Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue 1-Azolyl-4-hydroxybutan-Derivate,
ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung sowie ihre Verwendung als Fungizide und Bakterizide.
Es ist bereits bekannt geworden, daß Trityl-1,2,4-triazole,
wie Triphenyl-(1,2,4-triazol-l-yl)-methan, sowie im
Phenylteil substituierte 3,3-Dimethyl-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-lphenoxy-butan-2-one,
wie 2,5-Dichlorphenoxy-3,3-dimethyl-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on, eine gute fungizide Wirksamkeit
besitzen (vergleiche Deutsche Offenlegungsschriften 1 795 249 ZLe A 11 7047 bzw. 2 325 156 /Le A 14 9997). Deren
Wirkung ist jedoch, insbesondere bei niedrigen Aufwandmengen und -konzentrationen, nicht immer ganz befriedigend.

Diejenigen Verbindungen der Formel (I), in welchen A für die CH(OH)-Gruppe steht, besitzen zwei asymetrische Kohlenstoffatome;
sie können deshalb in den beiden geometrischen Isomeren (erythro- und threo- Form) vorliegen, die in unterschiedlichen
Mengenverhältnissen anfallen können. In beiden Fällen liegen sie als optische Isomeren vor. Sämtliche Isomeren werden erfindungsgemäß
beansprucht.
Weiterhin wurde gefunden, daß man die l-Azolyl-4-hydroxybutan-Derivate
der Formel (I) erhält, wenn man

Ketone in an sich bekannter Weise selektiv mit komplexen Borhydriden, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels,
reduziert.
Weiterhin können die erfindungsgemäß erhältlichen 1-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivate
durch Umsetzen mit Säuren in die Salz«? überführt werden.
In manchen Fällen erweist es sich als vorteilhaft, einzelne Verbindungen, ausgehend von den erfindungsgemäß erhältlichen
4-Acetoxy-l-azolyl-l-phenoxy-butan-2-onen, über die entsprechenden l-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-l-phenoxy-butan-2-one "umzuestern".
Dazu werden die 4-Acetoxy-l-azolyl-l-phenoxy-butan-2-one zunächst mit konzentrierter Salzsäure in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels hydrolytisch gespalten. Die dabei entstehenden
l-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-l-phenoxybutan-2-one werden dann anschließend gegebenenfalls mit Säurechloriden, Isocyanaten oder SuIfonylchloriden in allgemein bekannter Weise umgesetzt (vergleiche
auch Herstellungsbeispiele).
Ueberraschenderweise zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe eine erheblich höhere fungizide Wirksamkeit, insbesondere gegen
Getreidekrankheiten, als die aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Verbindungen Triphenyl-(l,2,4-triazol-l-yl)-methan und 2,5-Dichlorphenoxy-3»3-dimethyl-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on, welche
chemisch und wirkungsmäßig naheliegende Stoffe sind. Ebenso überraschend ist ihre zusätzliche bakterizide Wirkung. Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe stellen somit eine Bereicherung der
Technik dar.

Als Salze für die Verbindungen der Formel (i) kommen Salze
mit physiologisch verträglichen Säuren infrage. Hierzu gehören
vorzugsweise die Halogenwasserstoffsäuren, wie z.B. die Chlorwasser
stoff säure und die Bromwasserstoffsäure, insbesondere die
Chlorwasserstoffsäure, Phosphorsäure, Salpetersäure, mono- und
bifunktioneile Carbonsäuren und Hydroxycarbonsäuren, wie z.B.
Essigsäure, Maleinsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Fumarsäure, Weinsäure, Salizylsäure, Zitronensäure, Sorbinsäure, Milchsäure, 1,5-Naphthalin-disulfonsäure.
Für die erfindungsgemäße Umsetzung kommen als Verdünnungsmittel
vorzugsweise inerte organische Lösungsmittel infrage. Hierzu gehören vorzugsweise Ketone, wie Diäthylketon, insbesondere
Aceton und Methyläthylketon; Nitrile, wie Propionitril, insbesondere
Acetonitril; Alkohole, wie Aethanol oder Isopropanol; Aether, wie Tetrahydrofuran oder Dioxan? Benzol; Formamide; wie
insbesondere Dimethylformamid; und halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Methylenchlorid, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff oder Chloroform.
Die Umsetzung wird in Gegenwart eines Säurebinders vorgenommen. Man kann alle üblicherweise verwendbaren anorganischen oder
organischen Säurebinder zugeben, wie Alkalicarbonate, beispielsweise
Natriumcarbonat, Kaliumcarbonat und Natriumhydrogencarbonat,
oder wie niedere tertiäre Alkylamine, Cycloalkylamine oder Aralkylamine, beispielsweise Triäthylamin, Ν,Ν-Dimethylcyclohexylamin,
Dicyclohexylmethylamin, N,N-Dimethylbenzylamin,
weiterhin Pyridin und Diazabicyclooctan.

Außerdem kann man einen entsprechenden Ueberschuß an Azol
verwenden.
Die Reaktionstemperaturen können in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man zwischen etwa
20 bis etwa 1500C, vorzugsweise bei 60 bis 1200C. Bei Anwesenheit
eines Lösungsmittels wird zweckmäßigerweise beim Siedepunkt des jeweiligen Lösungsmittels gearbeitet.
Bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens setzt man auf 1 Mol der Verbindungen der Formel (il) vorzugsweise
bis 2 Mol Azol und 1 bis 2 Mol Säurebinder ein. Zur Isolierung der Verbindungen der Formel (i) wird das Lösungsmittel abdestilliert,
der Rückstand mit einem organischen Solvens aufgenommen und mit Wasser gewaschen. Die organische Phase wird
über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum vom Lösungsmittel befreit. Der Rückstand wird durch Destillation bzw. Umkristalli·
sation gereinigt.
Für die selektive Reduktion kommen als Verdünnungsmittel für die erfindungsgemäße Umsetzung polare organische Lösungsmittel
infrage. Hierzu gehören vorzugsweise Alkohole, wie Methanol,
Aethanol, Butanol, Isopropanol, und Aether, wie Diäthyläther oder Tetrahydrofuran. Die Reaktion wird im allgemeinen bei 0
bis 300C, vorzugsweise bei 0 bis 200C durchgeführt. Hierzu
setzt man auf 1 Mol der Verbindung der Formel (II) etwa 1 Mol eines Borhydrids, wie Natriumborhydrid oder Lithiumborhydrid,
ein. Zur Isolierung der Verbindungen der Formel (i) wird der Rückstand z.B. in verdünnter Salzsäure aufgenommen, anschließend
alkalisch gestellt und mit einem organischen Lösungsmittel extrahiert, oder nur mit Wasser versetzt und mit einem
organischen Solvents ausgeschüttelt. Die weitere Aufarbeitung erfolgt in üblicher Weise.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe weisen eine starke fungitoxische und eine bakteriotoxische Wirkung auf. Sie schädigen
Kulturpflanzen in den zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen und Bakterien notwendigen Konzentrationen nicht. Aus diesen Gründen
sind sie für den Gebrauch als Pflanzenschutzmittel zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen und Bakterien geeignet, Fungitoxische
Mittel im Pflanzenschutz werden eingesetzt zur Bekämpfung von Plasmodiophoromycetes, Oomycetes, Chytridiomycetes,
Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Deuteromycetes.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe haben ein breites Wirkungsspektrum
und können angewandt werden gegen parasitäre Pilze und Bakterien,

die oberirdische Pflanzenteile befallen oder die Pflanzen vom Boden her angreifen, sowie gegen samenübertragbare Krankheitserreger.
Eine besonders gute Wirksamkeit entfalten sie gegen parasitäre Pilze auf oberirdischen Pflanzenteilen, wie Erysiphe-Arten,
Podosphaera-Arten und Venturia-Arten, ferner gegen
Pyricularia- und Pellicularia-Arten. Gute Wirkungen werden erzielt gegen den Erreger des Apfelschorfs (Fusicladium dendriticum).
Sie zeigen ferner eine hohe Wirksamkeit gegen Getreidekrankheiten, wie gegen Getreidemehltau und Gerstenmehltau.
Hervorzuheben ist, daß die erfindungsgemäßen Wirk= stoffe nicht nur eine protektive Wirkung entfalten, sondern
auch systemisch wirksam sind. So gelingt es, Pflanzen gegen Pilzbefall zu schützen, wenn man den Wirkstoff über den Boden
und die Wurzel oder über das Saatgut den oberirdischen Teilen der Pflanze zuführt.
Als Pflanzenschutzmittel können die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe zur Bodenbehandlung, zur Saatgutbehandlung und zur Behandlung
oberirdischer Pflanzenteile benutzt werden.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen,
Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate. Diese werden in bekannter Weine hergestellt, z. B. durch Vermischen der
Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, aluo flüssigen Lösungsmitteln,
unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trö/iorstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven
Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/oder Dispergiermitteln
und/oder schaumerzeugenden Mitteln, im Falle der Benutzung von
Wasser als Streckmittel können z. B. auch organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden. Als flüssige
Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, Benzol oder Alky!naphthaline, chlorierte Aromaten
oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole, Chloräthylene oder Methylenchlorid, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z. B. Erdölfraktionen, Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glycol sowie deren Äther und Ester,
Ketone, wie Aceton, Methyläthylketon, Methylisobutylketon oder
Cyclohexanon, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen
Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter Normaldruck
gasförmig sind, z. B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Dichlordifluormethan oder Trichlorfluormethan; als feste Trägerstoffe: natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide,
Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate; als Emulgiermittel; nichtionogene und anionische Emulgatoren, wie Polyoxyäthylen-Fett säure-Ester, Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther, z.B. Alkylaryl-polyglycol-Äther, Alkylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate, Arylsulfonate sowie Eiweißhydrolysate;
als Dispergiermittel: z. B. Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methylcellulose .

Die erfindungsgenäßen Wirkstoffe können in den Formulierungen
in Mischung mit anderen bekannten Wirkstoffen vorliegen, wie
Fungiziden, Insektiziden» Akariziden, fieriiatiziden, Herbiziden,
Schutzstoffen gegen Vogelfraß,. Vftichsstoffen, Pflanzennährstoffen
und Bodenstrukturverbesserungsaitteln.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und.

Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Fora ihrer Formulierungen oder der daraus durch weiteres Verdünnen bereiteten Anv/endungsformen,
wie gebrauchsfertige Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate angewendet werden.
Die Anwendung geschieht in üblicher Weise, z.B. durch Giei3en, Spritzen, Sprühen, Stäuben, Streuen, Trockenbeizen, Feuchtbeizen,
Naßbeizen, Schläarabeizen oder Inkrustieren.
Bei'der Verwendung als Blattfungizide können die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen

Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wii-kstoffzubereitung nimmt
man 0,25 Gewichtsteile Wirkstoff in 25 Gewichtsteilen Dimetlr/lformaraid
und 0,06 Gewichtsteilen Alkylaryl-polyglykoläther auf und gibt 975 Gewichtsteile V/asser hinzu. Das Konzentrat
verdünnt man mit Wasser auf- die gewünschte Endkonzentration der Spritzbrühe.
Zur Prüfung auf protektive Wirksamkeit besprüht man die einblättrigen
Gerstenjtmgpflanzen der Sorte Amsel mit der Wirkstoffzubereitung
taufeucht. Nach Antrocknen bestäubt man die Gerstenpflanzen mit Sporen von Erysiphe graminis
var.hordei.
Nach 6 Tagen Verweilzeit der Pflanzen bei einer Temperatur von 21 bis 22°C und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 80 bis 90 %
wertet man den Besatz der Pflanzen mit Mehltaupusteln aus. Der Befallsgrad wird in Prozenten des Befalls der unbehandelten
Kontrollpflanzen ausgedrückt. Dabei bedeutet 0 % keinen Befall und 100 % den gleichen Befallsgrad wie bei der
unbehandelten Kontrolle. Der Wirkstoff ist umso wirksamer, je geringer der Mehltaubefall ist.

Gerstenmehltau-Test (Erysiphe graminis var. hordei) / systemisch
(pilzliche Getreidesproßkrankheit)
Die Anwendung der Wirkstoffe erfolgt als pulverförmige Saatgutbehandlungsmittel.
Sie werden hergestellt durch Abstrecken des jeweiligen Wirkstoffes mit einem Gemisch aus gleichen
Gewichtsteilen Talkum und Kieselgur zu einer feinpulverigen Mischung mit der gewünschten Wirkstoffkonzentration.
Zur Saatgutbehandlung schüttelt man Gerstensaatgut mit dem abgestreckten Wirkstoff in einer verschlossenen Glasflasche.
Das Saatgut sät man mit 3x12 Korn in Blumentöpfe 2 cm tief in ein Gemisch aus einem Volumteil Fruhstorfer Einheitserde
und einem Volumteil Quarzsand ein. Die Keimung und der Auflauf erfolgen unter günstigen Bedingungen im Gewächshaus.
7 Tage nach der Aussaat, wenn die Gerstenpflanzen ihr erstes Blatt entfaltet haben, werden sie mit frischen Sporen von
Erysiphe graminis var. hordei bestäubt und bei 21 bis 22°c und 80 bis 90 % rel. Luftfeuchte und 16-stündiger Belichtung
weiter kultiviert. Innerhalb von 6 Tagen bilden sich an den Blättern die typischen Mehltaupusteln aus.
Der Befallsgrad wird in Prozenten des Befalls der unbehandelten Kontrollpflanzen ausgedrückt. So bedeutet O % keinen
Befall und 100 % den gleichen Befallsgrad wie bei der unbehandelten
Kontrolle. Der Wirkstoff ist um so wirksamer je geringer der Mehltaubefall ist.

Man vermischt die für die gewünschte Wirkstoffkonzentration in der Spritzflüssigkeit nötige Wirkstoffmenge mit der angegebenen
Menge des Lösungsmittels und des Dispergiermittels und verdünnt das Konzentrat mit der angegebenen Menge Wasser.
Mit der Spritzflüssigkeit bespritzt man 30 etwa 40 Tage alte Reispflanzen bis zur Tropf nässe. Die Pflanzen verbleiben bis
zum Abtrocknen in einem Gewächshaus bei Temperaturen von 22 bis 24°C und einer relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit von etwa 70 #. Danach
werden Nadeln in eine wässrige Bakteriensuspensxon von Xanthomonas eryzae getaucht und die Pflanzen durch Anstechen
der Blätter inokuliert. Die Pflanzen stehen nach der Inokulation 24 Stunden bei 100 % relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit und danach in
einem Raum bei 26 bis 28 0C und 80 % relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit.
10 Tage nach der Inokulation wird der Befall bei allen durch Stich verletzten, inokulierten Blätter von vorher mit Präparat
behandelten Pflanzen in Wertzahlen von 1 bis 9 ausgewertet. 1 bedeutet 100 %±ge Wirkung, 3 = gute Wirkung, 5 = mäßige
Wirkung und 9 = keine Wirkung.

Zu einer Suspension von 21 g (0,3 Mol) Triazol und 30 g (0,2 Mol) Kaliumcarbonat in 200 ml Aceton tropft man in der Siedehitze
eine Lösung von 36,3 g (0,2 Mol) rohes 4-Acetoxy-l-brom-l-(4-chlorphenoxy)-3»3-dimethyl-butan-2-on
in 50 ml Aceton. Nach 15-stÜndigem Erhitzen unter Rückfluß wird filtriert und das
Filtrat durch Abdestillleren des Lösungsmittels im Vakuum eingeengt.
Der Rückstand wird in 200 ml Methylenchlorid aufgenommen, dreimal mit je 50 ml Wasser gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat
getrocknet und eingeengt. Der verbleibende Rückstand wird in 100 ml Aceton gelöst und mit 36 g (0,1 Mol) 1,5-Naphthalindisulfonsäure-octa-hydrat
in 100 ml Aceton versetzt. Der entstehende kristalline Niederschlag wird abgesaugt und getrocknet.
Man erhält 45 g (45 % der Theorie) 4-Acetoxy-l-(4-chlor-phenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-l-(1,2,4-triazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on-naphthalindieulfonat-(l,5)
vom Schmelzpunkt 155 - 160 0C.

170 g (0,72 Mol) 4-Acetoxy-l-brom-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-on in

eingeengt. Der ölige Rückstand wird destilliert. Man erhält 153 g (72 % der Theorie) 4-Acetoxy-l-(4-chlorphenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-on
vom Schmelzpunkt 140 - 145°C/O,2 mm.
56,9 g (0,2 Mol) 4-Acetoxy-l-(4-chlorphenoxy)-3t3-dimethylbutan-2-on
werden in 350 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff gelöst. Bei Raumtemperatur werden 10,3 g (0,2 Mol) Brom so zugetropft, daß
stetiger Verbrauch eintritt. Anschließend läßt man 30 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur rühren. Nach Abdestillieren des Lösungsmittels
im Vakuum erhält man quantitativ 4-Acetoxy-l-brom -l-(4-chlorphenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-on,
das direkt veiter umgesetzt werden kann.

22 g (0,05 Mol) 4-Acetoxy-l-brom-l-&-(4'-chlorphenyl)-phenoxyj-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-on
werden in 20 ml Aceton gelöst und in der Siedehitze zu 5,5 g (0,08 Mol) Imidazol und 7,5 g (0,05 Mol)
Kaliumcarbonat in 80 ml Aceton getropft. Nach 15-stündigem Erhitzen
unter Rückfluß wird filtriert und das Filtrat durch Abdestillieren
des Lösungsmittels im Vakuum eingeengt. Das zurückbleibende OeI wird mit 50 ml Wasser gewaschen und in Aether
aus- bzw. umkristallisiert. Man erhält 9 g (42,2 % der Theorie) 4-Acetoxy-l-[4-(4'-chlorphenyl)-phenoxy]-3,3-dimethyl-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on
vom Schmelzpunkt 110 - 1120C.

Zu 42,8 g (0,1 Mol) 4-Acetoxy-l-[4-(4'-chlorphenyl)-phenoxy]-3,3-dimethyl-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on
(Beispiel 2) in 200 ml Methanol werden 12 ml konzentrierte Salzsäure gegeben und 8
Stunden unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Anschließend wird das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum abdestilliert und der Rückstand mit 50 ml gesättigter
Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung und 50 ml Pentan versetzt.
Nach 2 Stunden wird das kristalline Produkt abgesaugt. Man erhält 38,9 g (100 % der Theorie) 1-[4-(4'-Chlorphenyl)-phenoxy]-3,3-dimethyl-4-hydroxy-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on
vom Schmelzpunkt 133 - 135°C.

7,72 g(0,02 Mol) l-O-(4l-Chlorphenyl)-phenoxyH-3,3-dimethyl-4-hydroxy-l-(imidazol-l-yl)-butan-2-on
(Beispiel 3) werden in 50 ml Methylenchlorid gelöst, mit 5 ml Pivalinsaurechlorid versetzt
und 5 Stunden unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Das Lösungsmittel wird anschließend im Vakuum abdestilliert, der Rückstand in
Methylenchlorid aufgenommen, zweimal mit je 50 ml gesättigter Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung gewaschen und eingeengt. Der
Rückstand wird in 50 ml Pentan aufgenommen, wobei er kristallisiert. Man erhält 5,3 g (60 % der Theorie) l-t4-(4'-Chlorphenyl) -phenoxy] -3,3-dimethyl-l- (imidazol-1-yl) -4-pivaloyloxybutan -2-on vom Schmelzpunkt 98 - 1030C.
Methylenchlorid aufgenommen, zweimal mit je 50 ml gesättigter Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung gewaschen und eingeengt. Der
Rückstand wird in 50 ml Pentan aufgenommen, wobei er kristallisiert. Man erhält 5,3 g (60 % der Theorie) l-t4-(4'-Chlorphenyl) -phenoxy] -3,3-dimethyl-l- (imidazol-1-yl) -4-pivaloyloxybutan -2-on vom Schmelzpunkt 98 - 1030C.
Analog den oben genannten Beispielen werden die nachfolgenden Beispiele der allgemeinen Formel

1. i-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivate der allgemeinen
Formel

in welcher
R für Wasserstoff, den Acylrest -CO-R oder
2 die Gruppierung -SO9-R steht, wobei
R für gegebenenfalls substituiertes Alkyl, Alkenyl, Alkinyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes
Phenyl, Phenoxyalkyl und Phenylalkyl, Cycloalkyl, Alkylamino, Dialkylamino
oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes
Phenylamino steht, und 2
R für Alkyl oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenyl steht,
A für eine Ketogruppe oder eine CH(OH)-Gruppierung steht,
X für Wasserstoff oder die Gruppierung -OR steht, wobei R die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat,
X für Alkyl oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenyl steht,
Y für die CH-Gruppe oder ein Stickstoffatom steht,
Z für Halgoen, Alkyl, Halogenalkyl, Cycloalkyl, Alkoxy, Alkylthio, Alkoxycarbony1, gegebenenfalls
substituiertes Phenyl und Phenoxy, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenylalkyl, Amino,

2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von i-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivaten,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 1~Brom-4-(R-oxy)-butan-2-one der Formel

R, X, X , Z und η die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben,
mit bekannten Azolen der Formel

Y die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat,
in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels und eines Säurebindemittels umsetzt, und gegebenenfalls die dabei erhaltenen
Azolyl-Ketone in an sich bekannter Weise selektiv
mit komplexen Borhydriden, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmitteins, reduziert und weiterhin
die i-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivate, gegebenenfalls
durch Umsetzen mit Säuren in die entsprechenden Salze überführt.

3. Fungizide und bakterizide Mittel, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an mindestens einem i-Azolyl-4-hydroxybutan-Derivat
gemäß Anspruch 1.
4. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen und Bakterien, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man i-Azolyl-4-hydroxybutan-Derivate
gemäß Anspruch 1 auf Pilze und Bakterien oder ihren Lebensraum einwirken läßt.
5. Verwendung von i-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivaten
gemäß Anspruch 1 zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen und Bakterien.
6. Verfahren zur Herstellung von fungiziden und bakteriziden Mitteln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 1-Azolyl-4-hydroxy-butan-Derivate
gemäß Anspruch 1 mit Streckmitteln und/oder oberflächenaktiven Mitteln vermischt.
