Die Umsetzung von SuIfonylisocyanaten mit H-aciden Verbindungen
/ ehem. . ivxv
ist lange bekannt (vgl. Ber. dtsch. Ges. 3_J_ (190^), 690).
Es ist ebenfalls bekannt, Sulfonylisocyanate mit Polymeren, die Hydroxyl- oder Aminogruppen enthalten, umzusetzen (vgl. US-Patentschrift
3 422 O75).
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind mit ungesättigten Gruppen substituierte
N-Carbonylsulfonamide der Formel

in denen R einen gesättigten aliphatischen Alkyl- oder Alkoxyrest mit jeweils 1 bis 6, vorzugsweise; 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen,
der gegebenenfalls mit 1 bis 3 Halogenatomen, vorzugsweise Chloratomen, substituiert ist, einen cycloaliphatischen
Alkylrest oder einen Aryl- oder Aryloxyrest mit jeweils 6 oder
10 Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls 1- bis 3fach mit

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung
von substituierten N-Carbonylsulfonamiden, das dadurch
gekennzeichnet ist, daß ein Sulfonylisocyanat der Formel
(IV) R-SO-NCO,
in der R einen gesättigten aliphatischen Alkyl- odez* Alkoxyrest
mit jeweils 1 bis 6, vorzugsweise 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen,
der gegebenenfalls mit 1 bis 3 Halogenatomen, vorzugsweise Chloratomen, substituiert ist, einetcycloalxphatxschen Alkylrest
odor einen Aryl- oder Aryloxyrest mit jeweils 6 oder Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls 1- bis 3fach mit Halogen
atomen, vorzugsweise Chloratomen, und/oder Alkyl- oder Alkoxyresten mit jeweils 1 bis 6, vorzugsweise 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen

Das erfindungsgomäße Verfahren wird bei Atmosphärendruck bei
Temperet türen von O bis 100, vorzugsweise von 20 bis 80 C,
insbesondere bei Raumtemperatur, durchgeführt, j^s ist notwendig,
das Verfahren unter wasserfreien Bedingungen, d.h. «xiter .--:■-Feuchtigkoi
tsriusschl.ufl, durchzuführen.
Das erfindungsgemäßo Vorfahren wird vortoilhaftorweise so durchgoführt,
daß man einen Roaktionspartner in einem wasserfreien
aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoff, vorzugsweise Benzol oder Toluol,
oder Jn οίποπι wasserfreien Äther, vorzugsweise Diäthyläthor oder
1 , h-l) i oxui), löst und den zweiton Reaktionspartner, im gleichen
odor in einem anderen Lösungsmittel gelöst, unter Rühren und
Überleiten eines Inertgases, vorzugsweise Stickstoff, bei Raumtemperatur
zutropft. Die Isolierung der Reaktionsprodukte geschieht
entweder durch Abdampfen dos Lösungsmittels, durch Kühlung
auf 0 C odor durch Zugabe eines Fällungsmittels, z.B. eines
aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffs wie n-llexan oder n-Hoptt'jii, zur
h'uak t i oiu.'iii i schuug, Die Reaktionsprodukte können aus einem geeigneten
l.'i ■ ungsini t to , z.B. Methanol, Äthanol, Toluol oder Diisopropyl

Die erf iudungsgomäßori Verbindungen lassen sich als N-Sulfonylcarbami

Die erfindungsgemäße Verbindungen sind radikalisch polymerisierbar
und werden zur Herstellung von Homo- oder Copolymerisaten
Verwendet, die als Flockungsmittel, Dispergiermittel oder als Bindemittel für lichtempfindliche Schichten dienen.
Die in den folgenden Beispielen angegebenen Toile bedeuten Gewichtsteile;
bei den Prozentangaben handelt es sich um Gewichtsprozente.
65 Teile ß-IIydroxyäthylmethacrylat v/erden in "Mio Teilen wasserfreiem
Diäthyläther gelöst. Unter Rühren und Überleiten von Stickstoff wird bei Raumtemperatur eine Lösung von 115 Teilen
p-Methylphonoxysulfonylisocyanat in 350 Teilen wasserfreiem
Diäthyläther innerhalb 20 Minuten zugetropft. Das Gemisch wird
auf 0 C gekühlt und bei dieser Temperatur 1 Stunde nachgerührt.
Der entstandene weiße Niederschlag wird abgesaugt, aus Isopro pylather
umkristallisiert und' im Vakuuniexsikkator getrocknet.
Ausbeute: . 97» 5 Pi'ozent
Schmelzpunkt: 57°C

Claims (2)
- Patentansprüchei.jMit ungesättigten Gruppen substituierte N-Carbonylsulfonamide der Formel(I) R-SO -NH-CO-/"o-(CH ) J -X-CO-CRi=CH0 . oder(II) R-SO-NH-CO-/ 0-A_7 -N (III)CO-CIIco-Choderin denen R einen gesättigten aliphatischen Alkyl- oder Alkoxyrest mit jeweils 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls mit 1 bis 3 Halogenatomen substituiert ist, einen cycloaliphatischen Alkylrest oder einen Aryl- oder Aryloxyrest mit jeweils 6 oder 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls 1- bis 3fach mit Halogenatomen und/oder Alkyl- oder Alkoxyresten mit jeweils 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiert ist, R' ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen Methylrost, X ein Sauerstoffatom oder eine Iminogruppe, A einen Phenylenrest oder einen Alkylonrest mit 1 bis h Kohlenstoffatomon bedeutet, η eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 4 und m gleich 1 ist oder, wenn X eine Iminogruppe darstellt, auch Null sein kann.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von substituierton N-Carbonylsulfonamiden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein SuIfonylisocyanat der Formel(IV) R-SO2-NCO,in der R einen gesättigten aliphatischen Alkyl- oder Alkoxyrest mit jeweils 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls mit 1 bis 3 Halogenatomen substituiert ist, einen cycloaliphatischen Alkylrest oder einen Aryl- oder Aryloxyrost mit jeweils 6 oder 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, der gegebenenfalls 1- bis 3fach mit Halogenatomen und/oder Alkyl- oder Alkoxyreston mit jeweils 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen substituiert109850/1982ist, bedeutet, mit einer H-aciden ungesättigten Verbindung der FormelH-/~O-.(CH2)nJ7m-X-CO-CR«=CH2 oder CO-CH(VI) H-/"O-A_7m-Nv J oder'CO-CHm V(VII) H0N-SO0-A -CR^=CH9,2 min denen R1 ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen Methylrest, X ein Sauerstoffatom oder eine Irainogruppe, A einen Phenylenrest oder einen Alkylenrest mit 1 bis h Kohlenstoffatomen bedeutet, η eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis k und in gleich 1 ist oder, wenn X eine Iminogruppe darstellt, auch Null sein kann, bei Temperaturen von O bis 100 C unter Inertgasatraosv. phäre umgesetzt wird.109850/1982 COPY
