Formel I angegebene Bedeutung, X steht für Halogen, insbesondere für Chlor oder Brom, R1 für C1-C,-Alkyl und M für ein Alkalimetall,
insbesondere Natrium oder Kalium.

Die Umsetzungen A und C werden bei normalem Druck und in gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern inerten Lösungs- und
Verdünnungsmitteln durchgeführt. Als inerte Lösungs- und Verdünnungsmittel eignen sich z.B. wasserfreies DimethylsuIfoxid,
Dialkylformämide, Hexamethylphosphorsäuretriamid,
ferner Aether wie z.B. Tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-Dimethoxyäthan,
Dioxan oder Dialkylather, sowie Ketone wie Aceton, Methylethylketon
oder Cyclohexanon. Die Reaktionstemperatüren,
welche nicht sehr kritisch sind, liegen zwischen O0C und 1500C
je nach angewandten Lösungsmitteln und eingesetzter Base; bei DimethylsuIfoxid in Gegenwart von Alkalihydroxiden oder
Alkalialkoxiden z.B. zwischen 100C und 40°C," bei Dimethylformamid
in Gegenwart eines Alkalicarbonates zwischen 200C und 140°C. Die Hydrierung B wird in Gegenwart eines Metalloder
Edelmetallkatalysators wie z.B. Nickel, Kobalt resp. Palladium, Platin, Rhodium, Ruthenium, Iridium, gegebenenfalls
fein verteilt auf einem geeigneten Trägermaterial wie z.B. Bariumsulfat, Kohle, Aluminiumoxid etc. bei einer Temperatur
zwischen 00C und 500C, meist bei Raumtemperatur und in einem
inerten Lösungsmittel wie z.B. Dioxan, Essigester, einem Alkohol oder Dimethylformamid durchgeführt. Ausgangsstoffe
der Formeln II, III, IV und V sind bekannt oder können analog bekannten Methoden hergestellt werden.
Die Variante C kann .als das zur Herstellung der MethyIketone
der Formel I bevorzugte Verfahren aufgefasst werden:

Nach diesem an sich bekannten Verfahren wird ein 1-Halogen-'
pentan-4-on-Derivat erst in sein Ketal VI überführt und dieses Ketal mit dem gewünschten Phenolat zum Aryl-alkyläther
VII kondensiert. Am Ende wird die als Schutzgruppe eingeführte Ketalgruppierung wieder zum Methylketon hydrolysiert.
Die Herstellung des Ketals VI erfolgt durch bekannte Methoden, z.B. durch Umsetzung des Ketons mit einem einwertigen aliphatischen
Alkohol oder einem 1,2-Diol in Gegenwart einer katalytischen Menge einer Säure, wie z.B. p-Toluolsulfosäure
oder einer Mineralsäure unter azeotroper Abscheidung von Wasser mit Hilfe bekannter Schleppmittel, wie z.B. Chloroform,
Benzol, Toluol, Xylol etc. oder aber durch Umsetzung eines Ketons VI mit Orthoameisensäuretrialky!ester.
Die Kondensation zum 5-Aryloxy-pentanon-2-ketal VII erfolgt wie unter A angegeben. Die anschliessende Spaltung zum freien
Methylketon erfolgt durch säurekatalysierte Hydrolyse.
Nach der Gleichung D wird die Dreifachbindung der Pentinyloxyverbindung
IX durch Hg Katalyse in Gegenwart eines Alkohols R1OH in das entsprechende Acetol VII überführt, das anschliessend
mit verdünnter Säure zum Keton hydrolisiert wird.
Die Herstellung der Ausgangsstoffe der Formel IX ist in der deutschen Offenlegungsschrift 2.322.853 beschrieben.
Im J. med. Chem. 12, 911-913 (1969) ist beschrieben worden,

dass eine mit der Carbonylgruppe in Konjugation stehende
Doppelbindung für die Wirkung von Juveni!hormonen ausschlaggebend
ist. Dementsprechend sollte die Hydrierung der Doppelbindung die Juvenilhormon-Wirkung drastisch
reduzieren.
Ueberraschenderweise wurde nun festgestellt, dass die Verbindungen
der Formel I, welche in ihrer Seitenkette vollgesa'ttigt
sind,eine sehr gute Wirkung als Insektenwachsturns regulatoren
besitzen.
Sie eignen sich zur Bekämpfung von Insekten der Famil.'en: Tettigonidae, Gryllidae, Gryllotalpidae, Blattidae, Reduviidae,
Phyrrhocoridae, Cimicidae, Delphacidae, Aphididae, Diaspididae, Pseudococcidae, Scarabaeidae, Dermestidae, Coccinellidae,
Tenebrionidae, Chrysomelidae, Bruchidae, Tineidae, Noctuidae,
Lymatriidae, Pyrallidae, Culicidae, Tipulidae, Stomoxydae,
Trypetidae, Muscidae, Calliphoridae und Pulicidae. Die insektizide Wirkung lässt sich durch Zusatz von Insektiziden
und/oder Akariziden sowie Insektenlockstoffen wesentlich
verbreitern und an gegebene Umstände anpassen.
Als Zusätze eignen sich z.B.:
Organische Phosphorverbindungen, Nitrophenole und ihre Derivate,
Pyrethrine, Formamidine, Harnstoffe, Karbamate, chlorierte
Kohlenwasserstoffe oder andere Insektenviachstumsreciulatoren.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I können für sich allein oder zusammen mit geeigneten Trägern und/oder Zuschlagstoffen

eingesetzt werden. Geeignete Träger und Zuschlagstoffe
können fest oder flüssig sein und entsprechen den in der Formulierungstechnik Üblichen Stoffen wie z.B. natürlichen
oder regenerierten Stoffen, Lösungs-, Dispergier-, Netz-, Haft-, Verdickungs-, Binde- und/oder Düngemitteln.
Zur Applikation können die Verbindungen der Formel I zu Stäubeinitteln, Emulsionskonzentraten, Granulaten, Dispersionen,
Sprays, zu Lösungen oder Aufschlämmungen in üblicher Formulierung, die in der Applikationstechnik zum
Allgemeinwissen gehören, verarbeitet werden.
Die Herstellung erfindungsgemässer Mittel erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise durch inniges Vermischen und/oder
Vermählen von Wirkstoffen der Formel I mit den geeigneten Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von gegenüber
den Wirkstoffen inerten Dispergier- oder Lösungsmitteln. Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen
vorliegen und angewendet werden;

Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in den oben beschriebenen,Mitteln
liegt zwischen 0,1 bis 95%, dabei ist zu erwähnen, dass
bei der Applikation aus dem Flugzeug oder mittels anderer geeigneter Applikationsgeräte Konzentrationen bis zu 99,5%
oder sogar reiner Wirkstoff eingesetzt werden können. Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I können beispielsweise wie
folgt, formuliert werden:
Sfftubetnittel: Zur Herstellung eines a) 5%igen und
b) 2%igen Stäubemittels werden die folgenden Stoffe verwende t: ·

Granulat:: Zur Herstellung eines 57oigen Granulates werden
die folgenden Stoffe verwendet:
5 Teile Wirkstoff
0,25 Teile Epichlorhydrin,
0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykoläther,
3,50 Teile Polyäthylenglykol . 91 Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3 - 0,8 mm).
Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und mit 6 Teilen Aceton gelost, hierauf wird Polyäthylenglykol
und Cetylpolyglykoläther zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht und anschliessend das
Aceton im Vakuum verdampft.
Spritzpulver: Zur Herstellung eines a) 407oigen, b) und c)
25%igen d) 10%igen Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile
verwendet:
a) 40 Teile Wirkstoff
5 Teile Ligninsulfonsäure-Natriumsalz,

sich mit Wasser zu Suspensionen jeder gevrtinschten Konzentration
verdünnen lassen.

. Beispiel 1
A) Herstellung von 4-4(4-Phenoxy) -phenoxyi-buttersäurediäthylamid

In eine Lösung von 28 g 4-Phenoxy-phenol in 100 ml v/asser freiem
Diemthylsulfoxid v/erden bei 1O°C 17 g Kalium-tert.-butanolat
eingetragen. Nachdem sich die Base vollständig gelöst hat, werden unter Rühren innerhalb von 2 Stunden 26,5 g' Chlor-buttersäurediäthylamid,
gelöst in 20 ml Dimethylsulfoxid zugetropft und über Nacht bei Raumtemperatur weiter gerührt. Zur Aufarbeitung
giesst man das Reaktionsgerciisch auf Eiswasser und extrahiert
wiederholt mit Diäthyläther. Die vereinigten Aetherphasen v/erden viermal mit kalter lO%iger Kalilauge und anschliessend
wiederholt mit Wasser gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet
.Nach dem Abdestillieren des Aethers erhält man rohes 4+(4-Phenoxy)-phenoxyTbuttersäure-diMthylamid, welches durch
Chromatographie an Kieselgel {Eluiermittel: Aether-Hexan 1:3)
gereinigt und aus Isopropopanol/Hexan urakristallisiert bei
73-74°C schmilzt.
B) Herstellung von 4-1(4-Phenoxy) -phenoxy!-3-methyl-butensäureäthylester

15,6 g 4-|(4-Phenoxy)-phenoxy73-methyl-2-butensäure-äthylester,
gelöst in 200 ml Essigsäureäthylester werden nach Zugabe von 4 g Palladiumkatalysator (Gehalt 5% Pd) katalytisch bei
Raumtemperatur hydriert, wobei innerhalb von ca..22 Stunden 1125 ml Wasserstoff aufgenommen werden.
Die Kydrierlösung wird hierauf vom Katalysator abfiltriert,
das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum vollständig entfernt und der ölige

Rückstand an Kieselgel "chromatographisch gereinigt (Eluierungsmittel:
Aether-Hexan 1:5). Man erhält die Verbindung der Formel

Eine bestimmte Menge einer 0,l%igen acetonischen Wirkstoff-
lösung (entsprechend 10 mg AS/m ) wurde in eine Alu-Schale
pipettiert und gleichmässig verteilt.
Each dem Verdunsten des Acetons wurden in die behandelte
Schale, welche Futter und feuchte V7atte erhielten, 10 Larven des 5. Stadiums von Dysdercus fasciatus gegeben. Die
Schale wurde dann mit einem Siebdeckel zugedeckt.
Nach ca. 10 Tagen, d.h., sobald die Kontrolltiere die Adulthäutung vollzogen hatten, wurden die Versuchstiere
nach der Zahl der Normaladulte untersucht.
Die Verbindungen gemäss Beispiel 1 zeigten gute Wirkung
im obigen Test.

Kontaktwirkung auf Aedes-aegypti-Larven
In einem Becher enthaltend eine Lösung der Aktivsubstanz (Konzentration 5 ppm) wurden ungefähr 20 2-tä'gige
Larven der Gelbfiebermücke (Aedes aegypti) angesetzt. Der Becher wurde dann mit einem Siebdeckel zugedeckt.
Nachdem die Kontroll tiere ihre Adultha'utung vollzogen
hatten, wurden die Versuchstiere untersucht und die prozentuale Zahl der normalen Adulten im Vergleich zur Kontrolle
bestimmt.
Die Verbindungen gemäss Beispiel 1 zeigten gute Wirkung
im obigen Test.

Eine bestimmte Menge einer O,l%igen acetonischen Wirk-

stoff lösung entsprechend 10 rag AS/m wurde in eine Alu-Schale

Claims (12)
- Patentansprüche 1. /Verbindungen der Formel(I)I!worin R, Cyano oder den-Rest -C-R?, R?= Methoxy, Aethoxy,Propoxy, Isopropoxy, n-, i-, sek.-, tert.- Butoxy, Propargyloxy, Methylthio, Aethylthio, Isopiopylthio, Methylamino, Aethylamino, Isopropylamino, Dimethylatnino, Diäthylamino oder Methyl, R- Wasserstoff oder Methyl und -CH^- oder -0- bedeuten.
- 2. Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1, worin R, Carbomethoxy, Carbäthoxy, Isopropoxycarbonyl, N-Aethylcarbamoyl, N,N-Diäthylcarbamoyl oder Acetyl, R~ Wasserstoff oder Methyl und Y -CHo- oder -O- bedeuten.

Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formelmit einer Verbindung der FormelX-GH2-CH-CH2-R1 R3umsetzt, worin R, bis R~ und Y die im Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben und X für ein Halogen und M für ein Alkalimetall steht.5 09818/1249
- 9. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen gemäss Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel0-CH0-C=CH-R- ^ 1 -in Gegenwart eines Metall- oder Edelmetallkatalysators hydriert.
- 10. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen gemMss Anspruch 1, worin R1 für Acetyl steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel0-CH0-CH-CH0-IOR1^3 CH3 OR1in Gegenwart einer Sä'ure als Katalysator hydrolysiert.
- 11. Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, welche als aktive Komponente eine Verbindung der Formel0-CH0-CH-CH2-R11ί"Λ \J .5098 Ί 8/ 1249tiworin R, Cyano oder den Rest -C-R2, R2= Methoxy, Aethoxy,Propoxy, Isopropoxy, n-, i-, sek.-, tert.-,Butoxy, Propargyloxy, Methylthio, Aethylthio, Isopropylthio, Me thy !amino, Ae thy l^amino, Isopropylamino, Dimethylamino, Diäthylamino oder Methyl, ■ R„ Wasserstoff oder Methyl undY -CH9- oder -0- bedeuten, und geeignete Trägerstoffe enthalten.
- 12. Verwendung von Verbindungen der Formel0-CH2-CH-CH2-R1 (I)R3Itworin R-j Cyano oder den Rest -C-R9, R9= Methoxy, Aethoxy, Propoxy, Isopropoxy, n-, i-, sek.-, tert.- Butoxy, Propargyloxy, Methylthio, Aethylthio, Isopropylthio, Methylamino, Aethylamino, Isopropylamino, Dimethylamine, Diäthylamino oder Methyl,R.
