Von bestimmten Silanverbindungen ist es bekannt, daß sie mit den Hydroxygruppen des Siliciumdioxids
und ähnlichen Verbindungen reagieren, siehe z. B. Plastic Report 18, »Glass/Resin Interface: Patent
Survey, Patent List, and General Bibliography«, Office of Technical Services, Department of Commerce.
Ferner ist bekannt, daß gewisse Silanphosphine aufgrund ihrer Reaktionsfähigkeit zur Herstellung von
auf Trägern verankerten Katalysatoren verwendet werden.
So sind aus DE-OS 20 62 351 Katalysatorträger und Katalysatoren in diesen Trägern sowie ein Verfahren
zum Verankern von Katalysatoren bekannt Al«, einziger
Katalysatorligand zur Verankerung wird 2-Triethoxy-silylethyl-diphenylphosphin, eine bekannte Verbindung
der Formel
(C6Hs)2PCH2CH2Si(OC2Hs)3
beschrieben. Andere bekannte Silylalkylphosphine der allgemeinen Formel
Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Silylhydrocarbylphosphine sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und
ihre Verwendung.

Ethoxygruppe oder Chlor und π=2 oder 3 bedeuten, werden als typische Verankerungsliganden auf Seite 7
der genannten DE-OS erwähnt. Alle diese bekannten Phosphine weisen zwischen dem Silicium- und dem
Phosphoratom eine Alkylenbrücke mit 2 oder 3 Kohlenstoffatomen auf.
Im Gegensatz hierzu betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung neue Silylhydrocarbylphosphine, die als Verankerungsmittel
geeignet sind, sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung. Insbesondere unterscheiden sich diese
neuen Verankerungsmittel durch die bisher nicht mögliche Herstellung der längeren, das Phosphin und
die Silanhälfte verbindenden Alkylenbrücken. Diese Verankerungsmittel können in verankerte Übergangsmetallkomplexe
überführt werden, die sich als überlegene selektive Katalysatoren erwiesen haben. Letztere
sind Gegenstand des Patents (Patentanmeldung P 23 32 167.7).
Die Addition von Phosphinen an Vinylsilane ist ausführlich von H. Niebergall, Makromolekulare Chemie,
Band 52 (1962), Seiten 218 bis 229, untersucht worden. Dabei wurde festgestellt, daß Diethylphosphin
mit Divinyl-dichlorsilan entsprechend den folgenden Reaktionsschemata reagiert:

Niebergall teilte mit, daß die beiden obenerwähnten
Reaktionen bei Abwesenheit freier Radikale ablaufen.
Jetzt wurde überraschend festgestellt, daß die Bildung von P —S-Bindungen bei der Umsetzung von Phosphinen
mit ω-Alkenylsilanen vermieden werden kann. t|
Diese Reaktion kann daher, meist unter milden
Bedingungen, zur Synthese der erfindungsgemäßen Süylhydrocarbylphosphine eingesetzt werden.
Dementsprechend betrifft die Erfindung Süylhydrocarbylphosphine der allgemeinen Formel
(R'a-, PW(CH2)^SiR4-,
in der R ein Chloratom, eine Cr bis Q-Alkoxy-, Ci- bis
Q-Acyloxy- oder eine gesättigte aliphatische oder aromatische Ci- bis Cs-Hydrocarbylgruppe bedeutet,
wobei mindestens eine der R-Gruppen ein Chloratom, eine Alkoxy- oder eine Acyloxygruppe ist, R' eine
gesättigte aliphatische oder eine aromatische Hydrocarbylgruppierung mit 1 bis 30 C-Atomen und m=5 bis 30,
z= 1 oder 2,y= 1 oder 2 und x= 1 oder 2 bedeuten.
Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur is Herstellung dieser Silylhydrocarbylphosphine. Das
erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man
a) ω-Alkenylsilane der allgemeinen Formel

bedeutet, wobei mindestens eine der R-Gruppen ein Chloratom, eine Alkoxy- oder eine Acyloxygruppe
ist, y=l oder 2 und ö=m-2 = 3 bis 28
bedeuten.
mit Phosphinen der allgemeinen Formel

Komponenten, zweckmäßig im Vakuum, abtrennt und, vorzugsweise durch fraktionierte
Vakuumdestillation, reinigt
Der Rest R' in der Phosphinverbindung kann eine gesättigte aliphatische oder eine aromatische Hydrocarbylgruppierung
mit 1-30 C-Atomen sein. Meistens handelt es sich hierbei um eine Cr bis Cjo-Alkyl-,
Cyclohexyl- oder Phenylgruppe. R' ist vorzugsweise eine Ci - bis C4-Alkyl-, Cyclohexyl- oder Phenylgruppe.
In der allgemeinen Formel für die in Frage kommenden Phosphine ist χ vorzugsweise 2.
Die Reaktion der Phosphine mit den o-Alkenylsilanen
betrifft nur die P-H- und CH2=CH -Si-Gruppierungen entsprechend der folgenden Gleichung:

in der Symbole die bereits vorstehend angegebenen Bevorzugt werden Additionen durchgeführt, bei
Bedeutungen haben. Der Wert von ζ muß natürlich so denen χ und y 1 und 2 sind, wie beispielsweise
gewählt werden, daß die Valenzen abgesättigt sind. 35

Besonders bevorzugt werden ö-Alkenyl-chJorsilane und sich daraus ergebende Verbindungen wie beispielsweise
R2PH + CH2=CH(CHj)1SiCl3 —>

Die gewünschte Anti-Markovnikov-Reaktion wird durch die Verwendung freie Radikale bildender
Katalysatoren wie durch Bestrahlung und/oder chemische Initiatoren eingeleitet. Die Initiation durch
Bestrahlung erfolgt durch y-Strahlen oder UV-Licht. Typische chemische Initiatoren sind Azoverbindungen
wie Azo-bis-isobutyro-nitril. Die Anwendung von Bestrahlung oder deren Kombination mit chemischen
Initiatoren wird gegenüber der alleinigen Verwendung von chemischen Initiatoren bevorzugt. Bei Einleiten der
Reaktion durch Bestrahlung wird die Anwendung niedriger Reaktionstemperaturen ermöglicht.
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann zwischen —105 und + 1000C, meist zwischen -100 und +16° C und
vorzugsweise zwischen —80 und 00C betragen. Die höchste mögliche Reaktions'emperatur hängt weitgehend
von der Basizität des verwendeten Phosphins ab. Die stärker basischen Dialkylphosphine haben eine
höhere Tendenz dazu, unerwünschte Nebenreaktionen unter Beteiligung der Chlorsilangruppe einzugehen.
Die Reaktion wird in flüssiger Phase durchgeführt, so daß das Verfahren meist unter Atmosphärendruck
betrieben wird. Im Fall der bei den Reaktionstemperaturen normalerweise gasförmigen Phosphine wie Methylphosphin
kann überatmosphärischer Druck bis zu etwa 21 bar eingesetzt werden, um die Umsetzungspartner in
flüssiger Phase zu halten.
Die Reaktion wird meist ohne Zugabe von Lösungsmitteln durchgeführt. Gegebenenfalls können jedoch
nichtreaktive Lösungsmittel verwendet werden, wie beispielsweise Ketone wie Methylethyl-keton, Ether
und Thioether wie Dipropyl-sulfid, aliphatische und cycloaliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Cyclohexan,
aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe oder halogenierte Derivate wie Chlorbenzol.
Das Verhältnis der Umsetzungspartner ist nicht kritisch; die Verbindungen werden meist in äquivalenten
Mengen eingesetzt. Vorzugsweise werden jedoch etwa 0,3 bis 6 Mol Phosphin je Mol Alkenylsilan verwendet.
Im Fall der monofunktionellen Umsetzungspartner werden vorzugsweise 1,5 bis 2,5 Mol Phosphin je Mol
Alkenylsilan zugegeben.
Die Additionsreaktionen werden vorzugsweise bis zu einer 20- bis 90%igen Umwandlung des Phosphins
durchgeführt, wobei insbesondere eine Umwandlung von mehr als 50% angestrebt wird. Weitgehende
Umsetzung der Reaktionspartner ist wichtig, um unerwünschte Nebenreaktionen zu verhindern. Bei
Behandlung der Reaktion werden die nicht umgesetzten Komponenten meist durch Strippdestillation im Vakuum
entfernt Die Produkte können vorzugsweise durch fraktionierte Vakuumdestillation gereinigt werden. .
Es wurde überraschend festgestellt, daß sich die erfindungsgemäßen Silylhydrocaroylphosphine mit
Übergangsmetallen der Gruppen Vl, VIl und VIII des Periodensystems zu Komplexverbindungen umsetzen
lassen, die sich durch die allgemeine Formel

Diese Komplexverbindungen besitzen katalytische
wiedt-i geben lassen, in der g 1 bis 6 und s 1 bis 3 bedeuten.
Diese Komplexverbindungen besitzen katalytische
10 Wirkungen und lassen sich insbesondere in Form von an die Hydroxylgruppen anorganischer Feststoffe verankerten
Komplexen als stabile Katalysatoren mit gesteigerter Stereoselektivität verwenden. Dementsprechend
betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung auch eine Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Silylhydrocarbylphosphine
zur üblichen Herstellung von nicht verankerten oder an Hydroxylgruppen enthaltende anorganische
Feststoffe verankerten Übergangsmetallkomplexen mit Metallen der Gruppen VI, VII und VIII des Periodensystems.
Die Erfindung wird anhand der folgenden Beispiele weiter erläutert.
Beispiel 1 Addition von Diphenylphosphin an Alkenyl-trichlorsilan
P(CHj)nSiCl3
In einem Quarzreaktionsgefäß mit Magnetrührer, Stickstoff sprudlcr und Tropf trichter wurden 13 g (0,07
Mol) Diphenylphosphin eingebracht Zu dem gerührten bestrahlten Diphenylphosphin wurden unter Stickstoff
in 5 Minuten 0,07 Mol Alkenyl-trichlorsilan zugesetzt. Die Bestrahlung der gerührten Reaktionrmischung
wurde bei 15° C weitere 24 Stunden mit 2 Hanau-75-Watt-Immersionslampen
mit einem Hochdruckquecksilberbogen und einem breiten Emissionsspektrum
fortgeführt Die nachfolgende NMR-Anaiyse einer Probe zeigte, daß im wesentlichen eine quantitative
Addition eingetreten war, da in der Reaktionsmischung keine ungesättigte Alkenylgruppierung festzustellen
war. Das rohe Produkt wurde im Hochvakuum destilliert und ergab farblose flüssige Addukte. Die
Elementaranalysen und Siedebereiche der Verbindung sind in der Tabelle aufgeführt.
Beispiel 2 Addition von Phenylphosphin an Alkenyl-trichlorsilan

In der im vorangegangenen Beispiel beschriebenen Weise wurden 22 g (0,2 MoI) Phenylphosphin zu 0,4 Mol
Alkenyltrichlorsilan zugegeben. Die NMR-Analyse des Rohproduktes zeigte die Abwesenheit olefinischer
NichtSättigung an. Die fraktionierte Destillation im Vakuum ergab eine klare farblose Flüssigkeit.
Im allgemeinen wurden äquimolare Mengen der Verbindungen eingesetzt. Allerdings wurde festgestellt,
daß die Umwandlung der Alkenylsilane erhöht werden kann, wenn doppelte Mengen des umzusetzenden
Phosphins verwendet werden.
Die Addition von Diphenylphosphin an die olefinische Bindung der Silane scheint schneller einzutreten als
die der stärker basischen Dialkylphosphine (Tabelle, Nr. 3 im Vergleich zu 4).
Die verringerte Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit der letzteren Verbindung hängt vermutlich mit der erhöhten
Donorwirksamkeit und entsprechenden Reaktionen der Phosphoratome mit dem Silicium zusammen.
Diese Additionsreaktionen zeigen eine stark verringerte Geschwindigkeit wenn anstelle der ω-Alkenylverbindungen
die innenständigen Alkenylsilane eingesetzt werden. Die ausgeprägte Differenz läßt vermuten, daß
sterische Hinderung ein wichtiger Faktor bei der Begrenzung der Addition der umfangreichen Phosphinylradikale
an innenständigen Doppelbindungen ist
Die Silylalkylphosphinaddukte sind im allgemeinen farblose hochviskose Flüssigkeiten. Die hohe Viskosität
bei Raumtemperatur ist vermutlich ein Anzeichen der ausgeprägten molekularen Assoziation aufgrund von
P-<■ Si-Reaktionen. Sie können durch fraktionierte
Destillation im Hochvakuum isoliert werden. Einige Verbindungen können bei Temperaturen über 2000C
ohne Zersetzung destilliert werden (vgl. Tabelle Nr. 1 -5). Dies zeigt, daß sie eine beträchtliche thermische
Stabilität besitzen. Die angenommene Struktur der Addukte wird von der Elementaranalyse gestützt (vgl.
Tabelle). Aus den NMR-Spektren ergibt sich der unverzweigte Charakter der Polymethylengruppierungen
als Brücke zwischen der Phosphin- und der Silaneinheit.

Addition des Diphenylphosphin an 7-Octenyl-dimethoxy-chlorsilan
(C6Hj)2PH + CH2=CH(CH2)6Si(OCHJ)2Cl

Eine Mischung aus 40,7 g (0,2 Mol) Diphenylphosphin und 23,24 g (0,1 Mol) 7-Octenyl-dimethoxy-chlorsilan
wurde bei 15°C 72 Stunden bestrahlt. Das NMR-Spektrum
des flüssigen Produktes zeigte das Verschwinden der meisten Vinylprotonen an und bestätigte die
Addition unter Bildung von 8-Dimethoxy-chIor-silyl-octyl-diphenyl-phosphin.
Allerdings zersetzte sich das Produkt beim Versuch der Destillation im Vakuum beim
Erwärmen auf 2100C.
Claims (2)
1. Silylhydrocarbylphosphine der allgemeinen Formel
in der R sin Chloratom, eine Ci- bis Q-Alkoxy-, Cibis
Q-Acyloxy- oder eine gesättigte aliphatische oder aromatische Cr bis Q-Hydrocarbylgruppe
bedeutet, wobei mindestens eine der R-Gruppen ein Chloratom, eine Alkoxy- oder eine Acyloxygruppe
ist, R' einge gesättigte aliphatische oder eine aromatische Hydrocarbylgruppierung mit 1 bis 30
C-Atomen und m=5 bis 30, z= 1 oder 2, y= 1 oder 2
und x= 1 oder 2 bedeuten.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Silylhydrocarbylphosphinen gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß man
