  • insbesondere von vakuumfesten Schläuchen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff Die erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verscliweißen von Schlauchstücken, insbesondere von vakuumfesten Schläuchen aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, mit einem auf den Schlauch einwirkenden Heizelement und mit einem auf diesen absenkbaren zweiteiligen Schweißstempel.
  • Ls sind Vorrichtungen zum Verscliweißen von Schlauchs tücken aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff bekannt die im allgemeinen aus zwei beheizten, gegeneinander drückbaren Scliweißbacken bestehen.
  • Das Schlauchstück wird zwischen die Schweißbacken geschoben, danach werden die Schweißbacken gegeneinandergedrückt, wobei das eingeklemmte Schlauchstück bereits vorher oder durch die aufgeheizten Schweißbacken auf die erforderliche Schweißtemperatur gebracht und durch einen von den Scliweißbacken auf das erhitzte Schlauchstüuck einwirkenden Druck verschweißt wird.
  • Zum Verscliweißen von thermoplastischen Kunststoffen sind mehrere Verfahren bekannt, die sich im wesentlichen in der Erwärmung des Schweißgutes voneinander unterscheiden. Für die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung kann selbstverständlich jedes geeignete Schweißverfahren verwendet werden.
  • Beim Verschweißen eines Schlauches - das Schlauchstück wird im Boreich der Schweißuaht auf die Schweißtemperatur erhitzt und durch tekannte Mittel zusammengedrückt - mißt die schwei@uabt etwa das @ineinhall fache des ursprünglichen Schlauchdarchmessers. piese Verbreiterung ist jedoch bei einer Verwendung des Schlanches als l@impfungselement in einer Kraftstuffleitung ungeeignet.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, mittels einer Vorrichtung die Bnden eines gegen äußeren Überdruch formstabilen Schlauches derart luftdicht zu verschweiGen, daß die Schbeißnähte den Burchumesser des ursprünglichen Sch@aurhstüches nicht überragen.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch ge@öst, daß der aus aber- und @nterteil bustel ende Schweißstempel seittich feststel@@de B@, re@@ @@@sflächen aufweist, die sich paqralle zur Schlauchlängsrichtung grstrecken.
  • Durch die Begrenzungsflächen kann sich das durch Wärum in plastischem Zustand versetzte Schlauchstück zwischen Ober- und Unterteil des druckbelasteten Schwei@stempels seitlich nicht ausdehnen und wird in den lichten Raum des Schlauches verdrängt, Um das Abfließen des plastischen kunststoffes in den Schlauchhohlraum zu begüastigen, kann der Schweißstempel an den knden verzugsweise konische Ausnehmungen aufweisen, welch@e einen Übergang vom Schlauchquerschnitt auf der abgequetscbten Schweißuabt verformen.
  • Darüber hinaus können die beiden gegenüberliegenden Begrenzungsflächen parallel zu einander sein und mit dem Ober- und Unterteil des Schweißstempels vorzugsweise einen rechteckigen @uerschnitt der Schweißnaht ergeben.
  • Außerdem kann der Abstand zwischen den Begrenzungsflächen gleich dem äußeren Schlauchdurchmesser sein.
  • Schließlich kann der Schweißstempel Anschläge zur Begrenzung der größtmöglichen Annäherung von Ober- und Unterteil aufweisen. Dieser begrenzte Abstand ist vorzugsweise etwa gleich der dopptelten Wandstärke des Schlauchstückes.
  • Anlland eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausftihrungsbei s1>i.'Its soll die Erfindung näher erläutert werden. Es zeigen Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch den Schweißstempel in eingefahrenem Zustand, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Fig. 1 und Fig. 3 bis 5 eine Schweißvorrichtung im Prinzip.
  • Der in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Schweißstempel besteht aus einem Oberteil 1 und einem Unterteil 2, wobei das Unterteil zwei parallel zueinander angeordnete Anschläge 3, 4 mit Begrenzungsflächen 5, 6 ausweis, zwischen denen das eigentliche Druckteil 7 eingreift.
  • Ober- und Unterteil 1, 2 des Schweißstempels sind derart ausgelegt, daß im eingefahrenen Zustand, beim Aufliegen der Anschläge 3J 4, ein schmaler, rechteckiger Querschnitt 8 offenbleibt. An den Enden des Schweißstempels ist je eine Sackbohrung 10, 11 vorgesehen, die in je eine konische Ausnehmung 12, 13 zum rechteckigen Querschnitt 8 ausläuft.
  • Die eigentliche Vorrichtung (Fig. 3 - 5) besteht aus zwei Schlauchführungen 14 und 15, wobei die Führung 14 aus einem Material mit geringem Wärmeleitvermögen sein kann. Ein axial verschiebbares Heizelement 16, welches bei Offenstellung des Schweißstempels zwischen Oberteil 1 und Unterteil 2 gefahren werden kann, erwärmt das Schlauchstück 9 auf die erforderliche Schweißtemperatur.
  • Nach Erreichen der Schweißtemperatur fährt das lleizelement 16 zur Seite, so daß es um die Führung 14 zu liegen kommt, die den Schlauch während der Schweißdauer gegen Wärme abschirmt.
  • Nach dem Verschieben des EleizeLementes 16 schließen sich Ober-und Unterteil (1, 2) des Schweißstempels bis die Anschläge 3, 4 fest aufeinanderliegen. Beim Zusammenpressen von Ober- und Unterteil verschweißt die Schlauchwandung, die Schweißnaht erhält die gewünschte, durch den Schweißstempel festgelegte Form. Das überflüssige, sich im plastischen Zustand befindliche Material wird hierbei in das Innere des Schlauches 9 gedrückt, wo es zu einem Pfropfen erstarrt, so daß eine feste und absolut dichte Verschweißung gebildet wird. Während des Schweißens bzw. während der Abkühlungszeit wird die vorhergehende Schweißnaht durch ein Messer 17 derart getrennt, daß mit einer einzigen Schweißnaht jeweils zwei Schlaucshstückenden verschweißt sind. Um die Schweißzeit abzukürzen, können Ober- und Unterteil des Schweißstempels vorzugsweise durch Kühlwasser gekühlt werden.
  • Nach genügender Abkühlung fahren Ober- und Unterteil des Schweißstempels in die Ausgangsstellungen zurück, der Schlauch 9 wird vorgeschoben, während das Heizelement 16 wieder in die Heizstellung gebracht wird.

Claims (5)

  1. Ans ric1e Vorrichtung zum Verschweißen von Schlauchstücken, insbesondere von vakuumfesten Schläuchen aus thermoplnstischem Kunststoff, mit einem auf den Schlauch einwirkenden Heizelement iind nit einem auf diesen absenkbaren zweiteiligen Schweißstempel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der aus Ober-und Unterteil (1, 2) bestebende Schweißstempel seitlich feststehende Begrenzungsflächen (5, 6) aufweist, die sich parallel zur Schtauchläbngsrichtung erstrecken.
  2. 2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 ,.Iurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schweißstepel an den Endeii vorzugsweise konische Ausnehmungen (12, 13) aufweist, welche einen Übergang von Schlauchquerschnitt auf der abgequetschten Schweißnaht verformen.

Vorrichtung nach Auspruch 2 d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, daß die beiden gegenüberliegenden Begrenzungsflächen (12, 13) parallel zu einander sind und in Verbindung mit dem Ober- und Unterteil (1, 2) des Schweißstempels vorzugsweise einen rechteckigen Querschnitt dr Schweißnaht ergeben.
  4. 4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß tier Abstand der Begrenzungsflächen (12, 13) gleich dem äußeren Schi auchdurclimesser ist.
  5. 5. Vorrichtung nach einem oder mehreren Ansprilehen 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeiellnet, tiall der SchweiLlstempel Anschläge (3, lt) zur Begrenzung der größtmöglichen Annäherung von Ober- und Unterteil (1, 2) aufweist.
