
6. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das periodische elektrische Signal Abschnitte mit positiver
und negativer Steigung aufweist und die lichtreflektierende
Vorrichtung (76) abhängig von der Richtung der Steigung in der
einen oder anderen Umfangsrichtung gedreht wird.
7. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das periodische elektrische Signal eine Dreiecks-Signalform
besitzt.
8. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) ein drittes Magnetfeld einer
ersten Polarität erzeugt, das mit dem zweiten Magnetfeld des
Rotors (120) zusammenwirkt, um letzteren in der einen Umfangs
richtung zu drehen, sowie von entgegengesetzter Polarität, um
im Zusammenwirken mit dem zweiten Magnetfeld den Rotor (120) in
der entgegengesetzten Umfangsrichtung zu drehen.
9. Einrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß über die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) die lichtreflektierende
Vorrichtung (76) in Drehschwingungen versetzt wird, die winkel
mäßig gegenüber der Mittenposition um größenordnungsgemäßig 5°
versetzt sind.
10. Einrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß über die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) die lichtreflektierende
Vorrichtung (76) mit einer Frequenz in der Größenordnung von
100 Schwingungen pro Sekunden in Drehschwindungen versetzt
wird.
11. Einrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Stärke des Magnetfelds des Stators (110, 112, 114, 116)
einstellbar ist.
12. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Amplitude des an eine der Statorwicklungen (114) ange
legten, im wesentlichen konstanten elektrischen Signals ein
stellbar ist.
13. Einrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Motorsteuerschaltung (94) die lichtreflektierende Vor
richtung (76) in Winkelposition auslenkt, die außerhalb des
eigentlichen Abtastfeldes liegen, derart, daß die Abtastung des
Abtastfeldes linearisiert wird.
14. Einrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die lichtreflektierende Vorrichtung ein planer Spiegel (76)
ist.
15. Verfahren zum wiederholten Auslenken eines Abtastlicht
strahls mittels einer durch einen elektrischen Motor in Drehschwingungen
versetzten lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtung, die an der Rotor
welle des Motors befestigt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß am Stator und am Rotor magnetische Felder angelegt werden,
die den Rotor und damit die lichtreflektierende Vorrichtung auf
eine Mittenposition ausrichten und daß durch ein weiteres
elektromagnetisches Feld der Rotor abwechselnd in der einen und
anderen Umfangsrichtung über einen Winkel kleiner 360° in
Abtastposition gedreht wird, die von der Mittenposition einen
vorgegebenen Winkelabstand besitzen.
16. Verfahren nach Anspruch 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß ein im wesentlichen konstantes elektrisches
Signal an eine Statorwicklung zur Erzeugung eines ersten Ma
gnetfeldes angelegt und der Rotor zur Erzeugung eines zweiten
Magnetfelds magnetisiert wird, das mit dem ersten Magnetfeld
zusammenwirkt.
17. Verfahren nach Anspruch 15 oder 16,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß zur Erzeugung des weiteren elektromagnetischen Feldes ein periodisches elektrisches
Signal mit zeitvariabler Amplitude an eine andere Statorwick
lung zum Drehen der Welle und der daran angebrachten lichtre
flektierenden Vorrichtung angelegt wird, um Positionen abzuta
sten, deren Winkelabstand von der Mittenposition eine Funktion
der Amplitude des periodischen Signals ist, und zwar mit einer
Geschwindigkeit, die eine Funktion der Änderungsgeschwindigkeit
des periodischen Signals ist.
18. Verfahren nach Anspruch 17,

daß das periodische Signal Abschnitte mit positiver und negati
ver Steigung besitzt.
19. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 18,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß ein drittes Magnetfeld einer Po
larität zum Zusammenwirken mit dem zweiten Magnetfeld des Ro
tors für eine Bewegung desselben in der einen Drehrichtung und
von entgegengesetzter Polarität im Zusammenwirken mit dem
zweiten Magnetfeld des Rotors zur Bewegung desselben in der
entgegengesetzten Drehrichtung angelegt wird.
20. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 19,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Drehschwingungen der Welle und
der daran angebrachten lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtung durch
geführt werden, um Positionen abzutasten, die winkelmäßig von
der Mittenposition in der Größenordnung von 5° versetzt sind.
21. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 20,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Drehschwingungen der Welle und
der daran angebrachten lichtreflektierenden Vorrichtung mit
einer Frequenz durchgeführt werden, die in der Größenordnung
von 100 Schwingungen pro Sekunde liegt.
22. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 21,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Stärke des Magnetfeldes des Stators einstellbar ist.
23. Verfahren nach Anspruch 22,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Einstellung der Stärke des Magnetfelds durch Ändern der
Amplitude des an die eine Statorwicklung des Stators angeleg
ten, im wesentlichen konstanten elektrischen Signals erfolgt.
24. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 23,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Drehen des Rotors mit einer
gleichförmigen linearen Geschwindigkeit durchgeführt wird.
25. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 24,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Welle und die daran angebrachte lichtreflektierende
Vorrichtung derart gedreht werden, daß Positionen abgetastet
werden, die winkelmäßig soweit entfernt sind, daß das Licht
über ein vergrößertes Abtastfeld ausgelenkt wird, daß größer
ist als das zur Abtastung erforderliche Abtastfeld, so daß die
Welle und die daran angebrachte lichtreflektierende Vorrichtung
über das zur Abtastung erforderliche Abtastfeld im wesentlichen
linear angetrieben wird.
